Lord Barlek ceased his slow stride and stood silent. After a moment he craned his head to the side and eyed Mishitsukai with his peripherals. The Sith could practically taste the anxiety dripping from him, and it gave him amusement.

"I can smell your fear..." he said calmly through the exterior speaker of his helmet. His voice was educated, dignified, yet dark and metallic, as if he was speaking through a respirator.

"Hmph... Spineless worm." he muttered. The mysterious armored figure slid into the booth. From behind the dark visor he observed the other patrons. Occasionally a soft hiss emanated from the complex respirator that gripped the front of his fortified neck. He folded his arms and sighed from within his helmet.

Xalgan released a painful groan from within his helmet. There was something about the auras of these children that just sickened him. He could feel the darkness within the siblings' hearts. The girl had much potential, but she had no idea what true malice was... Perhaps the Sith could have a bit of fun?

After a moment the sith lifted his black gauntleted hand a few inches from the surface of the table. His first two fingers gave a violent twitch. Across the room, as Musume lifted her tea, her cup would shatter into a dozen pieces, sending the hot liquid splattering in every direction.

"Ah... The lapdog shows his teeth..." smirked the man in the body armor. "But will it be used for biting - or barking?" With that the Sith Lord rose from his seat and made a wide arc across the room with his right should facing Meshitsukai and Musume. He took note of the soldier that entered. Perhaps she could be a better match for him. Right now, however, he preferred to pick on the youngsters. Isn't everyone entitled to a little entertainment?

"Then you will know pain." he snarled. With lightning quick reflexes the armored figure swung his arm up as if to parry the blow. However, there was one problem. His hand was empty. It was then that the long chrome cylinder attached to his belt flew off from his waist and into the man's grip. With a raging hum and flash, a pillar of crimson light emerged from the hollow tip like a photonic blade. Meshitsukai's sword would abruptly stop upon contact with the light, if not deflected or simply cut asunder.

Without missing a beat, Xalgan outstretched his free hand towards his adversary. A powerful telekinetic force would smash into the man, sending him flying several feet.

"Perhaps..." he replied to Meshitsukai. The Sith gripped the lightsaber tightly in his hand. He then switched his attention to the Spartan that addressed him. "... and perhaps you should stay out of a Sith's affairs!" Xalgan growled. With a flip of his wrist a table adjacent to Noble would launch into the barrel of the massive gun in an attempt to knock him out of it's sights. He then formed a pincer with the same hand, causing a strong intangible choke against the woman's throat before throwing her against the wall with another flip of his wrist.

Force resistant shields? Interesting... The Sith almost laughed at the denial of the woman's violent rampage. He could feel her rage. It pleased him. It drove him. "What's wrong? Can't you use your large toys against the big bad Sith? Getting angry, arn't you? Go ahead... Release your rage. Only your hatred can defeat me!" he taunted before returning his attention to Meshitsukai. "I am starting to lose interest in you, boy. Perhaps we could spar some other time. Right now, however, it seems that the big kids have come out to play..."

He swung his lightsaber once and glared at Anodyne, Noble, and Puma. The Sith Lord's inner fiery rage was building and the Force surged around him like an invisible maelstrom. Truly - this will be an epic battle.

"I have heard of these so called Aschen..." replied the Sith. "Sniveling newborns - all of them! I have walked these broken streets and seen your ruins. The destruction caused by these Aschen does not even compare to the cataclysmic apocalypses brought by the might of the Sith Empire! Fortunately for you, however, the Empire has yet to decide what it wants to do with this measly backwater world. And also to your favor, I have run out of time here... So I think I may only kill some of you..."

The Sith moved with blinding speed. His saber virtually left his hand as it spun like a propeller, forming a makeshift shield. What bullets managed to escape deflection from the sword were met with the glow of an energy shield that surrounded the Sith, or the advanced armor that shielded his body. A deafening cry ripped from his lungs as his form darted through the air like a raging tempest.

The distance to the Spartan and the group at the door was closed in the blink of an eye. He landed with a powerful shock-wave that rippled with an electric maelstrom as several tables and chairs were tossed like toys from the enraged Sith Lord. Xalgan channeled his inertia into his saber arm, directing it into a destructive flurry combination attack at those who had the misfortune of being in the reach of his deadly lightsaber. With one hand, Xalgan attempted to send Anodyne flying across the room with a well-placed (and powerful) Force push.

He then darted out the door.

The door of the nightclub swung open with a mild creak. A mysterious figure cloaked in shadow stood in the doorway. He was clad in a suit of full body armor that was as black as the deepest reaches of space. A black sealed metallic helmet concealed his face. With machine-like precision he scanned the room from beneath the concealing darkness of the visor. After a short and silent moment he began a slow yet deliberate trek to a darkened booth. His metallic boots crunched softly against the rubble that decorated the floor, followed by a low hiss from his helmet. Lord Barlek passed between the shattered furniture and drunken refugees without notice.

The sound of boots crunching on the ground came through Gerard's explosion-shocked ears first. He scrambled up, grabbing at the counter and recoiling as his palm was sliced by glass. Keeping low, Gerard slid his gun from where it was and trained it on the newcomer in black.

Gerard licked away a trail of blood coming from his mouth somewhere. For now, he watched the stranger. He seemed to know where he was going, was he looking for something. A quick look around proved Braxton was on the ground still, breathing slow and steady. With a frown, he looked back to the man in black, clearing his throat.

The doors to the Nightclub were thrown open and four individuals in full black combat gear stormed into the Nightclub. Their helmets concealed their faces, but the insignia on their helmets made it all too clear who they were. The insignia was a circle of yellow, and centered in circle was a bold green triangle with the white letters 'CD' in the center of the triangle.

"Civil Defense everyone to the basement now!" They ordered while they threw tables and chairs into the doors and windows.

"Stay away from the doors and the windows! Move move move!"

The Sith turned his head at the sudden shuffling on the other side of the room and instinctively reached for the short cylindrical object at his belt. His cybernetic eyes narrowed on the Aschen at his feet. Minor injuries. In shock. Alive. Afraid.

Yes. Afraid.

Lord Barlek could feel the man's terror from being exposed to the horrors of war. From the earth-wrenching thunder of orbital weaponry to the ionized air of a blaster, it took either a heart of ice or a decade of experience to get used to the carnage.

The man had drawn a weapon, and the Sith merely smirked beneath his helmet. With a twitch of his forefinger the gun would be ripped from his grip and tossed across the room like a toy.

"I am not here to kill." Xalgan said in his heavily modulated voice. "At least... Not right now."

It didn't take long for Civil Defence to arrive. Gerard nearly melted into jelly on the spot from relief, but something in him stayed solid. Perhaps it was his unconcious friend and newly acquired hot lady friend, but he didn't have time to think about that shit. They were telling them to hustle.

"Good t'hear," Gerard remarked to Xalgan, gesturing for him to move with them to the basement. He dropped to Braxton's side, who moaned pitifully. Gerard grimaced, yanking his friend's arm over his shoulder, pulling them both to a stand. He then looked to the girl, she said her name had been Alisia? The had to get to the basement, and fast!

"Quick!"

Storm-Shadow walked through the woods slowly, taking deep breaths as he did. He was, as always, covered in his Ereb Nano-Suit and had his weapons with him.

As with most soldiers, super soldiers in particular, he was...mentally unstable. However he was worse than what most other soldiers experience, for he also had a side of him he had no control over. He had been trying to gain control of it for almost a year now, and has had no luck, until a certain researcher came and started helping him.

But it still wasn't enough, not yet anyway, as his Draconic side fought to surface itself and destroy everything around him. In order to stop himself from killing anyone if he did turn, he had left the Ereb compound without permission, and was now far enough away that he could go on a full blown rampage and not hurt a soul.

"Stay calm James..." he muttered to himself, keeping his external mic turned off in case someone was listening. "Just...take deep breaths, you're better than this." he repeated this to himself over and over as he now stopped and leaned his back against a tree and sunk down so that he sat at the base of the tree.

Every five seconds or so a spark of lightning would come into existence around him, forming scorch marks on the tree and ground around him. Eventually he stood up again, and began to pace back and forth, trying to keep calm. This did not work, as he eventually lashed out at a tree, his hand now suddenly a claw as it cut straight through the tree with ease.

After the tree fell he stood there, breathing deeply. "Don't loose control. Don't loose control..." he muttered to himself.

A low hum pierced the stillness of the night.

As the super soldier sought to relieve his aggression through meditation, a lone speeder zoomed through the forest. It darted between the trees with an almost unnatural agility. The rider was cloaked in shadow, and was clad in a suit of full body armor that was as black as the deepest reaches of space. A black sealed metallic helmet concealed his face. Flowing behind him was a long black cape that gently grazed the ground. Across his waist were several compartments and other metallic gadgets.

The speeder stopped abruptly in a small clearing. Lord Barlek lifted his wrist and tampered with a device on the wristguard. A small map of the area materialized in the form of a blue hologram.

"It should be around here somewhere..."

Storm-Shadow stood motionless now, back straight, head lowered slightly, arms hanging loosely at his sides. His eyes were closed, his breathing soft, but deep at the same time. After a moment he opened his eyes, and glanced at the motion tracker on his HUD.

There was something just out of range of his suit's scanners. He then looked away from the HUD and sniffed the air gently, picking up whatever scent he could. Nothing. Whoever approached him had the wind on their side. The super soldier could still hear though, and he heard a muffled voice along with some sort of...hum.

As Xalgan operated the map and sensor interface, a wave of cold air passed over his neck like a chilled breath. His hair stood on end and his body froze. The Sith slowly rotated his head and scanned the trees with the infrared lens built into his helmet.

His gloved hand reached for the small cylindrical object at his waist. He could feel something - or someone - there... watching him. It unnerved the Sith that he had been detected first.

"Where are you..." he whispered.

The clouds soon blocked out the sun overhead, casting a very dark shadow long enough for Storm-Shadow to disappear within it. After he had vanished, the cloud moved away, and the Sith would find nothing but the feeling of being watched increasing steadily as the super soldier moved through the realm of shadows. He soon got to where the Sith was, and stopped at the edge of the shadows, not fully existing in the normal realm, but existing enough for his voice to be heard.

"You shouldn't be here." Storm-Shadow's deep, intimidating, computerized voice rang out from all the shadows around the Sith. "It isn't safe for anyone to be here now." he added before stepping out of the shadows before the Sith.

The majority of his right arm had already transformed into a more Draconian State, and the suit had molded to it. The clawed fingers looked like they could cut through just about anything with ease with a good swipe. And if the Sith was not careful, he could be the one getting swiped at.

With a twitch of his forefinger, the cylinder flew from his belt and into his waiting grip. The end erupted with a crimson light and sizzle of ionized air. Xalgan gripped the lightsaber tightly in his gloved hand as he glared at the newcomer through his helmet.

"Then you obviously do not know who I am..." he replied in his own modulated voice. Lord Barlek looked at the mutated arm and back at the super soldier. "I can feel the unbridled power flow through you... Your fury... like fire... Burning in your soul. The Dark Side reigns strong in you."

Storm-Shadow raised an eyebrow as he saw the lightsaber spring to life. In response, his mutated arm went up to his back, and grabbed the hilt of his katana, and slowly pulled it from it's sheath. As he did this, bolts of lightning sparked around his body.

"My fury?" he shook his head. "It's not mine, and it isn't like fire. It's more like..." a bolt of lightning cracked in front of his face, and he didn't even blink "Lightning..." He then seemed to yawn and the lightning bolts ceased.

"It matters not who you are, even I am in danger. That's why I came here, so I didn't hurt anyone. I don't care about a dark side, or anything like that. I've no use for it."

The katana now hung at his side in his mutated hand, the blade inches from the ground. He raised his left hand to his forehead for a few seconds. "Please, just leave now...or I might not be able to stop myself..." he asked, though his tone was mainly calm, it began to waver.
