--- Name: The Creature(s] name and its Origin are somewhat typical being do to the 'Region' she had came from. Originally the Harpy was from the Tropical Oasis or 'Nightmare'known as Madagascar, her Mother(s) nest had been discovered by a Group of Explorers and like a bunch of ignorant bigots they decided to take a few of the somewhat oddly colored Eggs back with them before the Mother returned- sadly all of them but one failed to hatch, and that one is the Harpy we all know today.
At the time Harpies where considered a pesterous do to the more predatorial ones snatching both people and animals on a nearly regular basis, and because there was so many existence. (To the point where people where required to do 'population control' and kill them on sight, similar to the incident with 'Slaughter Fish' which where ruining fishing companies seeing they weren't edible and...killing every other Fish in the Channel with them|Hostile|Vicious.) They would 'Name' the Species before abruptly pawning it off to an Exotic Pets Trader, which eventually ended up with her being transported to the Sands of Rinza and being placed on Sale in a Local Market. She was then purchased by a 'Traveling' Merchant who intended to make profit off the Creature, albeit if he could successfully 'train' it he could sell it for a 'Higher' Price to someone who desired an Exotic Pet, rather then ending up a Feather Coat at a lower price- the possibility of 'breeding' it with one of the Area(s) Local Harpies and creating a future line of exotic pets was entirely possible, anything for profit really. She was amply named 'Yaffa' which is Hebrew for 'beautiful' do to her colorful Feathers.
--- Age: The Harpy had spent a numerous amount of Year(s) in the Deserts of 'Rinza', most of them which happened to be a 'traveling companion' of the Merchant who had purchased her, at first he intended to have her be nothing more then 'profit', albeit either to pawn off to a Exotic Pet Owner or attempt to breed her with the areas local species. However it ended in an odd relationship between the two forming, as the creature began to grow up, she started to come off as more 'Human' do to her time being spent with Merchant. Eventually she would begin to pick up on word(s) by simply watching him, as well as 'tricks' to being a trader- albeit signs to when one can 'convince' another to pay a little more or perhaps when someone is trying to scam you. Of course the Merchant took notice of this and decided to utilize the Creature instead of just pawning her of for profit, seeing with another who can 'vouch' for him he's more then likely able to make a sale- so from there he would treat the creature somewhat better then he had initially, rather then having her learn from 'watching' he attempted to 'teach' her... from there it would lead to her eventual joining of the Merchants Guild and becoming her own Merchant.
She spent a few months in Madagascar, a year on boat, and then a few weeks on the Market of Rinza, from there she would spend a good nineteen years with a Merchant who ended up becoming like a Father Figure to her and eventually another ten on her own as her own 'Merchant'. This making the bird a total of thirty years in age- or 30 years old.
--- Species: To keep things somewhat 'sweet' and 'to the point', the Creature is a 'Harpy' of the Tropical Region known as 'Madagascar', her 'Native Species' is known as the Sun Sparrow Harpy do to their wing and tail feather colorations, the tips and upward seem to go from a 'bright orange' color to a darker red and eventually a smoke like black or gray- at first they where known as the 'Flame Bird' but after discovering that they are strongly related to the Sparrow Harpy their names where changed accordingly.
To be specific, the creatures coloration is relatively close to 'fire', the oranges represent the 'center' of the flame while the reds represent the outer, while the grayish blacks represent smoke- though their names where changed to 'Sun Sparrow' because of how far back their 'bloodlines' seem to go, it seemed the Local Civilians in the times of Old believed these creature(s) to be descendants of some manner of 'Sun God' and had worshiped them. Anyhow do to being related to the 'Sparrow' Harpy they are placed under the 'Safe' Categorization, the only thing they could be remotely harmful too is Fruit, the creatures don't eat any kinds of meat and their diet consists of berries and fruit, the most their feet are used for is nothing more then perching and basic ground movement|walking.
--- Personality: Yaffa is a very Spontaneous and Enigmatic Creature, she often does things on a whim and her actions are somewhat impossible to understand. When one thinks they got an idea of what her true intentions are she often sends them for a whirl or makes their 'heads spin'. The Harpy is energetic, boisterous and a bit of a deviant|flirty- she isn't afraid to 'play rough' and often seems to be like a 'live wire', she also loves to flirt with 'Cuties' and can often be seen making moves on Guy(s) she deems attractive, of course when it comes to being a Merchant she puts such over her own Personal feelings, after all she can't make exceptions if she intends on making a 'profit', the last thing this Merchant needs to do is lose money because of her odd cork filled personality.
In short, she's hyper- fun loving, and willing to 'play rough', she loves to flirt and prefers to do things randomly or on a whim to keep her life interesting. She's glad for the life she was given, and grateful she could become a fellow merchant. However she isn't found of the lacking in terms of species equality.

And all Harpies used to be labeled as 'Dangerous Baby Snatchers', so people practically went around murdering us even though we Sparrow Harpy aren't remotely harmful! They even ate us without realizing- 'Oh hey, their insides are relatively similar then ours' Humans are so stupid...
