Distinctive Markings & Scars: An assassination attempt gone wrong three years ago left Yamaha heavily disfigured when her jaw was forcibly removed from the rest of her skull. Managing to slay one of her targets in a final desperate attempt, and gravely wounding the other, she limped back to Little Shintenchi only to receive a harsh greeting. Though Nomura allowed her life to be spared in spite of her failure - her very first failure at that - but showed little mercy otherwise. He ordered her prosthetics be metal only, and no synthskin to remind her.

Tattoos: Like most of her family Yamaha views tattoos as sacred, earned medals more than just art, unlike the other Red Dragons however, she has little reguard for the traditional symbolism of the Taiyou underworld. Instead the sleeve on her right arm sports a melting pot of designs, cobbled together from various, more Terran-style artists and methods. This break from tradition is allowed by the good grace of Oyabun Nomura alone, and is entirely contingent on her extreme skill.
