After coming back from a 'trip', she became very changed. She became more extroverted, violent, and very very cold hearted.

History

Much of her early history is unknown. She acquired the Title of the 'Iron Shadow' after the death of her Husband, Shinsui Utawata who died a couple of years after they were married by Assassination. He was a prominent man standing against the corruption of the area's government. The Iron shadow is a formidable enemy. It has never been said if the Iron Shadow's gifts come from magic or some other other worldly force. But someone who has been deemed the iron shadow has the ability to control shadows at will, even making themselves a shadow. The Iron Shadow is mostly known for shadow armor, which is a covering of shadows that have the strength of steel, but the flexibility of cotton. The 'wearer' is made to be nothing more than a humanoid figure. Facial features are no longer distinct and gender appears to be neutral.

Yang Itawatsu strode over to the front door of Gambits. She pocketed one of her hands in her jeans and pulled the heavy wooden door open with her free hand. Once she stepped insides, she gave a swift look around at the crowd. Busy place for it still being so early in the day. She tucked her other hand into her jeans and walked over to the countertop that served as the bar. She found herself thinking of the trivia behind why a bar was called a bar. Quite a funny thing to think about the 1800s in the 21st century. Yang sat down on one of the bar stools, silent as ever. She had no intentions of getting into any trouble tonight. That's what usually occurred in a place like this where everyone has the desire to abuse their powers. Using them on debatablely innocent bystanders, kill, maim and destroy. Didn't it ever get old?

Yang sighed and closed her eyes, reaching up to scratch her face with one of her nails in order to free her face of a horrible itch. Once she took care of it, she nodded for the closest thing to a Bartender this place had. If it didn't have on on duty, she'd have to apply for a job position for full time. This place looked like it'd been through several brawls and it was a wreck. Not to mention the lighting was typical of a bar too. Hazy and a generally unhealthy looking place. From where she was sitting, she scanned the contents of the alcohol rack behind the counter. Nothing incredible there. Maybe one or two bottles of Top shelf Vodka and Tequila and some scotch and whiskey and red wine, but nothing incredibly... different. In her opinion, this place needed a serious face lift.

Yang Itawatsu scoffed slightly with a small smile coming to her chapped lips. No bartender huh. She sat up straight and hyper extended her back a little to stretch and pop her back. She was pretty tired. Everyone in the bar seemed to be enjoying themselves though. That was usually a good sign. Yang tugged at her hair which she had pulled high into a ponytail. In fact, that's usually where her hair usually was. She only took her hair down for special occasions. This wasn't one of them. She reached up her billowy half sleeve of her shirt, rubbing the back of her right arm before proceeding to do the same with her left arm. It was a little awkward feeling right now to be sitting in a bar unaccompanied. Her husband hadn't even died that long ago. She was slightly disgusted with herself. However, with no one tending the bar, she pushed herself up and over the top of the counter and landed behind it. She got a closer look at all the alcohol supplied here. She was right, a lot of it was crap. "Huh, Wonder who I'd have to talk to about purchasing this place," she said inwardly with a small laugh. She took up a bottle of white though that appeared to be good still and uncorked it. She pulled up a wine glass and poured a little into it and taste tested it. Immediately she had a reviled look on her face, it had turned to vinegar! "Better to cook with than to drink," she said, setting it aside and cleaning out her glass. She then opened a couple of other bottles until she finally found a bottle of Merlot that didn't taste like crap and wasn't turned to vinegar. She set and labled the spoiled wines, setting her glass down when Pearls sat down at the counter. She figured she'd have to be the surrogate Bartender in the meantime since she was already behind the bar.

Yang Itawatsu sighed softly and then much to her dislike she approached Pearls and Laces. She kept her face to a bare minimum of emotional expressions. She strode over to them while still behind the bar. She rubbed her upper lip for a second before she spoke. "Anything I could get you two?" she asked, keeping her voice a dull monotone. Hopefully that would keep her from entering any kind of conversation for now. The asian let her black eyes look over the two, then past them and into the crowd. She waited silent to hear the answer of their orders so she could properly get them what they desired to drink.

Yang Itawatsu had to bite her lip to keep herself from making some sort of crass statement. But she knew this place catered to people from all over, they would find a use for Pearls. "I'm sure it would be plenty all right," she said. While she was waiting for Laces' order, or lack there of really, she poured Pearls a Glass of Melot. She picked the wine for the woman because it seemed like it would fit her tastes better than sweet wine. She filled up a glass three quarters of the way full and then placed the glass and a cocktail napkin to put under the glass in front of Pearls.

Yang Itawatsu blinked at the collection. She really didn't know what to do with them, but she took them anyway without a fuss and managed to put them in the cash collection where they belonged. She sighed slightly and put the cork back on the bottle, waiting until Pearls would want a refill. Then she heard Laces' request for a 'white beer'. Who'd this guy think he was? A comedian? She had a frustrated look on her face for a moment as she realized he was talking about a pale ale. However, just the way he worded it gave her license to screw with him. She picked up a beer glass and then filled it with nothing but white beer foam, no ale in it at all. Not until the foam would go flat and even then that would only be half a glass.

Yang walked over to Laces and put the glass of nothing but 'white beer' in front of him and walked away. She waited to see if he would notice, crossing her arms over her chest and scoffing slightly. She brushed a few stray strands of black hair from her eyes and then returned her gaze out to the crowd. Self serving bastards, all of them, she was certain.

Yang Itawatsu couldn't help but let a small smirk cross her features. She yawned and then realized there was an automated unit for the bar that was just offline. She hadn't slept for two days. So she decided she'd turn the machine back on and then tell it what to do before she took up her room key from behind the counter and wander on up to bed. As she walked behind Laces though, "That one's on me," she said with a mild tease as she leaned into him for a brief second. After that, she disappeared up the stairs to go catch some sleep that had been avoiding her for a while.

Yang Itawatsu was watching everyone from the shadows of the corridor that lead upstairs. She was leaning in the doorway with her arms crossed and her eyes half closed, looking at everything through her long lashes. There was no real need for her yet. The bar didn't look too busy as the robotic tender managed to deal with a lot of of orders. Yang gave a long sigh from her body, finally deciding it was rude to linger in the doorway and slipped inside the room.

She made little to no eye contact with anyone. She didn't want to give the impression that she had looked at someone wrong and thus start a fight. No, it was too soon for that here.

Yang kept to herself and sat down at the bar counter. She'd yet to make herself anything, so it would be pretty good if she started out with that. She gave a slight look around the room, spotting Laces but made no motion of greeting. Yang coughed after some spit ran down the wrong pipe, but that didn't last long. "This is going to be a long day," she said inwardly.

Yang Itawatsu pretty much just came out of the wood work here. She came down from upstairs and immediately began to take care of things at the bar since no one else would. It was usually a good way to avoid being spoken to. Just as she walked behind the counter she heard a request for Hot Tea. Without another word she put an herbal tea bag into a mug and poured some hot water from the spickit in the back. She placed the hot tea in front of it's requester and stepped back.

Thankfully, all the sour wine she had found prior was taken away. To where exactly, Yang didn't know. She gave a throat clearing cough and leaned back against the countertop behind the bar that held onto everything. She remained hidden in the shadows until someone requested her presence or someone ordered something from the bar. One way or another, she was the current bartender.

Yang Itawatsu received the order for beer. Blast these people who weren't specific! Yang looked over Cassandra, trying to determine what kind of beer she would like. The female sighed and then poured a draft wheat beer and set it down in front of the female with napkin underneath as the head on the beer spilled over a little. Yang's tattoos were visible tonight, so the Koi that were there tended to dance around in the light with every movement. Yang didn't wait for payment as she expected it before the patron left. Busy place it always was. Yang sniffed before turning to the side to sneeze.

Yang Itawatsu looked over at Kroger Haggai, "Feel free to seat yourself anywhere you'd like," she said. She then walked to the end of the bar that Kenaji was sitting at. "What could I get for you?" she asked him, leaning slightly on one leg, her weight anchored on it. She awaited the man's response while she also listened for any one else who required her attention.

Yang Itawatsu slapped the top of Machnaimh's hand. "I'm here for a reason," Yang spat, her eyes narrowed. She sighed softly and crossed her arms. "What is it that you want?" she asked, sighing.

Yang Itawatsu sighed softly. "Alright then, sit down and I'll get you what you want," she said. Yang bothered to smile at the other female. She did hear the call for Whiskey somewhere too. She got Mach a glass of ice water and then a glass of whiskey soon went to Keiru. She only used the best stuff she could find in this place. Once the drinks were dealt with though, she returned to the shadows to yet again remain hidden until she was actually needed. But, certainly, that wouldn't be long. In fact, it wasn't. Pearls soon walked in and she quickly set out a glass of Merlot for the female, the usual.

Yang Itawatsu didn't waste much time. She was quickly learning the favourites of various members of the bar's regulars. She put a Pale Ale out for Laces and went about making sure that everyone's drinks were filled up to where they were supposed to be. She coughed slightly and then returned to her place behind the bar where she leaned back into the shadows, the light brushing across her Yin and Yang Koi tattoos, making it seem like they were moving with every twitch in her arm.

Yang Itawatsu yawned boredly since it didn't appear to be that she was needed anymore. Once everyone got their drinks, they were usually happy and completely forgot about how they got their drinks. Another day of no one paying, except for that one girl who gave her a five, and being completely ignored. She shrugged, at least she didn't have to talk to anyone now. She rubbed her eyes and then she looked at Kazen that just strode into the bar. "You've gotta be kidding me," she said, crossing her arms as she had a narrow stare at the irishman.

Yang Itawatsu leaned back against the bar since her services were not required at the moment by anyone. She closed her eyes, her arms staying crossed as she proceeded to fall asleep standing upright. It was a talent she had procured after a long time of training. It always made her seem to be on alert, leaving it to be where she appeared to be a threat at all times so people wouldn't try to mess with her. Yang let herself sleep as no one needed her. Though, if anyone did need her, such as ordering another drink, they would merely have to shout for her. Yang wasn't a heavy sleeper.

Yang Itawatsu woke up upon the order for Tequila. The current bartender grabbed the Tequila and a shot glass as well as the necessary parts for taking a shot of Tequila and put them on a tray. Since the man that had ordered it all had already traversed the room and was sitting down already, she took the tray over to Alex Crow. "Here you go," she said as she set the tray down and put the items on the table in front of him. "Anything else you need?" she asked, just to be polite.

Yang Itawatsu blinked slightly. Judging by the fact the male didn't respond to her, she shrugged and returned to her place over at the bar counter, taking her tray with her. There was something that was just so... boring about the way she was. She never really spoke to anyone, so she often felt she shouldn't be somewhere. Yang shook her head though and went about tending to the various glasses and other table wear that needed cleaning.

She cleaned glasses until they were spotless and put the glasses away in their collection. She finished with the tableware too, making sure they were polished into perfection. Nothing but the best for her customers even if the patrons of this bar did tend to treat the bartender rather much like shit. Didn't anyone get that they were supposed to payfor their drinks and not steal them? Yang finished everything finally and scratched away a stray strand of her black hair from her face. It was a wonder this place was still open with all the irresponsible patrons that came in. She was starting to consider making people pay up front. The Japanese woman was soon drawn to the Nazi Officer. "It's not for sale," she replied gruffly, throwing her towel over her shoulder after wiping away the rings of condensation.

Yang Itawatsu huffed and then took the payment given to her before she bothered to get him his alcohol as requested. She looked back at him as she pulled the cap of the bottle off and poured it into a glass. "Just as I said. It's not for sale," she said as she put the glass down in front of him. Her black eyes were staring at him intensely, her brows furrowed.

"Believe me, I already asked," she spat. She found more places where there were rings of water on the countertop and began to wipe them away with her towel. She even cleaned some broken glass off of the counter that the prior bartender had been irresponsible in cleaning up. Her shoulder that was covered in the koi of Yin and Yang twitched as she moved her arm to clean. This bar still had a disgusting smell to it. She had her goals of working her way up from the bottom to owning this place. It would be long, but she had the makings to do it just fine. Of course, that wasn't a statement she'd tell the SS officer.

"What would you want with this place anyway? A place that is constantly filled with monsters, children and whores?" she scoffed. Indeed she was a sharp woman, she was looking at the male's face to see how he'd react to her demeaning the value of the location. Yang tossed the cap and bottle of the beer the Nazi had ordered and threw them away. Anything to get rid of any possible weapons. She coughed slightly, not sure if anyone else was watching the situation.

Yang Itawatsu gave a hard glare at the Nazi for a moment before she walked over to Aisha to procure her order. "What can I get for you?" she asked as she kept her peripheral vision on the blue coated Nazi.

Yang Itawatsu waited for Aisha's drink request, but all the while listening to the offer as proposed by the officer of the SS. If the Riffraff was taken out of here, the place would certainly stand a higher chance of not getting blown up again, but without them, this bar wouldn't exist. Even just being the bartender, Yang knew that. She finished wiping down the counter finally, picking up a few glasses and putting them in the sink to be washed as soon as she had the time.

"I'm not sure you quite understand," she said, noting that this man had many Sociopathic qualities already, "Without the trash that likes to float through here, this bar wouldn't exist with how many times it's been blown to shreds. They do make them pay for damages. Even though we do tend to keep spare tables and the like around, it wasn't too long ago that Gambit's was nothing but a hole in the ground." She then coughed again, this time almost sounding like she was sick.

Yang gave a slight clearing of her throat before she washed her hands and then proceeded to wash glasses that she had put in the sink. The japanese female scoffed lightly. "And what of your men?" she finally asked, "Would they like to be associated with a place of absolutely low standards? Even if you do manage to get this place out from under me, you're not going to be able to scrub free its reputation."

Yang Itawatsu sighed softly and then filled one of the cleaner glasses with ice water and put it in front of Aisha. She placed a napkin under it before it could leave a ring under the glass in condensation. Yang scratched at her forehead in her mild irritation as she stepped away from the young female and went back to looking at the blue coated Nazi. She was still waiting to hear what he had to say about her statements towards the bar.

Everyone knew that the bar management sucked, but so far she hadn't been able to talk the owner out of the bar, trying to get them to sell to her. Perhaps the price she had offered wasn't high enough. Greedy bastards. She just hoped that this wasn't going to turn into a blackmail situation in some way or another. It wouldn't be hard, after the death of her husband, she had become a little easier to sway towards something that was more self serving.

Yang Itawatsu sighed in relief as the Nazi man had left without warning. One way or another, she was glad he was gone for now. She rubbed her eyes tiredly, this was just a little too much for one day. She narrowed her eyes as she scanned her eyes all over the bar. She then noticed the Ninjas that entered. "Great, amateurs," she commented. With her arms crossed, her tattoo twitching as her muscles twitched under her skin. The bartender walked over them and leaned on the bar with an unimpressed look. "Something I can do for you boys?" she asked, arching a brow as her eyes remained dull and uninterested.

Yang Itawatsu looked over at Kazen and Lexia as they approached the bar counter. She decided she could ignore the amateurs and she walked over to the two. The girl certainly looked like she could use something to eat. The japanese woman approached them after they came to the counter completely. She arched her brow at Leilani. "I can just smell the sore temperament from that girl," she commented inwardly. She brushed her black hair from her face and let whomever really of the trio to come up to the bar and order from her.

Last thing she wanted was to get caught in the middle of that little love triangle. She leaned forward onto the counter in her consuming boredom. She was almost wishing the Cold Hearted nazi would return just to soothe that irritating feeling at the back of her skull that would not leave her alone. Yang gave a rude yawn, not exactly wanting to show manners as it would keep her from getting involved in stuff she shouldn't. Bitches did tend to swarm the place though, so in hindsight, maybe it wasn't such a good idea.

Yang Itawatsu laughed slightly at Lexia. She could see right through the girl, trying to hide her emotions. Yang made no mention or motion of them though. She then procured a burger with fries and all the trimming from the kitchen. She placed it in front of the female and Kazen. "Don't worry about it, for her, it's on the house," she said in regards to payment.

Yang then heard the call for a Duergar Vodka. "Glass or a bottle?" she called back to the male that had called for it. She brushed away her hair once more and then shuffled through the bottles of vodka to see if she had the requested item.

Yang Itawatsu was completely ignored as the bartender and is therefore a little ticked. "I just don't seem to exist around here, It's a bar, not a serve yourself liquor store!" She shouted the last part, beginning with 'it's a bar' at Lawless. She gave a hard glare at the male before she descended back into the shadows of the back of the bar, her hand coming up to cover her face in a head shake and face palm. "I'm almost considering selling my soul to the SS to get rid of the jokers," she said with a small growl.
