They took ten decades longer than the laziest race in the Multiverse to design spaceships hardy enough to transport a majority of them off planet, and they offered one thing to the black space of stars and planets; Crime. If it could be bought, sold, fought over, brewed, built or illegally filched, the Scythians got into it.
A common Scythian can be described as really, really ugly. With four arms, backwards legs ending in cloven feet and any number of various robotic augmentations. They also usually stand between six to eight foot tall, and rapidly moult and change as they age.
