Description
The Covenant of The Elohim
The Covenant of the Elohim was created to safeguard the basin of fos which contained the visions of The Elohim or the Brotherhood of Light. This illuminated the world in the fashion they experienced, with the basin providing the structure to see the physical manifestations in the world and the watery essence provided a source of feelings. They were aware another plane existed but their creators vision remained blind to it preventing it from manifesting.
The covenant itself was bound in light as they each agreed to an eternity of guardianship.

The Elohim remained blind to the shadow realm , but it was the covenants job to be aware of it and to do all they could to prevent the darkness below from penetrating through.
A small rift opened when the covenant expressed their concerns, which in turn manifested and Theia was sent to deal with it, using her light illusions to dispel any trace of shadows. The situation was far worse than she had expected and whilst she dispelled any traces of shadows, unbeknownst to her she had been implanted with the first seeds of fear. When she returned to the covenant her mind began to stir and she became fearful of the situation, causing the seed grew in strength beginning to warp her mind.
A year passed, a testament to her willpower, before fear overpowered Theia and the Illusions began. Illusions manifested from the seed presented her with the vivid and warped consequences of a world in which the basin of fos remained protected.
She became frenzied and used her light illusions to bypass the other members of the covenant pushing the basin off its plinth.
The Elohim’s vision shattered as they saw Theia for what she had become, corrupt and shadowed and the world shattered with it. Shadows emerged in the world and the basin of fos lay broken into seven pieces onto the floor of the room.
The rest of the covenant emerged from their illusions to find they had failed, and to watch Theia’s last attempt at forcing herself from the shadow. She was overcome with fear, in the wake of her actions, and with no strength left she was lost. The Covenant that remained watched the shadowy figure disappear into the shadows of the room with a small piece of the basin. They named the form Achlys, bringer of the night, and with the knowledge that the basin could be used to manifest, they surrendered themselves to redistribute the remaining pieces of the basin across the stars. They knew with the small piece of the basin missing, Achlys would be able to use the fear harvested from their world to create unimaginable monsters.
Now with the basin scattered the covenant are divided and on the search for new members to help put the shadows to rest.
