A Historian is an expert of history; especially that of a particular time, place, or event. We want to make sure the multiverse isn't just this big jumble of stories, a ball of string, a seemingly impermeable mass of posting history. It's a tapestry waiting for the world to behold.

So, what exactly will The Historians be doing?

The Historians will be tasked with reading and interpreting the literal history of The Multiverse, as we've created it together. Each Historian will take on becoming an expert on a given location. Some locations have an overabundance of activity, in which case multiple Historians will work as a team. They will learn the history of the place, determine major events and key characters, group activity into arcs, and aid in the overall organization of the Multiverse, for the benefit of existing and future players and readers. It's going to take time, patience, research, and communication; The Multiverse is worth it.

If you're seriously interested in becoming part of The Historians, create a character and post a link to their profile here. Feel free to make any character of your choosing, but be sure to include any preferred locations you'd like to work with in the character's profile.

What to do: Seek out and explore some of the more popular areas and reference some of the lore that you find with your character's actions. Document your character's notes or thoughts in character, then later aggregate them into an Arc that others can read.
