"Alright boys and girls you all know why we are here." Spoke Lenu "Our orders are to explore this old mine and find out if it is of use to us. Veru and Llyia your squads will stay here and set up base camp as well as guard the entrance. The rest of you are with me."
The two squads left behind started on the camp as the rest of the army marched into the dark mine.
"This mine is well built ma'am so far no signs of rot or decay." Reported a Wingly.
"Good" replied Lenu "I want four scouts and a mage up thirty feet ahead of the main group should you run into trouble call back on your communicator."
The scout group went ahead but it wasn't long before a small beep was heard. Lenu pulled out her magic communicator which to any other race would look like nothing more then a shiny white stone. "Report." Lenu ordered.
Over the communicator a voice came, " Ma'am we have come to a fork in the path you should probably check this out."
After a short walk the main group caught up with the scouts. Lenu examined the area for a few moments before saying, " Checkpoint one will be set up here get on it boys and girls."
Meanwhile outside the mine the camp began to take shape tents and defenses being set up for the Wingly army.
Lenu sighed " Very well... Split into two groups and explore the rest of the mines...I want good news when I get back"
Lenu pulled out a small blue Stone and after muttering she vanished from the mine.
The sound of stone scraping stone echoed down into the mines. The mountains almost seemed to vibrate as slowly the head of the Colossi rose to the horizon off in the distance. Obsidian eyes caught the pink light of the clouds, surveying the mountains as still the Colossi upwards did rise. Soon he was visible from the citadel. Long arms extended to support the Colossi as for the first time in Ages he stood up. His hands were still firmly planted beneath the earth. It would take a while to see it from down in the Capwell Mines but a head would rise to breach the clouds on the horizon.
There he stood. He glanced over far to the east, swept his gaze from there to Valley of Dorant, a strange place of recent history that was a popular destination for those who liked to go hiking and never again return. There, the Colossi frowned. A pulse of Gaia's magic grew stronger somewhere in the mountains as well. The floating mountains hovered a little higher again as Gaia's blessing was accepted elsewhere in the mountains. The head hovering over the horizon focused it's attention to that spot. The remaining foundation of a town on the back of his left shoulder was made visible as the Colossi turned, dust rushing through the mountains as Ni'Thorne moved. The Capwell Mines were thankfully exempt, the cloud wooshing over them and passing the downward spiral by.

There was a great explosion, a might boom echoed through the mountains and ricocheted around the valley with it's noise.
Two quakes followed as two sections of the massive leg of Ni'Thorne fell to bring a final fate to the mountains at the border of the Whispering Woods.
As they made their impact a cloud of dust and debris began to rise up through the mountains and roll through the valleys. Again, Capwell Mines was spared the dust.
The rains had stopped as well, and the clouds slowly began to clear.
