Setting

New Dev Eru
New Dev Eru, chosen for its centralized location, and rare in the inner ring uncolonized status, is a desert planet in a fairly small solar system with only two other planets. It is about twice the size of earth, and has about 3 times the gravity.
A single day lasts 29.27 hours and a year lasts 390 days. The planet is made up of 11 continents, which make up 81% of the planet's landmass. Water is plentiful in underground reservoirs, though little water or life is apparent form the surface, with much of the Erutin infrastructure and people living underground.
The plantlike organisms on this planets are largely low to the ground, with trees and wood being rare, though some forests do exist nearer to the poles. Native animals tend to be small in size as well, though some larger ones are found nearer to the poles.
The New Palace is in the northern hemisphere, and while it still lies in the desert, it is in a more habitable region. Much of the above ground life occurs closer to the poles, though there are no settlements in the trees, due to the need to maintain the forests of the planet.
Major exports from this planet include sand, diamonds, and quartz, along with more synthetic materials in the form of nanocloth, which the underground communities produce in abundance. Imports include food, though thanks to advanced hydroponics systems, the planet is largely self sustaining.
Major cities are: Rautuin, Kalkola, Niskos, Helingby, and Hevosoja.
Maliki didn't normally come into her apartment, but she trusted the creep enough to know that he was prety much the only one allowed to kill her. Sometimes, stalkers were useful.
Though the woman was still ill. Molly frowned in remembrance. She's had to bother someone about looking in on her fiance, to make certain Lorn was comfortable and had everything she needed.
But no. She had wanted to come to New York, and joined MCU. Somedays, Molly regettd steping out the door that led to her family. This was one of them.
Pushing open a door at the top of the stairs, opened onto a shorter flight of stairs disappearing up into the darkness. Flicking on the flashlight, Catherine continued onwards without waiting on Molly. She wouldn't force the girl to do anything she didn't want to do, although she could be very persuasive at times.
In short order, Catherine reached the top of the flight of stairs and set about searching for the ever elusive light. Once the light had been turned on, the space was revealed to be small and rather dusty. Despite all the modern conveniences in the home, this was the one room that was neither heated nor cooled, and at the top of the house in summer it was slightly stifling side.
"Molly your going to have to learn to accept the fact that some of us begrudgingly accept more modern things and their uses when with those who are part of the seen world. It's part of blending in." Catherine explained as she spied a trunk nestled into a corner.
"Is there anything we're looking for, or are we just poking aroudn them to see what catches our eyes?"
"You've at least thirty some odd years to adjust. That is if something doesn't kill you first." Catherine remarked offhandedly.
She pulled out a trunk, and turned the key left in it, opening the box open and smiling at the sight of books! Books! This was wonderful.
Catherine could with almost utmost certainty date what was within the trunks to a particular year or decade, after all much of it was hers.
Reluctantly the college student turned MCU agent put down the books and moved onto another trunk, this one containing lots of smaller boxes in it. Boxes. In a box. She was already annoyed.
Catherine had tried to distance herself from that particular incident, and tried desperately to make amends, and to set things right. Unfortunately the fifty years of time she had lost, caused even greater a lack of faith in her on the Council's part. "I get back to London, and someone else is running the show. Damned angels... they're too hard to trust."
"I did get this nifty cloak." She admitted. "And this...it looks for the world like one of the asian sailor school uniforms. Creepy little thing. Very short skirt." Almost indecent. She could never imagine wearing it. "I had a couple of hem, but most had longer skirts than that one."
She opened one of the small boxes to reveal a beautiful ribbon choker, with a cameo on it. Lovely. "I think this is full of jewelry. I just found a necklace."
Spotting yet another trunk, this one much older looking, with it's simple leather and brass bindings; Catherine suspected she had found what she wanted. "Any particular color you detest Molly?" She asked as she opened the trunk. Inside lay lace edged gowns, silken ribbons, and delicately fashioned shoes.
