Setting
It is said that a horrible pokemon was banished here for a massacre that took place on Ruula. It's name was Giratina, a legendary ghost and dragon type that has been labeled the anti-Arceus by some.

It was mocking him, he knew as much. It knew he was drifting into insanity. He couldn't let it get the better of him, but........the whispers........oh, the whispers, oh how they hurt. "Old fool." they whispered. "It's hopeless, I'm not going to let you find it, why should I? I'm just going to let you drown in your own misery, N'tuk. I'm going to watch you degenerate into insanity, because it amuses me."
"MY NAME IS NOT N'TUK!" He screeched in response. "MY NAME IS GIRATINA!" he swiftly regained his composure "You.........you can't do this. You're breaking every law set by the code. HE will find out soon enough, and he shall not be merciful."
The whispers laughed. "Ha!" they said. "Arceus? I am ready for him. He will burn because of the misery he has caused me. I have power now, power beyond your comprehension. I told you before, I am being sponsored."
"Sponsored by who?" Giratina demanded.
"Someone who, like me, wants to see Arceus and his false empire burn." they replied. "It's a pity that you aren't joining me. Arceus has caused you just as much misery as he has me."
"I forgave him long ago." Giratina said quietly, half to himself and half to the whispers. "Mark my words, tyrant, I shall find what I am looking for. Then I shall get out of here, and I shall warn the Hand."
"And that's why I am not letting you leave, N'tuk. Besides, even if I did, why would Arceus and his hand listen to you?" the whispers snarled. "Murderer......"
"WE ARE ALL GUILTY OF THE SAME CRIME!" Giratina screeched at the mist. "I shall not let you DEGRADE me in this manner. I once ruled here, but now you do. I have no qualms with that, for that is what the code dictates. But what you are doing........is not natural. I shall stop you. Even if Arceus won't listen to me, I shall find those who will. Humans and pokemon alike. I will take up arms against you AND your mysterious sponsor. You will NOT get away with this. NOW LEAVE ME TO MY MISERY!"
The whispers chuckled. "You will not prevail." They mocked. "But very well, I shall leave you alone. For now. Farewell, N'tuk." And the mist dispersed. Giratina continued on. He would find what he was looking for. Then he would make this tyrant pay.
"Don't even try it, N'tuk." the voices whispered from the shadows once more.
"Piss off" Giratina yelled at the gathering mists. He didn't give a damn about what the piece of filth that was keeping him here said. He swiftly glided towards the veil, and leapt....
He hit the veil, but it did not part. His head hit it with a painful crack, and this shockwave sent him flying back the way he came. Two blobs of shadow matter erupted from the slight tear Giratina had caused, and they fell to the ground with him.
Giratina lay on the shimmering stone, unmoving. Groaning, he twisted his head weakly to one side, towards the two shadow blobs.
The whispers laughed. "Don't say I didn't warn you, N'tuk." they mocked
The shadows began to shimmer and reshape themselves. At once they became two snarling wolflike creatures with blood red eyes. Giratina stared in horror. The tyrant had broken one of the most important rules set by the code; that only one type of pokemon could reside within the Distortion World, and that pokemon was Giratina. Also, Giratina had an immense phobia of these particular pokemon, and the tyrant knew this only too well, for he had read Giratina's mind.
Snarling, the two Mightyena raced up to Giratina and began to savage him with darkness - enhanced claws. Giratina could not move, a combination of weariness, pain and fear froze him to the spot. All he could do was scream, and he did so very loudly indeed. So loudly, in fact, that the sound rippled across the veil.......
Ty was many things, but he was not big on abandoning other. He knew better than to do something so atrocious. The world around them was a nightmare landscape. Kurt, he knew, might end up frightened.
"Let's...just...grab this thing and get out of here. I'm not sure how much I can take..."
High above, a long-bodied winged serpent let out an unearthly scream as it flew past.
"Guard me? I can crystallize this, while we're here, but this place isn't safe." It wasn't a spell he could do when not in a realm completely saturated in chaos magic.
"T-Ty...whatever you're doing, make it quick. I can't hang on for much longer..." Kurt fell down to one knee, trying to stay ready for combat as his eyes suddenly became bloodshot, then healed just as quickly. He just prayed to whatever god ruled here that he wouldn't fall through the rock he was resting on to his destruction.
He moved to help the other up, scythe in his hand once more to tear into the barriers between the worlds. "Come on Kurt. The tear is super close. Just a few steps and you'll be through." Sometimes, the boy forgot how taxing his home realm was on others.
"Pull me through if you must. I have strength enough to hold onto the crystal...guh bluh BLARHHHHH!" Kurt managed to vomit up a greenish-blue substance from his mouth and nose. "H-hurry, please..." He was dragging his feet, but that was literally all he could manage at this point. A crystal he could handle. His own body's weight, not so much, even as the magical protection around his body began to flicker rapidly, like it was a sprite in a video game that had just taken a hit.
