Setting
It made small chirping noises at the name. The Styracoxamos began moving in his direction. They made low grunting sounds, barely acknowleding him in their search for food.
There were little one following behind, they were babies. They were the size of dogs and followed behind the adults.
The ground shook in brief sequences as something huge began approaching. It was a small group of Sentinelxamos, a large sauropod with large back spikes. They were feasting on the trees of the forests edge and across the plains.
By Lirens feet was a nest of eggs. These eggs were easily the size of grapefruit and were totally unguarded.
It would seem he wasn't the only one with that idea as a small creature was already raiding the nest. It was a strange species of Xamoyan Baboon. It was attempting to steal one of the eggs.
It let out a surprised and pained sound as it impacted with a nearby tree. It looked at him and made a sound like a snake hissing, exposing its very big fangs.
It continued to display its aggresive behavior before suddenly retreating into the woods. It wasn't scared of Liren though, the mother of the nest was back. It was a very angry mother Xamatosaurus Rex, it roared loudly in his direction and showed off its massive jaw full of sharp teeth.
It was in pursuit of him for a while, its jaws snapping loudly in his direction. Once he was far enough away from the nest it let out a loud roar before returning to its nest.
The Flizard had hid inside his shirt during the whole ordeal. It was just as terrified of the whole ordeal.
There was a slight sound of impact at his feet. A grass scorpion was attempting to sting his shoes to no avail.
It displayed its front claws as an act of futile aggression. It scurried away into the grass after failing to scare him away.
It was quiet for now, the silence only broken occasionally by the herds of dinosaurs making sound in the background.
