Setting
If that didn't connect, or even if it did, he'd swing his katana at it's legs and roll to the side so hopefully the werewolf would continue going and he'd roll past and to safety.
It shook its head focusing its bloodshot eyes on the one that had hurt it. It was more than sport now-- it was personal. The werewolf coiled every muscle in its body, throwing itself at Alfred.
With that much mass moving that fast it would be a miracle for Alfred to dodge.
"A little more help here, Jaeda." He said through bared teeth.
Retrieving the crossbow from her side, Jaeda took no hesitation in aiming for the creature's knee joints and firing an arrow toward both. Hopefully, they would hit, and the beasts knees would buckle.
The bolts, however, made a difference.
One of the bolts missed, but the second plunged directly through his left knee wedging between the bones making up the joint. Unfortunately for Alfred if he didn't move the wolf's jaws would clamp around his leg.
