Setting
The landscape of the island is quite interesting. One edge of the island is littered with towering mountains, providing a natural defense against invasions. This geographical wall surrounds half of the island. Small rivers are sprinkled throughout the landscape. In the center of the island lays the city of Eden, the main point of life and commerce. The land which is under Eden's control extends a bit further out from any sort of habitation. Surrounding its border is a heavily guarded series of checkpoints gates. Only one road escapes Eden City and splits into a fork, one leading to the dock and the other traversing a long stretch of land and a rusted bridge to reach a portal into Wing City. A worn line runs down the width of the bridge, signifying the extent of Eden's defences and the grasp of Eden's god. Both entrances to the island are heavily guarded, along with a naval force that is deployed across the Islands shores. Yet, even these arent the most formidable of Eden's defenses. It is said that Eden is watched over by the one true god, the creator of all. He's ever present, helping to cast away much of the effects of magic and other mutations on the island's grounds. Only a small group are blessed enough to have their magic unsurpassed and unguarded by the island's deity.
