Camael [color=maroon]made his way slowly along the grassy ground of the forest, glad to be away from the hustle and bustle of the bar and its loud, often idiotic patrons. He sighed quietly, a sound of peace and calm as he allowed himself to relax; something the fallen angel barely did, and yet even here is a scene of tranquility he was reminded of his damnation.

The chains rattled loudly in the silence of the forest, somewhat ruining the effect of the bird song over head, the quiet crunching of leaves underfoot, however Camael would do his best to ignore his bonds, if only for a few minutes. As he reached the border of the forest he blinked out onto an open field, a ghost of a smile coming to his lips as he rested his back against a nearby tree, his hand moving to shift aside his ash-colored wings that had long since lost their life.

"This is... Nice." He said almost softly, a tone much different to his normal harsh and defensive one, but when people were alone their true selves came out a little, Camael was no exception.[/co

Annastasia Ojike sighed softly as she knelt in the grass, plucking a small lily into her hands then gently setting it behind her ear. The sun beat down dully on her thin dress, shimmering around her perimeter with joy. Anna, however, rarely felt the experience of joy, rather she constantly basked in shyness and fear.

Her mind was lazily trotting when presently the sound of rattling chains disturbed her, and she looked up suddenly to see just where the noise was coming from. Her eyes met the escaping form of a strange man curiously, then refocused on the grass beneath her feet. "Well," she whispered to herself. "That was odd.."

Asimov Zelazny found himself thinking about it again. That color, black, the color he hated more than anything else in existence. It surrounded him now and it often did when he traveled, along with a crushing weight in the pit of his stomach. He was used to the feeling now, but he couldn't stand the darkness. With a retching feeling, the world exploded in front of him as he suddenly appeared on the edge of a forest, falling to his knees. The light was bright and hurt his eyes, but it was better than black, pain was better than black. He opened his eyes and saw the grass under his hands, grasping it tenderly with slight curiosity. "What?... The ground is completely covered...", he commented.

Kylan perched upon the broken stump of a fallen oak with knees bent and his form squatted no more than a few hundred yards away from the second inhabitant whom recently just portaled. He buzzed to himself as he studied the drapes of leather and sewn onto the leater were a variety of pouches. Nothing in the pouches of course but a few pieces of rattling metal in all but 3 of the pockets. He levied the weight of the belt in his palm and moved his grasp from one side to the other, yet he still remained puzzled. Fortunately his tough times should go unnoticed for his posture also concealed most things. His back was turned to the other fellow, and his choice of darks and blacks in appearal helped conceal him among the dark trees that casted shade over themselves.

Asimov Zelazny released the grass and lifted his head, sniffing the air. Something was in the air, something unfamiliar. He rose to his feet and continued to analyze the scent. His long blue hair blew wildly in the wind as he turned slowly. Wearing a garb of tightly clasped leather and buckles, only a fur loincloth could have been considered clothing. Nearly every inch of his visible body was covered in tribal tattoos and scars. He continued to sniff, raising his nose in the air, a single fang protruding over his lower lip. It was plainly visible that he wasn't human and exhibited many animal traits and behaviors. He knelt slightly, looking up at the sky, tilting his head slightly much like a curious dog.

Kylan sighed heavily and discarded the belt to one side with a fierce hurl. His frustration built and he scampered off the tree stump, across the fallen tree before him and landed on the left side of the tree. There, hidden from horrizontal view by brush was three slain adventurers. Those deceased was Alreck the noble and two of his fine accomplises. One who even practiced the dark arts of necromancy, his title was not so glorious for he was wanted for failing to rightfully practice a ressurection in his home town. "Bah." guttered Kylan; eyes gleaming at the fine thrust he made through the man's chin and into the tree on the reversed side. He approached the corpse whose eyes were still widened and the face pulled back as if frozen in that horrible moment. "Your pathetic chimes and bone offerings won't save you there..." he muttered, as he got even closer still. He looked not into the man's glassed eyes, but down the deceased's open mouth.

Kylan + by now Asimov would surely be picking up on the scent of blood. Human blood. As Kylan pulled himself away to loot the party.

Asimov Zelazny had indeed smelled the blood, but its unfamiliar to him. He heard Kylan throw the belt and speak to the corpses, his ears perking with the sudden interruption. He leaped down onto all fours and lowered himself down close to the ground, slowly making his way to the edge of the wood. He stopped at the edge of the taller grass and looked through the blades at the form moving by the log. The scent was bolder now and it only increased his curiosity of the creature. He let out a sort of "Chirp", like a rodent and ducked his head back down as if to see how the creature reacted. He was beginning to excite, flicking his tail like a playful feline and sneering, baring his fangs. He was new to this plane and its inhabitants and really wasn't sure what was coming next: Play, fight, attack or mate. Being an omnivore but evolved from a carnivore, it could very likely have been the scent of blood causing this behavior.

Kylan crouched down again but only this time to shuffle through a napsack dropped beside one of the dead. His arm was buried into the back pulling out what he thought felt like supplies he wanted. *grunt* "Can't fight, but can hunt.." he uttered pulling out a steak of vension. His back stiffened and his eyes glanced all over. what was that? he thought, the chirp still echoing in his ears. Unfortuantely being from another plane very very similar to this one, made him restricted to senses beyond the adverage human. He looked down briefly to draw a dagger from his side and lowered it slowly into the bottom of the sack of food. Doing this all of course with the best attempt at discresion. He looked up now, and observed.

Asimov Zelazny watched at the creature up righted and looked around. It had obviously heard him and Asimov slowly raised his head again, noticing the smell of the steak that now permeated the air. He completely forgot that he was supposed to be hiding and sniffed openly at the air, chirping again. He made a soft clicking sound as if begging and perked his ears again. He knew he smelled food now and his stomach was overpowering his brain, this happened often with him. "Reesem?", he asked aloud. He immediately ducked, realizing he had spoken aloud.

Kylan bared teeth in a wide grin. "There you are.." he uttered under his breath. His hand tightened about the concealed dagger's handle but after a few secs observation, he loosened up. His shoulders sunk some as his back released its tight grip. He transfered his weight to his downed knee as he smiled on watching the blue hared critter. He now noticed that in his other hand was still the vension that was halfway from being transfered from the party's share to his own pouch he had stowed away on his back. Looking back up from the treat at hand, he stared at the brush and let out a few short whistles; to get it's attention..

Asimov Zelazny lifted his head again, hearing the whistle. He wasn't sure if the creature was luring him out into a trap or being friendly. His stomach wanted him to go on and his brain told him to stay. He sat up and knelt on the ground, looking at the creature. "Ril roo-ayk... Reestee?", he asked slowly. Lowering his ears, he could still smell the meat. "Ril zeeg-lah...", he spoke to himself quietly.

Kylan pondered for a moment, what a strange creature to be speaking.. Course, all animals communicate, but through barks and chirps alone this creature does not. "Treat?" he spoke, hand rearing back some and swinging the food lightly to and fro. Quite unlikely will it eat from his hand and he knew that, but he could only imagine the mental battle the critter is having, afterall it hasn't done anything but suggest hunger.

Asimov Zelazny tilted his head and rose higher. "Treat...", he repeated, thinking to himself. He tilted his head again and asked the man, "Dogi-tsah. Ril roo-ayk?" He hoped that the man was peaceful and had no idea what treat meant, at least not yet. He had an odd ability to learn rather quickly, being able to learn languages through a few sentences and body language. "Shorah...", he spoke, greeting the man, guessing that since he used a singular word it was most likely a greeting of some kind. He sniffed the air again and stood up, showing he was in fact the height of a full grown man, but exhibiting the features and behaviors of an animal.

Kylan qwirked a brow at the returning question. "Come on out." he said with a lighter tone. Rising when the creature rose, his height pulling his hand and the dagger out of the satchel. He didn't grasp the dagger too threateningly, sorta just rested in his grasp. He studied the creature for a moment, taken in a little that this wasn't just a big headed ferret but something that holds its own on two feet. He too tilted head side to side, looking for weapons or anything else he'd find an interest in. He stood upright now, dagger disappearing behind a lengthy piece of robe that draped over him. "Hello there." he muttered, feeling a bit uncomfortable. The thought kept crossing his mind that out here nothing is friend or foe, but in some way its survival of the fitest. He felt this beast would attack at any moment, yet he played coy and still offered the steak.

Asimov Zelazny responded with one word, "Out?" He felt a little calmer as the man stood up but the momentary flash of the dagger caused his hair to raise slightly as he clicked threateningly. "Roo-ayk! No out!", he shouted, backing up and taking a defensive posture. Completely ignoring the greeting, he stared at the mans eyes. One of his hands was pulled back as if reading to throw something.

Kylan recoiled at the sudden sounds and yelps and redrew the dagger in his own fashion of defensive posture. The dagger was low but tucked close to his face for good forward strikes, if necessary. His other hand balled a fist and curled back for blocking. His breathing went heavy but controlled. Eyes glearing over his two hands and back at the creature. "Wait." he clashed out there, his free hand showing open palm again.

Asimov Zelazny warned the man, "Ril heek! Boroo-ayk!" He looked at the dagger and twitched the fingers of his attack hand. "There heek! Heek out!", he spoke nodding at the dagger. Although his hand was empty, the tall grass beside him was beginning to scorch and turn black, a few blades setting fire like long matches. The whole time moving his sight from the dagger to the man eyes and back again.

Kylan "arg.." he muttered below his breath, as he shifted his body weight around while he scootched just a little further back. He watched as the heat rose in his opponent's hand, and he knew then he was charging some sort of magical attack. Then again, magick doesn't need to be charged if there's enough eve or mana to use it. He looked to where the creature's eyes kept vanishing to. "Don't like the dagger eh?" he spoke through partialy closed lips. That's too bad.. he thought, as he collected his defensive posture still and taking a quick glance to his routes about him. 3. he thought. He now could smell the ash and heat and curled his nose at it. "Well?.."

The half blind female was wandering through the area, seeking fresh air instead of hanging around the dimly lit Bar back in the city. With her hand on Renblade, ready to protect herself if need be, Isis slowly walked through the forest. She was a little apprehensive, afterall, she could hear the echos of battle somewhere. "Everywhere I go, everything gets weirder and weirder," the young woman remarked, then climbing a tree for her own amusement. She lept from tree branch to tree branch, watching for anything at ground level.

Asimov Zelazny snarled and clenched his fist as the heat could be seen visibly, distorting the air around it. "No dagger! Don't like!", he growled. He was learning rather slowly he thought and was beginning to think he would actually need to attack. He heard something in the distant forest and hissed, causing his hand to burst into blue flame. He was now afraid that there were more creatures like this man coming to attack and backed away slowly, his hair stiffening like quills. "No wait... no out! Don't like!", he tried to convey his frustration and feelings.

Kylan squinted his eyes as if it was going to help him better understand the situation. Sure the creature didn't like the dagger, but he didn't like the idea of loosing the dagger and gaining a fire ball. He snapped his head back to see what the creature was snarling at, but heard nothing. He did though, see birds swoosh for the skies as if something startled them. He rifled his head back to the blue haired blue fire wealder. He didn't get jumped when he looked away.. That's a plus. His eyes gleared the rooty floor of the forest for something red and tender-like. The steak was pretty much in the center of the two. "Treat?" he repeated, as he lowered his posture to the ground and withdrew the dagger to hide it below clothings again. He was still almost just as effective in this position, but looked less threatening. "Treat?" he repeated, remaining still.

Asimov Zelazny turned his gaze solely to the man and glared at him till he put away the dagger. He relaxed slightly as the flames dissipated and he knelt to a similar level. "Treat? No treat.", he didn't understand the word and was more focused on defense than his hunger at the moment. He continued to growl quietly at each of the man's movements as if warning him to take it slow. He continued to look over the man's shoulder at the trees, occasionally watching for the sounds he heard.
