Hawks HUD comes to life as the admiral was transported into the room. "No Idea, but I'm ready to shoot anything nasty that comes through that passage way." He said his hands still on his dual blaster pistols.

Cryoface sighed. "All right. Rick says we're clear for now, but I'm leaving this door open in case something else happens. Everybody out." With a few warning screeches, the door opened and the captives of the bunker were able to resume their daily lives.

"The Undermarket's pretty much what you would expect, from the name. Underneath our feet, a little network of twisting alleys an small concourses where you can find just about anything." Taking the lead down the stairs, Jegun peered around the dim room, studying the labels on a few dust covered crates.

"Basically a bit of a black market, right here in Wing City. My organization runs out of there, in another bar. Security there is fairly easy, just a couple of large wraiths keeping an eye on things. One of the door's is around here somewhere." Glancing back at Gabrielle, the man's eyes almost seemed to glow in the dim light. "Any particular reason you wanted to know?"

Turning back to his perusing, he tapped a finger on one particularly large crate, finding the hatch and flipping the lid back. Holding his light orb over the dark box, he smiled when he saw the contents. Barrels, charge packs, spares for old Cryo's defensive turrets. Getting them back up and running would be fairly easy, and the man knew a few people who could make some upgrades to the systems. "Other than all that, it's a bit of a rough place. Even if they cleaned up Wing City, it's always smart to be armed down there. And good old Cryoface, leaving this right where I remembered."

Gabrielle glared at the stairs of the basement, still not completely sure why she was actually going down into the pit of the beast. Well, if one was going to run Gambits, like she was supposed to be doing, then it was obvious that checking out everything to make sure it was in tip top shape was her job. If that meant she needed to go downstairs, well, then standing at top like an idiot wasn’t going to solve anything. It took her a minute or two to realize he was heading down already and so, she quickly followed behind him, trying to listen and walk at the same time. So, the Undermarket was like the black market of some sort? Well, that made a lot of sense and was probably where her father got a lot of his specialized weaponry and other things that were quite rare. In all actuality, that’s probably where a lot of people received their unique items. Maybe she should head down there and check it out. There might be something for her; something that would help keep her safe.

Obviously her father knew it was down there, which meant he had a lot more secrets than she realized. Did her mother and Renée know as well? As always, she was the last to find something out and like always, it irritated her immensely. Stepping off the final step, she quietly moved around the basement, attempting to figure out what was in the different crates. Wait, did he just say wraiths? Blinking, she peered over towards Jegun, noting the fact that his eyes appeared to be glowing in the mostly dark environment. Yeah, that wasn’t creepy or anything.

“Well, I guess since I’m running Gambit’s now, I might as well know what all goes on inside, outside, and beneath it. Might venture down there myself and see if I can find anything of use there. Maybe a new shiny weapon of some kind or something. I wonder if Cryoface will come back to work… he seemed nice enough.”

Gabrielle popped the lid off an unmarked crate, peeking inside. It appeared to have parts to something, but she couldn’t tell just what the pieces belonged to or if they were meant to combine into something all on their own. Sighing, she dropped the lid back down and tried to locate some bulbs to put into the basement light sockets to make the place as bright as it used to be. After nearly tripping over several smaller boxes that turned out to be marked private, she crouched down on the ground and opened up the one closest to her. She soon regretted that decision as it turned out to be personal items of her mother. Closing the box back up, she glanced over at Jegun with a sigh.

“So, what happens security wise with you? Do you stand around like a bouncer? Or are you like somewhere in a room watching some security video feed of the bar?”

"A sort of cross in between." Pulling out a spare barrel, the man held it towards a dim bulb and peered down its length, nodding to himself. "I stayed in the room, acting the part of another customer. Of course after a while of doing it, it was kind of clear I was security, but then Judicarius wasn't around then. No ability to rotate staff, so I couldn't really maintain somewhat the illusion of a bystander."

Placing the spare back in a crate, he glanced around after noticing Gabrielle looking through boxes, before looking at the lights. Scanning across the crates and boxes, he tapped his chin as he tried to recall where Cryo stored some of the more sundry supplies. "Think lightbulbs might be near the back of the room."

"Back then, Cryo had a twisted bit of humor."

Gabrielle was most definitely in over her head, but the sixteen-year-old wasn’t going to let anyone know that fact. She was already going to have enough problems trying to make people respect her as a manager. There wasn’t a need to make it any worse by showing weakness. Glancing back down at the boxes that belonged to her mother, Gabby picked them up and placed them on top of a crate for later. She wanted to go through everything and pitch wasn’t worth keeping, but that wasn’t going to happen until it was as bright in here as it was back in the day.

Shifting her attention back over towards Jegun, she just nodded. Well, it made sense to pretend to be a patron until the firm hand of the Gambit Law was forced to be swung towards whoever was acting like a moron. Wait, who was Judicarius? Was that his associates he referred to earlier? Blinking a little, she started to ask him, but was sidetracked by his revealing where the light bulbs might possibly be. Scrambling to the back of the basement, she managed to trip over another several crates, nearly landing on the ground in the process.

“Ugh, remind me to thank him for his sense of humor. So, will this Judicarius be working security detail along with you? Is there anything I should know before yeh start workin’? Like, no one will be entering through the Underground Market door into the bar, will they? That’s something that I don’t want happening unless it’s you, or of course, me.”

Finally spotting the bulbs, she popped off the lid and grinned triumphantly. Until of course, she looked up and saw just how tall the ceiling happened to be. Swearing under her breath, she immediately began looking for a ladder, wondering if anything was going to be easy or if it was all going to be hard and stressful. Hope springs eternal.

“Know where a ladder is? Maybe I should hire some maintenance people too. Feeeh.”

It felt as though she had slumbered for a thousand years, her limbs where heavy and it was a struggle to open up her eyes. When they finally did flutter open the woman had no clue where she was at, though it seemed to be a dim and cool. Her back was laying on a hard surface and a haze was over her mind, making it difficult to form thoughts and actions, though her body twitched as she woke up.

Alyssa was no longer a child, and her racing thoughts tried to comprehend the newness of her body, how she was suddenly larger than she had been, with power crackling beneath her skin. A thin film of swear matted her black hair to her skull, despite the chill of the basement, and her blue eyes flitted back and forth, trying to make out shapes of things and, perhaps, even people. Cracked lips parted as she voiced words that she could not give sound to, confusion clearly registering on her slight features. She still wore a child's clothing, ripped and dirty, hardly fitting her form, as small as it was.

Obviously this woman was not from this time, though how she ended up in this basement was anyone's guess. There hadn't been a flash of light, or a hazy shifting of the air. No, one moment there was no woman laying upon the ground and then, the next, there simply was.

Despite believing themselves alone originally that was in fact wrong, sat upon one of the casks containing alcohol was a white haired minx, leg crossed over the other, dressed in semi-casual clothes and appearing rather young. In her hand was a bottle that appeared to be Barcardi, and she appeared to be rather savouring, although as soon movement occurred, she vanished and then was immediately in front of Alyssa, "That was, well unexpected, I decided you must be dead. I was like tragic, but I am here to drink and avoid the nonsense of Gambit's. Thus here you are breathing, at least you appear alive, maybe you are dead. Maybe I am drunk as fuck. Or even high, so many possibilities. Well you are alive, so get moving, and quit bothering me, I ain't here to offer you any condolences or such. This is me time, aka bugger off or go play with the traffic. I don't mean in sexual way, just be clear, I mean go lie down on the road and let a car roll over your heid and let it be crushed."

To many Sirad could appear hostile, but then again those who delved further witnessed more, "So, since you are not leaving, what colour panties you wearing?" most would never ask such a blunt question, but Sirad was many things, subtle in how she spoke was not one of them. Nor did she care about social qualms, in her view humans were play things. Unlike other demons she did not get off on torture though that would be believed, no she personally just enjoyed screwing with them literally and figuratively, and whereas she was not a looker at all, in fact she appeared like an emo tomboy, she was rather passionate and lewd. If you could get behind her nature of appearing utterly without care, you would soon learn she was actually rather miserable. Then again she had another name, and that name had history even respect.

The babble that came from the other - woman, man? - flew over Alyssa's head. She blinked, slowly, dumbfounded at the way someone, something, could talk so fast and take another person just appearing in stride. Although, in the world that Alyssa was from, it was not at all strange to travel such as she had. For a moment the woman peered around, her brows slanted downwards. She appeared as if she were looking for someone and, to be truthful, ignoring the words that bubbled up from the other person. Alyssa did not have the best of social skills as a child and, now that she was trapped in an adult body, they were not going to get any better.

"So, since you are not leaving, what colour panties you wearing?"

The words broke the stupor that she was in and a dark blush settled upon her face, turning the flesh red, starting in her cheeks and spreading through her face and down her neck. Her lips moved, soundlessly once more, though this time it was in embaressment.

"Wha colour," echoed in her head and, finally, after a few seconds a high pitched squeak emerged from her lips.

"How could you even," she gasped, blue orbs looking at everything but Sirad, her heart pounding in her ears.

"Panties."

A soft laughter almost bubbled up and out of Alyssa's throat, but she waited for CeCe to laugh first because, otherwise, it could be drastic - but she heard no soft laughter, no echoing screech of outrage, or the stomping of a child's foot.

Instead, Alyssa was silent, red faced, eyes wide. Power crackled along her skin like electricity, sparking from her shoulder to her collarbone and then to her thigh, a quick jolt a cross her body.

"Private!"

Chuckling with cruel mirth she gave a two-finger salute amused by the reaction she had caused and how it seemed to make the girl pause. Unlike others she did not speak normally, instead she said a lot all at once and watched people try to comprehend everything she had said. It was generally great fun to watch, especially as they could not begin to even answer. Gripping the bottle she took a long swig, continuing to laugh, before speaking, "Ah well I'll see for myself." her eyes stared through the girl and immedaitely licked her lips in predatory way, "My oh my polka-dot how quaint and so truly adorable." the demoness appeared behind the girl and slammed her open palm on the rear before vanishing to resume position of before, it happened so fast that it was hard to say it even happened. In fact she was once again drinking from the bottle gripped in hands.

Noting the power she mused out loud, "Well then, a sexy battery, I wonder how much juice said battery has." delivering salacious double-entrendre, she gave a wicked toothy grin, "Nix the lie on the road and wait until car rolls over your head, you are too adorable and blushy to have such a fate. I was little too bitchy, besides how can you not love naive girls who wear polka-dot knickers."

Unfortunately, the woman did see her panties- and polka dotted they were. The child turned woman was so confused tears actually sparked in her eyes, though there was a tone of anger beneath them. A childlike innocence seemed to shroud the woman and, though she was confused and slightly terrified, an idea formed in her head. It was obvious that CeCe, the child Godess whom Alyssa had been given too, was playing a joke on her - just like she always had, just like she always would (right?).

Alyssa turned those huge, wide blue eyes on Sirad and made (probably) a huge mistake.

She stomped her foot, turned her lips into a frown, and scrunched her nose up. It was the start of a fit - like one a 5 year old would throw. Of course, mentally, Alyssa was still 9, the age she had been last time she saw CeCe and -it- had happened, but now she was in an adult's boy and it was about to be rebellious.

"Cece!" She shrieked at Sirad, for that was who she thought Sirad was. It was obvious. She moved so fast. She tormented her, though in a way that she was unused to an unaccustomed to, "I don't like this!" Down came the foot and acrossed the floor sparked harmless lightning. Even if it somehow would touch Sirad it would simply feel like magic- not painful, or good. It was simply energy. The other had it right, Alyssa was, in her untrained, child like way, a battery.

Imagine what someone could do if they harnessed that power.
