Setting
A bar spanning the entire left wall carries every alcohol this side of the galaxy has to offer, and some expensive rarities that serve as attractions for the travelers passing through. There are booths and tables scattered throughout the bar and what music might be playing comes from an internal stereo system. The stage and DJ equipment had long been removed as Gambit’s always was considered a bar, not a club. The roof was also reworked to get rid of the unnecessary rafters, opening it up like it was meant to be. Since the bar was beneath the hotel, the rafters weren’t needed and were a little strange looking. Also removed was all of the self-ordering screens since there was plenty of staff to take not just drink orders, but food orders as well.
A series of nine floors is stacked above, outfitted with rooms and service to accommodate them, culminating in a rooftop vista of the weathered city surrounding the building. While the entire structure isn't entirely invincible, it had been reinforced by Trantor Industries' best technologies after repeated attempts (some successful, and some not so much) to upset Gambit's place of business, presumably as a vendetta against the cajun himself.

Clearly he was from out of town, Spyri took note of the glum guy with the cat. She raised a brow when a waiter presented him with a raw steak. Was it for him or the cat? She sipped down her own drink with a straw, her eyes on the strange man with the cat.
"Er, hello," Spyri tried to stand as tall as she could and not sound defensive, but it wasn't very often anyone made an effort to speak with her. Not here, at least.
"Oh, yes," Spyri gripped the hilt tight for a moment. She didn't sense anything too off about this guy, other than that he was out of town, so she swung it around in front and held it aloft.
"It chose me, and yeah, I'm a fighter I guess you could say. I mean, I train. And I have fought... You said you were a prince?" She kicked out a chair and plopped down. She was a Princess, once, very long ago. Most of her forgot that life.
"I know where you can train," She said, grabbing Cha'tlag and standing up. Not only did she know where he could train, but she knew where there might be help. Spyri didn't, however, want to get his hopes up. "I just came from Master's Dojo. It's real easy to get to it from here. I can show you."
"There's a hotel attached- Gambit's Hotel. You'll have to check back in tomorrow by eleven or so in the morning, but I bought you for tonight at least. Second floor, room 270. The Dojo isn't far. Now, what was it you said was outside?" She had literally never heard of a kili...kilitho...what he said. ”
"Return here later, show them the key, and they will show you where to sleep. A Hotel is somewhere you stay that is not your home It will cost you some gold tomorrow, though. I'd love to see your..." She started to try to say it and then gave up, "Shapeshifting transportor. Is it fast?" On that note, Spyri moved to exit the bar south into the Side Alley.
After a swipe or two with the sudden palm-fuzz Becca sighed and returned with the Leg. That got tossed into a trash bin behind the counter as unlike the rest of the normal detritus she wasn't about to eat it. The dishes often went back mostly clean as the diphanous fuzz consumed most leftovers. A surplus of energy remained as neither her nor ducky cared for her to get tubby even if she'd never get sick. Getting rid of the excess was a still a bit nasty though as she heaved then spat a thumbnail sized gleaming cognizance crystal into a cup behind the bartop with a clink. Much like the chest of the things the Jinhai provided to Gabrielle Becca considered it an addition to sparse tips. Might even be able to afford a fancy wetware coprocessor eventually since the wetware jack was working with ducky so well. Even if it was cybernetics hers was rather bargain basement having gotten it on the down low.
Niku had woken up fairly well rested the next morning, albeit he had suffered a few nightmares concerning a certain Aschen female. He shook it off before getting dressed and heading back down to Gambit’s bar to get some breakfast. The staff, now understanding that he was a raw carnivore, delivered him a whole uncooked chicken. Once it arrived, he began to devour it with a speed and fervor to impress even the most starved of human beings.
"Eat up!" Spyri pointed to the word chi on the paper. It was an ad for an energy training program on a planet far away.
