Setting
“You have the ghost root,” Mylor stated in what could almost be noted as relief. She could not use it yet but when the burn healed, there would be no scarring. “Did you acquire it yourself,” the woman asked while continuing to tend to her wound.
“You should not rely on mages even if they disguise themselves as priest or holymen,” Mylor warned Balthazar.
“I will kill the other spirits and with my own help, if it pleases you,” Mylor said, her voice dropping into sarcasm. “Allow me to take Tycho with me when the next opportunity to strike arises.”
A pause. He was contemplating something.
“Allow me to kill Lerot and take his sword,” Mylor said, “And then you will have one of the seven for yourself.” She cared nothing for the power the swords held. Mylor’s agenda laid elsewhere. Balthazar could have all the swords for all the woman was concerned.
“You send a mage to do my work,” she said rising from the bed in her anger. “It is not his destiny to kill the spirits. It is mine!”
“We do not need anyone else traipsing about and killing the other spirits. I do well enough on my own and I have always come out successful. That priest,” Mylor yelled again while pointing toward the door as if he stood on the other side, “stole what was mine right out from underneath my foot. I was to kill Sha’arish but he took it from me, like plucking a babe from a mother’s breast.”
"Who did you hear this destiny from?"
“I need no man to tell me what my purpose is in this world. I create it myself.”
He moved a few windows over to find the one open just a crack before reaching under and prying it open. He slithered in with her. The room was average, and steam wafted from the bathroom door, the room's owner was in the shower and singing, badly.
Ipecac grinned. "Well welly well, since i'm already on the naughty list~" Insatiable still, he crept to the bathroom door and pushed it open-
The person turned off the shower a towel around them as a green haired girl came out of the shower to see the creature her eyes widening as she screamed. She looked like a tomboy nerd. "Who are you and what are you doing in my room?!"
