The Multiverse

Setting

This is a sealed place on a "Need-to-Know" basis. You cannot get in without permission of Rizu. You can get in easier if you speak with Aki during her many ventures into random places.

Upon looking around, you could see large buildings made from perfectly convenient growths of tree roots and even some buildings built into the sides of the trees. They all looked similar but each front doorway had a little symbol on top to let people know whose home it is. On one there was a Tree in a thunderstorm, another with shining gems in a waterfall, another had a star made of flower petals, and another looked like silvery streaks of wind. There were no actual doors in the entire village, just doorways. Windows were just holes in the roots, carved out. Giggling could be heard as several fairies were just flying around chasing each other and hiding behind the roots and flowers. There were a LOT of houses but most were empty and unused, left that way as a way of mourning the lost. They were still cleaned though. The houses spiraled up the trees and there were no ladders and only a few walkways leading to any of them aside from the ones on the ground.

Upon a little extra inspection the houses on the ground had more detail to them, the area around one house was filled with flowers of all kind and even some of the plants were growing vegetables. Another one had much thicker walls than the others did and even a little root coiling around it as if hugging the home, some singe marks were evident in a jagged pattern. There was a pond next to another of these root houses. Inside weren't any fish and the water was clear as crystal. Few plants grew around one of the houses, even grass barely grew there. What was there was a small tree in a pot and it swayed a lot in the wind. A few more things were different about the other houses but one that stood out was the one with nothing at all, and just a smiley face above the doorway. The houses on the trees had no such detail save for two. The first being an oddly small house, even for fairies, that had nothing but a little white circle on it. The next was a house built directly into the tree rather than on it, it had a symbol of a sun and a moon. One thing about the village would be noted, is that in the "town square" there were little divets in the ground which were presumably seats, all neatly lined up in a 5x5 pattern.

Garl and Aki appear in the village. They appeared in the "Town Square". Just as Aki had said, Garl had shrunk to their size. The trees were HUGE now. Garl was now only 5 inches tall. The grass was well kept so it was cut down to the usual size of what it would look like to a person on the outside. Everything seems to be normal sized until you look at the trees around.

Speaking of around, Garl and Aki were surrounded by the other fairies of the village, and even Rizu herself. To the north, was Rizu, who was of obvious importance to these fairies as none stood next to her. She was given her space while to the other directions, there were many eyes staring at the newcomer.

One fairy in particular, dressed in blue with a little top hat similar in style to Aki's came rushing out into the circle made by the fairies. She breezed passed Garl and hugged Aki tightly.

Eri: "Oh Aki! You're ok!"

Aki: "Well of course, Mommy. I told you she was nice!"

Eri: "Yes....I guess you did."

Interrupting the little reunion, Rizu speaks up. Her voice was gentle and she herself gave off an air of elegance.

"Greetings. I am Rizu, the Goddess of these children. This village is sacred and sealed off from outsiders. One of those children has told me about you. You seem like a calm soul. However, heed my words, if harm comes to this place or these children from you, you will be forced to leave and will not retain memory of ever being here. That is how we have stayed secret from the outside world. Please, child... Do not make me do that to you."

Nobody so much as made a sound when she talked but the moment Rizu finished a voice could be heard, "E-Excuse me! Why is everybody here?"

Within that instant a majority of the fairies scattered leaving the blue one, Aki, a light green fairy who seems to have knocked herself out by flying into a small tree sprout, and a small (Even by fairy standards) fairy, only about three inches in height. And of course, Rizu herself.

What an amazing feat! Garleunatri spun in a circle, looking her new small self up and down. Saliseh bulleted around her as she did so, not understanding the sudden change in surroundings! She grabbed him and snuggled him into her collarbone, moving her gaze skyward. The trees! They were so big!

Garleunatri swept into the lowest of curtsies for Rizu, "Of course, Goddess Rizu. Thank you for welcoming me into your home. I promise, your secret is safe with me!" Garleunatri almost immediately regretted that promise, her instincts being to record all data, all of it!

"Pleased to meet you," Garleunatri curtsied to Aki and the others, "I can't believe how small- or how big- everything is!"

"That's normal for an outsider." spoke the small fairy as she gently shook the green one currently incapacitated on the ground.

The blue fairy let go of Aki and looked at Garl with an inquisitive look, as well as a suspicious one. After a brief look-over, she spoke to the Elf.

"I'm not about to blindly trust an outsider... However, both Lady Rizu and Aki say you're ok so I will trust you...slightly. I am Eriline Sugardust. I'm the general caretaker of the young ones as I teach them how to properly control their magic. Problems here tend to burn up when I'm around."

"Mommy...." whined Aki, "Do I still have to go to school?"

"You do, sweetheart. You don't have to do all of it, but you are to attend my magic classes. Remember the basics of what I taught you?" replied Eriline.

"Uhhh... Fire melts ice?" spoke Aki, hesitantly.

"Exactly. Which is why you will attend my classes in case something goes wrong."

Rizu had decided to head elsewhere and thusly vanished from the scene, her help no longer needed.

Eventually the green fairy woke and flew off before anybody could say anything to her. The small fairy simply turned around to look at the Elf and gerbil thing. "I'm Taki. It's nice to meet you. Please don't let your pet wander. If there is something you need, ask Eri, she knows this place the most out of those present. I have to go now or I'll be late to help Nunally with the tomatoes."

That being said, the small fairy quickly flew off. All that remained were Eriline and Aki.

Spike and Aki had appeared in the village. Apparently they were now in the center of town, formally known as the school, but jus called the sitting area by everybody. Spike would INSTANTLY notice something is wrong. Not only were the trees absolutely humongous, but Aki, the little girl who was barely half Spike's size, was now equal in height with her.

Before the duo appeared a beautiful woman with slender features, average bust and the fairest skin. A thing of note was how little she wore, but a glance around at the other villagers shows they don't wear much either. Soon after appearing, the woman spoke with a gentle voice, but one that also commanded attention and awe at the same time. While she spoke with dignity, her aura felt overwhelming.

"Hello, child, Aki. Welcome to our home. Aki has informed me that you were kind enough to her at that Gambit's place. I thank you on behalf of the village for that. I am Rizu, the Goddess of these children. You now stand inside our village, sealed off from the rest of the world. It may come as a shock to you, but your size has been reduced to that of theirs, just as my own has. This is a sacred place and I would ask that you keep it that way. When you leave, I would like to request your confidentiality on this place as we are isolated for many reasons. Fair warning, child, if harm comes to any of these children from you, your memories of this place and it's residents will be erased and you will find yourself back from whence you came. I do not take joy in doing this so I would plead that you do not let it come to that."

"Hello, Lady Rizu! Ehehe~ This is my home, Lady! Well, my home is the house over there with a smiling face on the door...BUT but but! It's really fun here!"

Many fairies flew around the village doing various tasks, carrying armfuls of berries, catering to flowers also at their size, tending to the pond to make sure it stays clean. Each fairy wore different colours, signifying their magic. There was one fairy, who had no wings at all. Was she even a fairy? She was tending to a maimed bird under a tree. A small and frail looking fairy was being followed around by...flowers? They just sprouted where she walked and when she was far from them they sank into the ground and re-sprouted near her. Other fairies were frantically running about chasing each other playing tag. Aki looked up at Spike, waiting for her to do or say something.

Suddenly, a swirling vortex appears to the east. You can see something appear in that direction.
Garleunatri vanishes into nothingness, but you get the feeling they are heading somewhere else.
