Gargantuan Beastie

A giant beast with an obsidian black exoskeleton and an energy core.
The Gargantuan Stage is a large stone and sand arena, called such as it provides the main source of entertainment for the region. It is round, Colosseum like, and can hold thousands of spectators. There is a high outcropping where members of royalty view events from, as well as address the public from.

Annually, citizens flock from all over the planet for a chance to compete in the Gargantuan Hunt: a tiered competition in which participants must defeat Gargantua.

Gargantua are large multi-legged beings with exoskeletons & an energy core.
"The Gargantuan might not be so delicious. Not all of them...in fact, most of them are not organic. Spinners are, but they have an exterior made of copper. Many Gargantuan are made up of the elements that surround them, with the Core in the middle. Though we do not understand these creatures completely yet, we do know it is not only the Core that allows these creatures to think, move, and do as they wish. We are just not sure, just yet."
