a part of The Multiverse, by Remæus.

Though originally host to the city's numerous art galleries, the south end of the plaza has grown into a hotspot for all things trendy and hip. High-end boutiques mingle with vintage clothing shops, coffee bars, various ethnic restaurants, and record shops. Everything needed to satisfy your inner 'indie kid' can be found here. Hipsterville is oriented around a small sculpture park where aspiring craftsmen and musicians can show off their talents.

Setting

Shops:

A plethora of shops line the cobbled sidewalks of this district, from tribal art and clothing boutiques, to used record stores. Though small business is the primary focus of the commercial end of things in Hipsterville, a few 'bigger' names have slipped in to cater to the area's 'tragically hip'- Terran Apparel and Urburban Outfitters to name a few.

A couple of shops of note are:

The Magpie's Nest: An antiques and odds-n-ends store run by the weredog Eliott. Specializes in cursed and enchanted doodads as well!

Amoeba Records: A new and used vinyl and CD shop with live performances in the back every weekend.

Mavens: A curio-shop filled with taxidermy, oddities and occult paraphernalia. Ouija and mummified cats and candles oh my!

Eats:
Hipsterville's culinary scene caters to every conceivable ethnicity and fusion thereof, and personal creed. Vegan gelato and Korean BBQ tacos, homestyle mac n' cheese and even, for those with the daring and the permit, cultured human flesh.

Table 24: A quaint American bistro and beer and wine bar (they're working on their liquor license) run by partners Olly and Lukas. This place is a favorite of those in Hipsterville, and is often the first restaurant people take newcomers to the area to. The service is great and the food cozy with a twist.

Galaxy Cupcakes: A cupcake bakery that creates delectable delights daily using a variety of expected and unusual flavors and ingredients. Never a dull moment! (owned by Saken or Sato I can't remember who)

Anthropos Beware beware! Not for the faint of heart. This restaurant is located in the basement of Mavens and prides itself on selling quality RED meat. And by red we mean human, cloned, cultured human so nothing is illegal. Its clientele consists mainly of demons and adventurous, qualm-less eaters.

Leisure
Hipsterville is designed and built in a way to enhance and embrace the geography and nature right in the middle of Wing City. The area's epicenter is a beautiful sculpture park, constantly updated with the works of local artisans. For a rainy day, step inside one of the area's many free art galleries, or take in a movie at the refinished Straylight Cinema, an art-deco theater that looks like it came right out of the 50s!

On Saturdays, the sculpture park is host to a Farmers Market where one can by unique gifts and farm-fresh ingredients for family dinners. Most restaurants in the area source directly from here, so you know it's top quality.

All in all, despite the name, Hipsterville is quite the place to be, and presents a slice of otherwise ignored subculture within Wing City.

Or'gaan sighed, removing himself from his perch on the wall. He truly tried to stay out of this fight, hoping Jolo would be able to handle the situation by himself. Of course, the enemy proved more than Or'gaan's kin could deal with; that, and the fact that someone had tried --in vain, mind you-- to kill him.

He rounded the corner, his 3-BB blaster pistol drawn and aimed towards the nearest legionnaire. His finger was quick, and the rapid-fire capabilities of the double-barreled blaster provided unrelenting fire upon the surrounding enemies. He then focused his attention on the female dar'jetti protecting the Sith Lord, targeting her through his HUD, activating the lock-on for his shoulder-mounted missile launcher, and fired. A duo of homing missiles propelled toward her, delivering a highly-explosive and deadly payload.

"Seems you needed me after all," he said, finding his place beside Jolo.

Zoraka, on the other hand, appeared from within the building he had phased through. Deiyi had shifted her and Byron's positions. Between them and himself lay two Mandolorians, both raining their own brand of destruction upon the street. He would more than likely have to take them out if he didn't want them to interfere. However, he took their interruption as a blessing, deciding to stay out of side while they made things a bit more hectic for the enemy.

Thanos was busy with his own troubles. Isra had sprung at him, lashing out and trying to crush his trachea with her foot. He dove backward, avoiding her wrath, and simultaneously withdrew his Cervantes .33 from its holster, firing multiple shots aimed at the Sith's torso, hoping to put her down once and for all.

The Dark jedi took notice of the commotion across the street. Isra Ventra, awake and very angry. Zoraka had a feeling that the gunman fighting her was very well-skilled, but would more than likely prove no match for the enraged Sith woman. Gritting his teeth, he resided to interfere. Conjuring an orb of Force lightning, he hurled the energized ball towards Isra, waiting for its impact.

Flung by unseen hands, Jolo wished he had the bitch jetiise who threw him in range of the D2-X before noting a more immediate problem, via the 360 degree vision provided by his helmet's HUD.

"Osik-"

With a tremendous crack, followed by the sound of rending metal, the truck veered sharply to the side, all pretense of control lost as the impact with Jolo's beskar plated armor tore the hood into a mangled mess. A moment of out of control acceleration, then it hammered sideways to flip on its side further down the road. Groaning from the impact, the Mando barely had time to check his own vitals before being sent skidding, embedded in the now heavily damaged truck, flung forward by the eruption of the thermal detonator catching cannon fire meant for him.

Switching channels, the words he spoke were directly to the commlink in Or'gaan's helmet. "I'm pissed now. You might not want to be in the middle of things, cause the osik is about to rain."

Flicking through the HUD with practiced snaps of his eyes, the Mando triggered the start up sequence to the not too distant Silent Serpent. As the customized Bes'uliik fighter began to start up, Jolo wrenched free of the wreckage, scowl deepening as his jetpack came off his back. Reaching in and twisting it free, he eyed the damaged equipment. Then smiled.

A few seconds later, the jetpack reappeared, slid out from behind the truck before promptly launching like a ballistic missile straight for Deiyi and Byron's little knot, skipping and zigzagging with wild, random abandon. While the attention was focused on the "out-of-control" device, Jolo leaned slightly out, leveling the EE-3. And letting it get just close enough to the pair, fired.

Should nothing else go awry, the jetpack would receive a bolt up the tail, triggering the cataclysmic ignition of the remaining fuel within, thus erupting it in a massive fireball of solid fuel and spinning, jagged shrapnel. Ironically enough, at technique Jolo had used before, so he even had an idea of the kill-range: significantly larger than a trio of frags strapped together.

Thai watched from above as the battle in the street turned against the sith. "Droid take this ship down there we need to evacuate them!" Thai shouted. Getting up she ran from the bridge to one of the airlocks grabbing her saberstaff from her belt as she went. Once at the airlock she pressed the open button and jumped from the low flying vessel. Using the force to cushion her fall she landed near Zoraka. Igniting her saber she lunged for the dark jedi set to defend her Master.

----
Isra threw up a force shield to defend herself from the attack by Thanso and followed with a force blast to stun the man. When she turned around she noticed the orb of lightning and barely dodged it but was knocked off her feet and onto the ground by the impact with the street and received a small shock in return. I'm so sick of electricity. She thought angrily.

The first thing Deiyi noticed was the twin rockets in their direction. The second thing however she failed to notice as the jetpack came sailing in her direction after she redirected one rocket. Knowing that Byron had the other taken care of. The jetpack made contact and sent her flying into and through a market stand, which was left vacant when the fighting began. Her lightsabers --her own and the one she borrowed from Byron-- left on the street as she lost her grip on both weapons.

She was however, she noted with something short of glee. That she was closer to Zoraka. With his attention focused on Isra Deiyi made her move and ran at the man headlong. using the force to boost her strength and speed as she aimed to hammer into him like a out of control podracer.

But she was in control. Complete control of herself, and her emotions. Moving swiftly as she struck she reached out with the Force to pull her fallen weapons to her, but with Zoraka between herself and her lightsabers. That just made it easier as she ignited the weapons, twin spinning unstable orange blades of energy, along with a pearl white blade of equally lethal energy came flying at Zoraka from behind. In essence, the man was just in the way of Deiyi's waiting hands.

But there was someone else watching the fight. Someone with their dark eyes focused on two certain Sith.....

Byron was not foolish or slow as he used the force to deflect the other rocket with ease sending it into a parked vehicle that was labeled for a company that sells Crispy Creams. It was also with great haste that he cast one of his whirling lightsabers in the path of the blaster bolt that was following the jetpack in hopes of stopping it from hitting home. "This is bad. This is really..." Byron found his words cut off as he watched Deiyi get flung off to the side and felt his connection to the flunkies he brought along come to a sudden end as the last one was slain in all of the confusion of the battle.

Byron's ship droid simply nodded and lowered the ship as he was commanded while setting up the systems targeting perimeters for a hostile war zone extraction. With a sudden hum of the ships primary auto cannons and with its rapid descent The Luckless kept its doors open and began to open fire on all enemy targets with rapid succession that some would consider to be a rather vicious attempt at ending the lives of those who threatened to kill Byron or Deiyi.

The Sith Archivist could only smirk as a heavy blaster bolt was sent flying towards the opposition. "For everyone who wants to live to see another day I suggest you hurry up!" Byron shouted as he kept a steady pace on the whirling weapons that kept him safe while he rushed towards his ship knowing he had other goodies aboard in case things seemed to go from worse to impossible.

Things got dire, quickly. Byron's ship arrived, unleashing a swarm of droids that in turn delivered a hail of blaster fire. The situation was spinning out of control.

Thanos was knocked back by Isra after his attempt to gun her down failed. He did take pleasure in watching Zoraka knock her on her ass with a ball of Force lightning, though. Or'gaan watched in disappointment as his missiles were deflected. Zoraka was busy dealing with Isra and her apprentice, then Deiyi came into the picture...

Zoraka was able to easily avoid Thai Vong's assault, sidestepping her and returning his attention to her master. However, things got more complicated when Deiyi was hurled into a nearby market stand. She stood, charging at him, utilizing the Force to increase her speed. She reached out with her hands, as if trying to conjure a Force ability. However, his attention would not be diverted so easily: he noticed her trying to impale him between retrieving her weapons. In moments, he was able to produce a shockwave, pushing back all physical objects and persons within a fifteen foot radius. Windows of nearby buildings shattered, and Zoraka smirked as he waited to see what the three Sith would do.

Thanos regained his nerve, up on his feet once again. He regarded to Dark Jedi with a sense of respect, silently thanking the warrior for momentarily saving his ass from Isra. His gun in hand again, he opened fire on Isra once more.

Or'gaan looked back at the group of combating Force-users. They were of no consequence at the moment: He had to focus on the escaping Force-users at present. Instantly, he opened fire with his 3-BB blaster pistol, seeking to gun down Byron and his legion.

It was time to make her move. With a sudden force shriek the Sith Assassin sprang from her perch towards her target. Her lightsaber sprang to life, the unstable blade sparking along its edge and in its core as the lightsaberpike swung it made something akin to a shrieking noise.

Deiyi brought up her borrowed blade to block as the lightsaberpike connected, for a split second the two fighters were weaponlocked until Deiyi kicked hard and she herself sprang backwards. Holding both her own staffsaber and the borrowed blade she eyed the new comer carefully. A saberpike. Deiyi thought. Master Siya used one all the time. Only, with two blades. When Zoraka threw his shockwave it did little to deter the two combatants.

Deiyi had learned how to fight against a saberpike because her master used one in addition to a single edge, he had made one with two edges on it. For a full minute the Jedi carefully eyed the Sith Assassin before hearing Byron call out. With a glance towards Isra Deiyi turned and fled. Moving quickly she pretty much walked up a wall and launched herself at the open bay of the ship. Rolling as she made contact with the floor of the loading bay of the craft with a loud crashing.

Her current target gone, the Sith Assassin turned her attention towards Isra, and the Dark Womans apparentice. Her true targets. Smiling behind her mask she started running for the pair, Lightsaberpike igniting once more as the Sith Assassin ran full tilt for the two Sith she was after.

At least, that is what she wanted to do. Screeching to a halt as a green blade sprang to life directly before her the Sith Assassin brought her blade up before her to defend as another Jedi stepped into view. The Sith Assassin knew who it was. "Siya" She growled.

"Surprised to see me Kakita ?" Tuyer Siya asked calmly. With him were two Force Hounds, each armed with their own Forcesabers ready for use. "I see you turned from your assigned target. Why ? Go get your assigned target like I requested, I will handle this." As he spoke the two Force hounds sprang for Zoraka and Thanos.

With a feral growl The Sith Assassin said "That woman is no more. It means nothing!" With that she struck, Tuyer defelected and for several minutes traded strikes with the Sith Assassin before she threw something, a smoke grenade, and then she took off. Fleeing as fast as she could, She had a mission. One that took her back to her inital mission giver.

With Kakita gone Tuyer took stock of what was going on and went towards where some of the trouble was coming. With a flick of his wrist the lightsaberpike split into two identical long hilts. he moved towards where the Mandos were. Calling out mentally towards them a question. "What seems to be the matter gentlemen ?" Siya was a good diplomat. But not exactly the best. But good enough for an Arkanian offshoot.

Thai watched as things went from bad to worse. She was knocked back by Zoraks force blast but jumped back up to her feet this was no time for her to faulter now. She was about to spring on Thanos to defend her Master when More beings appeared and began to attack she wasn't sure what exactly was happening but this seemed good a time as any to flee.

"Master Lets go!" She said pointing to Byron and the ship.

------------------
Isra sprung up and began to sprint toward Thai when she noticed Deiyi and the others fighting Zoraka. She wasn't a fan of Jedi but obviously Mor had some interest in this woman and that was good enough reason for Isra to act. "Thai With me." She said extending her hand she sent a burst of lighting towards Zorak and the others and Thai followed suit the two sith began to continue this and move back toward the ship.

"Jedi! Lets get out of this place!" Isra shouted toward Deiyi and looking back towards Byron and his ship.

Keeping under cover, he wasn't pleased that his attempt to down the two hadn't succeeded to full expectations, but striking the one was acceptable. After all, in the time it had taken to prep the jetpack, he'd made one further modification. Placing a tracker.

Leaning back, the Mando checked his HUD for the signal, smiling again as the signal blinked strong, moving. "Gotcha, chakaar'ika."

Now, for the sake of maintaining appearances, the man pulled a grenade from its case, priming it then sidearming it towards the ship. However, this was no pulse grenade. It was a V-6 Haywire, an extremely high output EMP grenade, designed to fry droids and systems...but also charged enough to electrocute organic targets. Peering around the edge as he slipped the EE-3 loose, taking sniper shots at the force users while the grenade bounced once, rolling towards the ship where he hoped it would detonate like the rest, further lighting a fire under the targets.

And any force user unwary enough to think it a pulse grenade like any other.

With all of the chaos that was happening Byron quickly deactivated his sabers and brought them to their proper places and with a single jump Byron made it safely aboard only to smirk under his helm as Deiyi was about to find herself with a few boxes falling on top of her.

"This is no time to screw around.." Byron found himself caught off guard for a moment as something felt off as the force began to warn him of impending danger. Quickly the Sith Archivist turned around with one hand outstretched towards the oncoming grenade and pushed at it using the force in order to put some distance between it and his ship. The Sith felt triumphant as he used his natural abilities but suddenly was flung back by one of the shots from the enemy. Byron clutched at his new wound and gritted his teeth as his armor was able to take most of the impact but still did not prove to be worth the credits he payed for it.

Zoraka could only watch as Byron's ship sailed away. Anger welling inside him, he made a move to attempt to catch the vessel. However, he was met by new appearances; a Sith assassin and another traitor Jedi, the latter of whom sicked a pair of Force hounds on the Dark Jedi and Thanos. Zoraka engaged in a duel with one, breaking off a large portion of the nearest wall in order to smash them with it.

Thanos on the other hand was having to improvise. From his belt he unleashed a telescopic stun baton made of phrik alloy. It was resistant to the sabers wielded by most Force-users, and distributed a hefty electric shock. With this, he was able to stand toe-to-toe with the hound as they exchanged blows. Thanos wielded the armament with grace and brutality, aiming to debilitate the hound.

Meanwhile, the Mandalorians were approached by the newcomer Jedi, armed with sabers. Or'gaan lightly jabbed Jolo in the side, getting his partner's attention, all the while aiming his blaster at the new addition to the fray.

Thai and Isra took this as a sign to leave and both jumped backwards onto the ship. Once inside they found one of the seats and sat. Immediately after this Isra passed out from exhaustion. The battle was long but they had returned but unfortunately for Isra the gunman still had her artifacts. For the moment it appeared the woman was going to be in a whole mess of trouble once she awoke.

The male Force Hound, Gozen, focused on Zoraka, the forcesaber spinning in a blue of energy as the Force Hound dodged to the side of the rubble flung at him. With the rubble out of the way the Forcehound struck the ground and then threw a powerful Force Push at Zoraka with a howl of energy.

The other Force Hound, a female, Myth, was focused on Thanos. The Forcesaber sparked brightly against the ally of the stunpike the gunman used. Moving with speed, brutality and skill the Force Hound distracted the gunman, as it was her task. As her brother, Gozen, was taking on the former Jedi. Her task was to distract Thanos, and steal some certain items off the man. Finally, her task complete, she struck hard at the ground and then threw a strong Force Push at Thanos.

While all this was going on, the last Jedi on the scene. Armed with a very long hilted lightsaber with two blades, remained rather calm on the street, looking directly in the direction where the Mando's were. He did not engage, nor did he try to stop the other four from battle.

++++

Onboard Byrons ship Deiyi clawed her way out of the pile of crates she had landed in. A rather undignified landing, she told herself. She turned as it happened. Time seemed to slow for her as the bolt came into view nailing Byron directly in the side. She dove forwards as Byron fell to the deck, catching him before he hit the floor. She dragged him the rest of the way aboard. Then hit the door controls as soon as Isra and Thai were aboard. The door sealed, she signaled for the ship to lift off and get out while she herself took Byron by the arms and mostly dragged him to the medical bay.

Hopefully there was a Bacta Tank onboard. If not, then she was going to seriously need some food.
