Judas just threw his shirt and tank back on. He didn't feel like dressing to impress if they were going to grab drinks at some podunk little watering hole like Gambits or whatever. At least he got shotgun! He eagerly followed them to the car and gave a slow whistle of approval as he looked it over. "Do I even want to know how much this thing costs?"

The sincere and peaceful view of the mansion at night lured around the air along Luna Street. Cars were parked, the staff had mostly retired and young Calvin was pacing the lush gardens. He kept at an elegant and aristocratic posture, examining the growing floral and trimmed garden work with steady and calm diligence. A soft grin came to his pursed lips finding everything was expectionial and slowly the young man accessed a tablet to take note of this. With another swipe of the device he took an inspection of the surrounding security grid and applied his thumb print to access the The doors in the study.

He would be awake soon, and he would not want to have to suffer locked reinforced doors. Pacing back inside the illustrious manner Calvin took to reflect as he looked at his family's herald. For 28th generations they had served him, for 28th generations he had brought prosperity for their loyal service. He was the last surviving De Richmond whom bore the surname, many had perished over the last few years and they were times when this household felt... empty. Calvin disregarded this notion for now, the young man working his way along the steps until he reached a room of many old books and records. All were contained in security glass shelves, Calvin approaching two of these shelves and applied his hands along them, opening their already unlocked hinges to reveal a vault behind it.

Taking a torch, the young man turned the flashlight on and shinned it bellow stone steps. Closing the door behind him, the young man worked down the descending stone steps for once again... He was soon to wake.

As the moon slowly began to rise it seemed that deep within the hidden vault of CrestView manor there was a bit of a stir coming from some manner of crypt. The inner sanctum had been decorated rather lavishly with tapestries from previous civilizations, and countries that no longer existed.... There were even stone tablets from Ancient Egypt and the like! In the dead center of the sanctum was a large stone sarcoughagus three snames each biting the other's tail on the center of the stone slab that covered whatever was in it, the rest had various other carvings of stories of a monstrous creature that lay within.... but... as the inhabitant of said sarcaughagus began to awaken, it seemed that the slab did move, little by little, inch by inch until there was just enough room for the creature to sit up. With a big toothy yawn, exposin the four fangs that lay within it's mouth, and a big stretch the creature had finally awoken. Though... this creature did't look monstrous... infact... it looked like any other man... except he had unusually pale skin, that was freezing cold to the touch. "I hate this infernal stone box." He muttered in the ancient tongue and pulled himself out of said stone box.

Yes... There stood Lord Nikmir Vladislov, One of the last of the Revenant. For nearly four thousand years he has roamed the earth feeding upon both the living and the unliving. And no family has served him as long as the De Richmond Family.

As he finally awoke from his... grogginess, it seemed that some one was heading Down into the Vault. "Hmm? Is that you Calvin?" The Master called from below. Of course it was Calvin? who else could it be? Wait.... don't answer that.

Calvin Phillipe de Richmond reached the finally step, the young man turned off the simple flash light and took a real torch from the pyre. "Yes Lord Vladislov, it is I." The young man had answered back. The room they were in seemed more like a musuem than a lair, every important decoration and old artifact from tapestry to potrait were finely preserved in air sealed safety glass and other displays to preserve the very old antiquities from disloving to dust. They did not bear the endurance of his master, though some bore his age.

His eyes scanned to the tablets which seemed the most preserved and encased out of everything in the room and slowly the young man accessed the next room where a gagged and bounded vampire was struggling to break free. The creature was at a blood frenzy, stirred and tamed when the young man took a ceremonial dagger and drained the almost inhumane creature before him for the fresh vampire vitate. He drained it into a ancient and beautiful chalice, the month's drink to refresh his master's extremely exclusive thirst.

Let it be said that Vladislov's mere presence here was excessively threatening to the other vampires within the community: Revenants were little better than monsters and most were killed on the spot for how extremely old and dangerous they were... a fact that had caused much misery in Calvin's family.

He closed the vaulted doors as the monster hissed silenced by the sound proof vault. Blood would pump back into his system for next month and in the next month his master would have his drink. "Coming." He granted again as he continued down the stairs further into he reached the lair, his eyes cooly examined his master's posture as he offered him the cup. "Trouble with the sarcaughagus again?" He inquired.[/i]

As his 'companion' handed him the chalice he would take it and drink from it slowly. "Entirely uncomfortable as usual. I much prefer sleeping in my coffin... in my bedroom. Silk lining and all that." he would sigh and finish off the rest of the blood, once he had done so... He felt a beating in his chest once more and his pale skin had turned into a nice, humanly pink and warmth ran through his body once more... The closest thing to being mortal he could get... Too bad it only lasted a couple of days. "Terrible.... terrible nightmares... From the old world again." He sighed and ran a hand over his own face as he had to sit down... His heart coming back into it's normal beating always took him by suprize, thus the reason he placed his hand over his chest. "Funny... I don't remember falling asleep in these clothes." he said and looked down at himself... Which was indeed... most unusual. He was in some rather... strangely designed pajamas... Granted they were comfortable... but he just never remembered buying them.

Calvin Phillipe de Richmond simply complied with a nod of his head as he took a seat somewhat flipping one of the three notebooks he had kept down here as he began to write in french. "I will see what I can do to install something comfortable inside the built in vessel. The original work was built and craved by my Great Grand Uncle Jacques Esteban De Richmond. Designed in the year of our lord 1855. The terms of comfort were alot different back then and much of the comfort has faded in the last century and a half." he complied noting the discomfort.

Along everything else, Calvin was also a very skilled handyman as he could rarely trust any other mortal to do any of the restoration work or construction around this very old crypt. He took a note of what the master confined glancing at his clothes and then back to the few evenings before. "You had a sensual encounter with one golfer Clara Dubec from the Summer Oaks Country Club. You met Ms. Dubec at the bar and after a long conversation you invited her over for wine at the estate and conducted an evening of pleasure and passion. I saw to it Ms. Dubec arrived home safely you must have worn her evening wear by mistake." He diligently pointed out.

The master's mind was sometimes amiss but that was the very reason he attended to him every evening. "Now, you said that you had another dream." he commented as he swap the first note book for the third which was his Master's dream journal. "Would you care to describe it into further length?"

The Ancient cleared his throat when the other asked if he wanted to describe the dream in further length. "The same dream i've been having... I'm back in the Old world... The little village, the one that I told you about when you were still in highschool. I... Killed... Innocent children. I could care less about the adults. but.... Children? I... Hadn't fed in a while... I needed something...but... Why a child? Why did I have to kill a little child?" He said almost tearing up... When the comment of his bedding a golfer female he cleared his throat and sighed. "Right.. Dubec... I just remembered how much I hate golf." he chuckled and stood from the chair. Sometimes he had difficulty remembering what year it was... The memories sometimes meshed together... especially when he had just woken up from a rather deep slumber like he did on this night. "Remind me Calvin, All of my appointments with Dynacorp have been cancelled correct? You told them that i was 'out on a business trip'?" Yes... his usual excuse as to why he did not show up in his lavish office on several occasions. He had started to believe that people that worked for him were starting to become suspicious of his actions. Though when Calvin had mentioned his great grand uncle... Nikmir could only chuckle. "I know who built it Calvin.... I knew him personally." he chuckled. Oh yes... Jacques... One of his most loyal, and favorite servants. Always had something funny to say, even if he did have a rather dark sense of humor.. but hey... so did Nikki.

Calvin Phillipe de Richmond remained the loyal attendant by his master's side. He wrote down in greater detail the dreams that troubled his master. He did remember the story, during a much more stranger and simple time. Lord Vladislov was nothing more but the strange crack in the wall, the voice behind is constantly beckoning to him while his father and uncle would spend their long talks in the study attending to the Master as Calvin was going right now.

"Yes Lord Vladislov, your 7:00 tomorrow night, your 9:00 and the meeting with the chief finical officer about the recent changes to the budget have all been reshculeuded due to the unforeseen circumstances." He noted as he flipped through the next page as he took to the book between the other three books.

"The changes are in your calender." He offered opening to the appropaite page as he resume taking down notes. Dynacorp was a rather extensive firm now, and Calvin had to learn business as much as he needed to know handywork. Being the retainer of his master was no easy task,.

There were many gorgeous estates here.

One was CrestView Manor.

It was to this house the rat would run, letter fastened on it's back. It was addressed to Lord Vladislov, and Calvin Phillipe de Richmond.

In the envelope on the rat contained an invitation .

This street was beautiful, much like it's name.

Ubarum sought blood, the blood of his enemies to be specific. He had heard on the news, heard of the attacks, heard of the elysium. Here he had traced a source.

A small time drug dealer, a kid, slaughtered in his sleep. Ubarum was in and out in his human form, claws tearing through the throat of the pimpled teen. He left no evidence, no hair, no DNA. Only the blood of his victim, and an empty brief case where a heavy stash of elysium had once been. As he exited the window, Ubarum wondered if anything, anyone would try to stop him.

In this desolate city? He doubted it, but did nothing to stay hidden as he howled to the moon from the eaves.

Zii, having been exhausted from her training in Hell, realized she needed a break, and decided to go for a walk outside of it. What better place than Wing City? Except, she seemed to have taken a wrong turn on her portal out of Hell. Damn that Sirad, Zii would make sure she had a long fucking talking to.

Regardless, Zii was eager to do a little bit of detective work, with her old master, Tierge Di Grun. She was formerly tasked with patrolling Wing City and the nearby Society group. But Zii ended up on a....quiet different route. She never anticipated gaining the skills she had, but was going to enjoy flexing them. They werent ALL mastered yet, but Zii would begin to understand more of her niche once she happened upon a window. The window seemed to have been cleverly broken out of, but not into. Which was weird.

Zii was walking down a alleyway, and happened upon such a scene in seconds of coming out of a portal that was supposed to lead her to the Plaza? She thinks she's being fooled, but she would not hesitate to examine the scene. Zii checked to make sure she was wearing he full on gloves, and not the finger-less ones, she didn't want to taint the scene. Having been brought up in crime, she came to learn how to keep from being a part of it. Then again, becoming part of a Black Magic Investigative Organization defeated that purpose....

Zii noticed that there was blood over the floor of the small room, it seemed to be from claw marks or...something vicious. But was intriguing was that there was not sign of struggle, nor any signs of robbery. This seemed to be a very, planned murder. Zii landed softly after observing form the window seal. She was careful not to allow any of her boot prints to be left on the scene, by just casting a simple spell. Zii was quick in her observation, scanning the entire room in seconds, photographically memorizing everything, noting all the small details, form the odd amount of blood left on the scene, to the briefcase. Which seemed to be empty, once Zii looked further. Zii took all of 75 seconds to observe everything before she heard footsteps outside the door across the room. She was not frightened, but she made a swift and noiseless exit out the window. Making a right turn toward another alleyway that was less poor looking and more to her taste.

"This wont be the end...I'm sure." Zii looked at her watch, checking the time. She was going to head toward the Cafe to dig up some answers, after what she seen. She could use a scotch too, knowing it was going to be a very long couple of weeks. Zii sighed, and continued to head toward the plaza, but felt like she was being watched from the shadows. Since this was normal to Zii, she ignored it, but she picked up speed to the Plaza anyways.

A woman's shriek echoed across the night.

Her son was dead. His throat was gone. He never stood a chance. There was blood on her hands, on the pillow, the blankets. It was sticky, palpable, real. She couldn't believe it. She couldn't speak. She couldn't...

The next morning, police tape stretched across the front of the lovely apartment. This was supposed to be the safe side of the city. Far from the chaos and turmoil of the Abandoned Slums, far from the violence of the Arena. This side of the city had trees, and beautiful gardens, government, politics, civility.

She stared through dead eyes out onto the street, letting neighbors pat her on the back, holding fast to her son's deteriorating school mates as they stopped by, heard the news, had to know.

Everyone had to know. Everyone had to know, the cops had to know, but what was there to know? She didn't know. No, there had been no screams. No, she saw nothing. No, she didn't pursue the blood trail.

How was the window broken out of but not into? The cops had picked that clue up eventually, but nobody knew. She couldn't answer, and their questions exhausted her. By noon, the sounds of Wing City fell on dead ears. A mother of a ghost sipped coffee on her stoop, surrounded in friends she never felt more estranged from.

From across the street, through a window, he watched. He felt this pain. He felt this hurt, this suffering. The creature wasn't really there, but he chose to use the pane as his eyes. He paid closest attention to the mourners of the boy.

To the mousy one that stuck around too long. Asking weird questions. Mentioning the bag.

He stopped watching, and was gone. The mother continued to weep.

Zii headed through Liber Street, heading through it to continue on to the Plaza. She was aware of everything along the way. But the one thing she wasn't aware of, was the news of the murder she cam from that morning.

Many weeped, one died. Many mourned, one lingered. Zii didn't know of anything that was happening that mourning, but as she walked, she realized one truth, this was something that needed others looking into. Not just her.
