Setting
He held them tightly in his hands, he had no idea what his opponent was capable of, however he was ready for anything. I wonder who my opponent will be, I was told to meet him here. ”
-=Commanding baritones spoke without hint of emotion; soon the fight would begin.=-Begin.
All the shining, wickedly curved blades hung up for display had caught her attention. Violet eyes glittered, and she seemed to nod approvingly to herself. Very nice. Veeeery nice.
Gina had her own sword out of its lacquered scabbard, point digging into the mat. Her hands rested on the pommel. Save for her eyes, she was completely motionless. Like a child in a candy store, she could bolt at any moment, grab something, and leave.
The slayer was smiling oddly. She finally turned her head - a slow, deliberate action - until she saw another person there in the dojo with her.
"Good afternoon." She called, the corners of her mouth lifting slightly.
She twisted her body and dropped down low. The flat of the blade was so wide that it would have provided a shield in itself should the fellow start firing - but that wasn't what Gina was after.
The slayer was lower to the ground now, one foot turned slightly. Her eyes glittered, and she seemed to be a hundred and ten pounds of coiled energy. At the drop of a pin she could fly at him, with more speed than what even her small frame implied.
"This is better than a half hour of Tae-Bo at any rate." She reasoned.
of ricocheting shrapnel. The blade was enchanted - absorbed force, and had taken much worse than a few stray bullets.ping! ping!
Where the little bullets fell, that was no longer Gina's concern. She had the weight of the blade shifted to her right side. It aided her as she did a kick-step off the ground, whirling the sword around her, gaining momentum -
- she was nothing more than an iron tornado, heading straight for the torso of the nearest clone. The blade was long and it made to eat at the flesh of the doppleganger. Gina was just a purple blue behind it, the driving force, an insatiable power.
Gravity was now her friend; with his head between her calves she fell to the ground in an attempt to smash the clone's face. This would at least stun him and give her time to come back around for the real Legion.
All the while this was happening, Gina had not stopped smiling. Indeed, as her legs caught the second clone and headed towards the ground, she gave another slight giggle ..
Still - the claws of the second clone scabbed at her and she grunted in pain. He connected hard with the ground and was probably dead from the gunshot before he smashed his skull - the back of her legs were bleeding, now, torn at the jeans. It hurt. It hurt kind of a lot.
She twisted away from his form, blade at hand. She was up on her feet in a moment (not one to waste momentum) and laughed.
"Good workout, this."
Her eyes had faded to grey many years ago, but a delicate smile was shining apon her face, a glow of radiance around her. It seemed warmer in her location...
"Ahh.. The stone feels wonderful against my.. Eheh.."
