Setting
New Haven was a lush and thriving landscape that required little terraforming to make it habitable by human settlers, and though bearing the technological influence of the central planets, the planet still retains a lush and natural atmosphere. Settlements are small and secluded, with heavy spiritual tones and what technology is prevalent is to aid them in their simpler lives with as little detriment to the natural resources as possible.
New Haven is an oddity and a planet that doesn't quite seem to fit anywhere. It is often disregarded by the outer planets as being too central, while the central planets have lobbed New Haven in with the outer planets. The result is that this planet doesn't see much traffic from either end of the spectrum, which is how they like it. The most common travelers to New Haven are those on spiritual journeys.

then out of nowhere a pickpocket took her coin purse and ran down the street. she took three steps and decided to not risk chasing him into a dark ally. she force lifted the spilled objects from her food bag and picked it up. walking right into Vinculum.
she stepped back carefully and apologized.
Vinculum's voice was a deep continuous satin without the limitations of a speaking voice. His actual breath was a smooth hot wind from his continuous breathing system and smelled of petrichor from a fresh rain. Vinculum's chest gave slightly but it was still a hard leathery surface covering muscles underneath.
Transmitted by radio from spines along his back it came by way of a receiver with a speaker on his shoulder, "Greetings, False Matriarch, do you need your property recovered?"
she looked around and tried to figure out what to do. "False Matriarch?" she murmured under her breath. she stood there for a good while thinking about it then it finally hit her in the face. "Are you a Force user?"
she pulled out a small green crystal from a side pocket and held it out to him, "if you are, do you know what this is?"
Oculi turns back to the False Matriarch, "I am still learning the ways of the force for Matriarch Oculi. She birthed me to be trained by a nongardener. Others call him a grey Jedi. He is absent so I wander."
The dark grey skin of his hands was as smooth as his voice as he used two fingers gingerly against her hand to stabilize it. Huge musles on his frame tensed to move him down closer to the small Matriarch two heads shorter than himself. He remarkes curiously, "Is it a lightsaber crystal perhaps? I am given the task to learn, False Matriarch."
Aryell looked at the ground and kicked a rock. then looked back up at Oculi, She got Curious When another Jedi was mention but she didn't feel like being rude and interrupting something that could break her in half.
"Why do you keep calling me False Matriarch? I haven't implied I'm apart of anything? have I?" she replied, with a slight tilt in her head.
"Also there is only one other jedi in this universe that I know of. and I am looking for her."

His deep voice rumbled on, "We couldn't find any other Jedi either. High Matriarch Bvetin returned my master to a place of his choosing. I hope to see him again but Bvetin isn't sure where he drew his point of emergence."
A waxen cuticle gave chemical resistance leaving a supple feel when offering with his smooth leathery hand, "I will assist you looking for this other Jedi that is your will, False Matriarch. The Imperial lines see no just reason to distinguish between non-gardener False Matriarchs and our own. It is the purpose of the Imperial breed like myself to protect Matriarchs that are just."
"What did you mean by imperial breed?" she asked curiously, "and why do you want to help me? I mean for all you know I could be a sith luring you into a trap." she said with a little more suspicion.
she entered the password to remote start the ship as the gangplank dropped as she crawled inside the interreor was filled with a small kitchen a crew quarters. a small captian's quarters cargo bay and a pilot's cabin. all in all is was big enough to comfort most creatures, (think a little bigger then the falcon by interior).
His arms glow with a force shield his muscles taut as Vinculum makes fist, "We ensure the safety of the Matriarchy that is our purpose. We also serve the Matriarchy as the breedstock of our caste but you do not have leave of Matriarch Oculi."
"We trust the Matriarchy that seems like it is just or if with cause to believe it is still so." He continued as they walked, "If you proved yourself unjust that it could not be forgiven then either I will kill you or you will kill me. It is as it should be."
When they came to the ship he bent down to scale the gangplank hitting his backpack on the bottom of the ship. He tried to stand but hit his plated head with a loud clonk on a beam. It didn't phase him but managed a stooped posture to remove his backpack. Now protected the bony plates on his head sloughed backward the leathery face protection retracting down below his jawline. It revealed a dusky-colored human face with flat-black eyes. The Matriarchy revered the face of High Matriarch Bvetin's dreamer and took pains to ensure Vinculum had a human face appropriate of his sire. It was strong and symmetrical as the Imperial egg from within which he was shaped was their marble to carve. Though he clearly had a human mouth his throat was very Gardener.
He looked at the kitchen as the speaker on the floor duly vocalized his face stock still, "What do you eat here, Aryell? I cannot eat meat the Dreamer of High Matriarch Bvetin prefers."
