Setting
The ride took at least and hour, and finally, the man was strapped into a chair, a single light shining on his head, and two Shogunate officers standing around him.
There was an ominous silence as the men prepared their various machinations to torture the man.
One of the Taiyou rolled up a tray, moving the tray next to him, there was a scalpel, a pair of calipers, and five thin bamboo slivers. The Taiyou male looked to the interrogator, whom pulled the glimmering helmet from his face. The man was distinctly western, clad in Roman style armor. The Taiyou next to him stepped into the light, a young Imperial Taiyou male.
"He should wake up shortly, and we can begin the interrogation." The young male said, before he turned to Avantia. "I'm Haruo Arakawa, with the ISSP, this is Alaekos Katsi, of the Argosian Frumentarii. We'll oversee the interrogation."
The Matriarch voiced no intent to call off the interrogations though. After all this is why the prisoners had been turned over to the Taiyou. The Volarians lacked the artistic touch of torture that the Taiyou seemed to possess. It didn't mean she was going to enjoy this though.
Her expression took on a look of quiet neutrality so as to not reveal any hesitation that might be present in her at the treatment the man in question was likely to suffer at the hands of his Taiyou captives. The decision had been made.
He cracked his neck, shutting his nerves down, stopping all feelings to his arms and such after he stopped the implements. All he did was smirk and hold his mind back. The intense programming and bionic changed done to him over him many years of service would not be clear to anyone trying to hurt him, his strength hidden and waiting, but his Cybran side was taking a while to boot up.
"We can make this very easy, or we can make this very difficult for you." The Taiyou male said, lighting up a cigarette, while one of his Adjutants spoke in Taiyou.
"Ōte Kusanagi wa, mamonaku tōchaku shimasu." He said, and the ISSP officer nodded.
The Taiyou knelt on one knee in front of the Cybran, and he looked at the male.
"What is your name?" He asked. "A Simple question."
"Warum Sie kämpfen?" The Taiyou added.
"Wo ist ihr Welt?" He said, leaning forward as the door opened up, revealing a violet haired woman. "Arwakawa-san." She said, approaching the Cybran male.
As she approached, a single Taiyou male wheeled in a computer screen and a series of hookups.
"Information we already knew," she answered in Taiyou.
She watched the Cybran quietly, studying him.
"If his brain is controlled by a computer, perhaps with enough time to study him we might learn how to mitigate the Cybran threat through their electronics."
His bionics shut down before any attempt could be made to hack him. His Brain, that wasn't computer kicked in, unable to process the raw data from the bionic eye, he relied on his left eye to look towards them, watching everyone with a glance.
"Wo ist ihr planeten?" Arakawa asked, lowering himself and looking at the lone Cybran in his one human eye.
"Woher kommen Sie?" He reiterated, before turning back to Avantia, before Major Kusanagi spoke up.
"The Prince is planning to start the next stage of his plan. A pogrom against the Cybran people."
The world left a distaste in her mouth, but this wasn't the time or place to discuss such measures.
His computer started up slightly, sending the past few minutes of recordings to the Cybran Fleet, who would no doubt, be on their way back home. It then shut down quickly, already letting his normal brain work at a way out.
The young Taiyou made a face, and then narrowed his eyes as he extended his hand.
One of the Taiyou adjutants placed a device in his hand, and Arakawa frowned some more. "You can make this as painless or painful as possible." He fitted a helmet like device to the man's head, and leads to his wrists and ankles, attaching the wires to a control panel in the wall.
He threw a lever, and a powerful EM Pulse would wrack it's way through his body, shutting down his computer and bionics by short-circuiting the electronics.
Arakawa then grabbed his human arm, and one of the bamboo slivers, and he slowly and carefully slid one of the bamboo slivers under his fingernail, slow enough to cause excruciating pain.
For now she observed what she could while remaining observantly quiet. She hadn't even brought Shanthi to acompany her as a translator on this day, having chosen to observe this interrogation alone. She didn't even want to be here herself, let alone want to subject the rest of her people to these acts of barbarism.
The only reason she had personally attended at all is that she couldn't in good conscience order such acts while looking away. Though it would seem this particular individual was resilient enough against torture tactics as to leave the interrogation thus far less of an ordeal than she had anticipated.
"Ensure the subject's brain is undamaged. I wish to examine it when I get back to Niihama." He said, while Motoko and Arakawa nodded and both began to adjust the chair the man was strapped in, laying it back and putting on additional heavy duty straps, while the strange man looked on.
"Excellent, let's transport the subject."
Another body hit the floor, headless. Of the six dozen men ui the courtyard a few were dead since the woman was rudely woken in the courtyard cemetry within a small mausoluem of a sort. Pale skin vibrant brown eyes, and a stupidly sharp sword of strange make.
Up and to the side with the strange sword, two more bodies fell. the blood flying, some of it getting on the woman herself. Each swing of the blade a body or two fell. None of them getting a touch on the womans body aside from their blood. Which was harmless evne if vampires lived there that she fought.
To the side and up, three more bodies fell, one of which simply faded into ash as the woman took in the number of men and women, half of them vampires, some of them magical users. But all of them armed just as she was.
A female vampire screamed something and ran at the woman, the woman easily sidestepped, her sword making a wet WHACK sound. The Vampire smirked and turned around, making to strike a second time, before screaming in horror as her body slid into two pieces and was silenced by the same sword taking out her neck.
Finally the woman spoke; a strangel angauge to be sure, Mongolian "Khen namaig sereej baisan teneg yum be?" which translated meant "Who was the idiot to waken me ?" Rather then answer, the swarm of men and women, human and vampire, attacked in a wave at the woman. At the end of the throng was the desired target, freedom, but questuions needed answering.
Who were these vampires, and why did they waken her ?
The first few had learned the hard way that such a thing seemed to be all but an easy meal. This lone woman had been able to cut her way through any and all who attempted to bring her low and yet they seemed to be undeterred. This of course were the feral few who had lost themselves and alll sense of who they had once been in the depths of their thirst. They had become little more than skulking beasts that had no greater sense of themselves, no more understanding than what they had lost than that of a wild dog.
It was the loss of these bestial companions that taught the others who still retained their sanity something they had not felt in a long time. Fear. This woman, this one lone figure was standing alone, defiant against them and their wrath, depriving them of that most delicious and needed of sustenance. And yet though they knew there was a great risk there they felt that perhaps in a great number they could overcome this interloper. So they gathered in numbers and began to surge forwards.
And then they halted, the vampires stopping in their tracks and sniffing at the night air, their heads turning to the oriental castle that sat upon the hilltop only a short distance away, silhouetted against the waxing moon as it hung heavily over them. There seemed to be something of an internal debate between their number, some of them looking back towards the woman as even a few of them already began to detach and head back towards the castle. With many a hiss and a screech a great exodus began as these vampires rapidly withdrew to their more defensible position.
Another body fell, in two pieces. As the swarm began to retreat she kept up with them, moving deeper into the throng. Leaving a trail ever wider of dead in her wake. There was a reason two known swordsmen and death dealers were well known, She trained one of them, her decendant, the Mongol, Genghis Khan. The other, the one known as Battousai the Manslayer.
But for one so young, so frail, so beautiful and full of the potent blood the vampires needed to survive. She was too skilled for them. Until she got to the heart of the throng as they moved in retreat to better defenses. Which werent. They were just better areas to die by her blade.
SCHWICK a head fell from a body, the body fell the same time as the head. By this point, the woman was drenched in vampire and human blood. But she didnt seem to care as she moved like a dancer through the mob of vampires and thralls. a flick fo the wrist and blood was flung off the blade. No signs of damage or rust, hell no signs of even trhe dge dulling from all the death she was dealing out.
Closer to the keep it became clear that the commanders of this mob wewre inside or in better postings of defensive zones as Kamerilah made her way closer to the castle gate itself. Freedom was behind her, answers to questions she had was before her. But sometiems certain questions werent meant to be answered. One of which was why all the stupidly brave vampires trying to take her down.
Her mouth tasted of copper as she spat out human blood that had gotten in her mouth. Some of it her own. She needed food. She needed answeres, she needed..... freedom
But instead at that moment, soaked in enemy blood; she needed only one thing, to kill every vampire within reach.
Finally her sword to the throat of a commander of a sort, a Nightfire Vampire breed apparently, who shook violently with fear as she stood before him, sword at its neck. "Namaig sereegeech, namaig yaagaad namaig sereesen yum be?" Which translated meant "Answer my questions asshole, who woke me up, why did they wake me up, what do they want from me ?"
For a moment it looked as though the creature was about to spill everything it knew as it looked back down at the blade that still pressed against its skin. It seemed as though it knew full well that even if it could escape from the reach of the weapon it wouldn't be able to get anywhere, the castle was closed shut and there was no way it was going to get in alone. Just as it opened its mouth to speak though, there was a sound that would have stopped his heart if it still beat true, a series of clicks that were so faint and distant there was no way any mortal ears would be able to hear them, even with the enhanced senses of a vampire he could only just make them out.
A cruel grin spread across the creatures face as he stretched out his arms, closing his crimson eyes for the last time.
"Long live Lord Hio!" He spat at the woman in Japanese, just as the vampires who lurked within the confines of the castle, now having time to arm themselves with automatic rifles and body armour began firing at the pair, unleashing a hail of hellfire at the interloper who dared to threaten their master.

Tossing the ravaged body at the gunmen Kamerilah snapped out her blade; this was too much firepower, there was no way she was going to get to the door in this mess! Kamerila growled something in Mongolian as blood flung in all directions as she wove and weaved through the gunfire, moving fast as she could to get out of range as she fought with the remaining vampires in the courtyard.
On the ramparts a good dozen thralls and their vampire commander watched, motioning to the thralls the Vamp Commander had trhem line up in three rows, arrows readied. With the woman focused on the gunmen that left her open. None of the thralls or vampires had made a mark on the woman, but their blood soaked her, so it was tiem to mix her own blood into it.
the archers readied their arrows. a good three dozen aimed at the woman's general area. The vamp[ire raised a hand. Silently dropping it the arrows were loosed, raining around Kamerial she briefly ignord them, moving too fast to get hit until....
SCHLICKKTHUD
An arrow slammed into her right shoulder dead on the front. Looking around all combat briefly stopped as she staggered back,. Kamerilah looked around, her left hand going to the arrow, it wasnt poisoned, no not yet. Gripping the shaft she snapped it, ripping it from her shoulder in a explosion of her own blood. More arrows rained down then. moving quickly she defelcted many arrows into those around her on the ground before making her way towards the ramparts. She had to get to freedom. Forget talking or fighting Hio, she had to flee.
