Behind the Demon Hordes the other three Dark Gods sat. Slaanesh was lieing down watching the Emperor and Khnorne wit ha devilish smile on its face. "Oh my, this battle sure is hot. I call dibs on him when he is beaten and broken." The Chaos God of pleasure swooned as it watched them. Tzeentch launched magic bolts while calculating thousands of ways to kill one soul. "If you have time to swoon, you have time to fight. Thanks to you my calculations are ruined. But nevertheless I expect nothing from you besides your constant flirting with anything and anyone..." The Chaos God of Deception spoke and he obliterated one soul after 100's of spells. Nurgle, the oldest of the Chaos Gods, stood around sending Great Unclean ones by the thousands. "There is no need to to be that way Tzeentch...We will eventually win..." The Chaos God of Pestilence spoke.
Once the Chaos Threat retreated, The Emperor turned to face the strange figure that appeared to be a kid. "You have my thanks for helping us, however I must ask. Why do you help us? The Chaos Gods will return even when defeated and be more prepared than last time. I have seen this thousands of times but at least you gave my men a short break from this fighting." The Emperor spoke as he spoke to the strange figure.
The warriors of man soon joined the Legion warriors on the walls. The portals opened up, and they could all feel the new power from the dark gods. They had tapped deeper in their vast power, they would be much harder to beat but not impossible.
The Emperor was worried at first, but he lowered his sword and stood back. If he can put his faith into this then he should use this opportunity well. He went back into his body which was on the Goldren Throne and spoke to the Custodes guarding it. "See to it that the Black Templar Marshal arrives on Terra safely. He is the key to bring me back without waiting on our new allies. They will still be a helpful ally, and the new body will help greatly." With his order gived he returned back to the Warp and put his faith in the warriors fighting against the darkness.
The demons charged the walls, even with the light burning them they continued. For Khorne he felt the spears impale him which only made him more powerful. He was fueled by all battles, this was no different. For the other Gods, Tzeentch hammered away using spells, Nurgle spawned more demons, and Slaanesh went back to lounging and watching the battle.
"I am not surprised at this turn of events, but that means they will think twice from attacking. It is impressive to so such power coming from another being, it almost reminds me of myself when I was alive. This is just the entrance to Holy Terra, a small section of the warp. The four chaos gods know they are severely weakened when they leave the inner sanctum of the warp, they also know that they can fight me while they are in there. However this section of the warp now seems more welcoming of spirits then a deathtrap for them, you see before the warp became what it was it was much more peaceful and devoid of demons. That was until the Chaos God...Goddess...Was created from the Eldar by complete mistake resulting in the realm of souls collapsing on itself. Then what you see here is the result of that. I am sure there are other Gods lurking around, stemming the tides of chaos or being tricky. But enough about that, thank you for assisting us again. At that rate it would have taken all of us a few days to drive them back for a meager minute." The Emperor thanked Tian'Dal.
Then, a seeping... thing appeared. One might have called it light, but it wasn't really that. It was more of a dark light. Blacker than black. It roiled and folded like fog. It collected, solidified and formed into...

Matter awoke, gasping for air. The darkness was still all around it, but this time it was cold, and oppressive. It was inky, and it roiled around his body, choking Matter slowly. It attempted to bat away the darkness, but of course it was intangible. It tried to scream, but could not; its lungs were full of shadow. Desperately, Matter kicked up and began swimming desperately for the surface. But there was no surface; there wasn’t even an end. And finally Matter realized where it was. This place was an infinity of cold, lonely darkness.
This was Oblivion.
