The storms conjured by the broken arrow seals served little more than to provide a dramatic backdrop for the Aschen war adepts. Inside the main foyer of the Omnicorp building, what few Aschen marines that were left were trying to drag their wounded to safety, while others dropped their weapons and took off, their shattered morale evident as they threw down their weapons and deserted.

The Adepts on the other hand seemed to lavish in the carnage of battle. They enjoyed the melee aspect even more. The Warriors moved into Melee range, trying to pry the weapons from the Adepts with varying success. The armor of the Adepts hissed, hot nuclear vents spilled superheated air from their backs as their armor kicked into overdrive. Servos and hydraulics whirred, as the Adepts wrestled with the alien warriors. The Warriors would quickly find that these power armored Adepts were quickly matching them in sheer strength, speed, stamina, and tenacity. Each blow first impacted the shields, which flared brilliantly along the fists of the Warriors, energy surging out in every direction. Punching into these shields likely felt as if one was punching corn starch, the energy of the blows being dissipated across the entire surface of the barrier. Once the fist impacted the helmet, if they managed to get through the Adept's arms as he matched and blocked incoming blows, sending their own blows at the Warriors. Kanvium reinforced piston driven fists swung hard, impacting with the force of a speeding freight train. Other adepts favored bladed weapons as they got into Melee combat, with some drawing their carbide-ceramic blades, and would strike for whatever weak point they could find within their enemies.

Amidst the brawl, some Adepts tried to physically overpower their adversaries, one going so far as to reach out and attempt to tear the warrior's head clean from it's shoulders.

The Adepts fought brutally, lusting in the din of battle.

"Purge the alien!" One of them called out, before he charged at the closest warrior, Jump jets cracking to life and sending the Adept careening towards the nearest warrior, all 1,800 pounds coming at the warrior like an out of control automobile.

"Adept Squad leader, this is Actual, I've got reason to believe that the Xenos are trying to bring the building down; do not allow the building to.." The radio signal faded out as the building shuddered under the Golem's attacks. "oome down.. Stop whatever it is at all costs."

The Adept captain nodded, and keyed his response as an axe impacted his shields and armor, the shields flared angrily and the armor seemed to ripple with the impact. Alarms flared inside the Heads-up Display for the Adept captain.

The man growled, and spun around, grabbing his chainsword and revving it, before bringing a wide swing across with the intention to cleave the warrior in two.

Whether or not the attempt was successful, the Adept suddenly disappeared in a flash of light, and a pop before re-appearing not a few feet away from the towering Golem.

He engaged his jump jets and bore his heavy magnetron outwards, gritting his teeth and pulling the trigger. He fired several slugs at the Golem's center mass, the Heavy Magnetron barked it's report before the Adept released it, the massive weapon clattering to the floor with an audible clack, as the Adept attempted to collide into the Golem, and grab the magical creature by the head, swinging around to come standing on it's shoulders.

The Adept screamed, as his armor whirred in protest. The Adept was attempting to grab the Golem's head, and secure his footing on the Golem's shoulders. Hoping to keep it distracted. He promptly followed up by grabbing his Snub-nosed heavy magnetron pistol, he moved to try and cram the barrel of the weapon into the gap between the Golem's chin and chest, before firing several times, as many times as he could until either the Golem tossed him off, or he managed to kill the massive creature.

Several other Adepts regrouped, from their melee battle with the Fyrnskains, flashing out and closer to the Golem with the Adept riding it like a rodeo star.

Grabbing their weapons, those that hadn't been disarmed in the melee combat; they once again began to concentrate their fire, stopping only when a second Adept charged at the Golem's legs, aiming the collide low, knocking legs out from under it and hoping to bring the towering magical monstrosity crashing down.

----

The building continued to list as the Marine lieutenant shook his head.

"This place is going to come crashing down any minute, How far out are Tech Con's Condors?" The Lieutenant called out. The Radio corporal shook his head, before keying in messages across the Aschen Datalink, while the Lieutenant listened to the response.

"Whoever these aliens are, we're going to need all the help we can get if we're going to secure the city. I have evac coming to the roof, if they can get here before this building comes down." The Lieutenant replied on the radio before he looked out to the horizon.

"This diversion damn better work, I'm losing a lot of good men down there." The Lieutenant said as he turned to the Tech Con quarter, a single Condor VTOL sailing through the air towards the building.

The Fyrnskain continued their assault on the adepts, the combat quickly driving them into a berserker rage. Mortal injuries were ignored, broken bones were disregarded, all that mattered to the battle crazed Warriors was the combat. They charged and assaulted the Adepts without pause or rest, relentlessly striking and grasping, heaving. One warrior would go so far as to physically lift an Adept into the area before slamming him into the ground, shattering the earth with the force of an avalanche. The Adept who charged into a warrior found his momentum met in equal by the Fyrnskain, who bellowed a battle cry. Those Legion Warriors who remained were driven into a battle rage by the warcries of the Fyrnskain, and they attacked with renewed vigor, likewise ignoring harm. Each and every warrior who fell, be they of Legion of Fyrnskain, would ignite into iridescent chromatic flames that would peal off and be absorbed into the wings of the paladins.

The Adept who sought to slay a fyrnskain with his chainsword had not seemed to notice the blood lust in his opponents eyes, as the mighty war captain grabbed the weapon and shattered it in his grip. When the Adept vanished from sight, the fyrnskain peered around seeking his prey. He failed to find it however, and immediately returned to assaulting the other adepts.

The Golem gave no notice nor thought to the adept who now rode his head. The weapon the soldier used richocheted from the golems body, cracking the surface and causing bell like tones to issue throughout the lobby. The focused fire of the other adepts continued to crack the Golem's starsteel body, even going so far as to break small chunks of the material off of it. The Adept who charged it would feel as though they had slammed into a mountain, for the Golem's legs gave as much or less ground than an ancient peak of stone. The Golem continued it's work of breaking the support structure, it's single minded drive focused upon the task without exception.

The Archers chose that moment to break from their cover, firing a volley of red arrows at the supply station on the roof. Each arrow would sail through the air and erupt, a few feet from it's target, into an expulsion of molten rock and metal. This was intended to destroy supplies and devastate forces. The Archer captain, recongnizable via a blue sash that crossed his chest, called out to his three remaining subordinates "Get to that portal, we need to know whats on the other side. All else matters little!" His voice was musical and his language unknown to those not of the Legion Warriors.

As the archers on the roof sought to break cover, their arrows sailed through the air towards the seemingly defenseless personnel on the roof.

The arrows would have come in for the kill had they not inexplicably veered off course, the condor banked around hard towards the roof, while a figure emerged from its back hatch.

If the Isaltri forces were as ancient as they claimed, they would recognize the armor as the legendary Alteran Z-187 powered exoskeleton. The Mysterious figure leapt from the Condor before sailing towards the ground.

"Imperial forces this is Bishop, I'll handle the walking mountain, make sure I'm paid on time." The voice said as it echoed over the radio.

The strange figure landed on the concrete in front of Omnicorp with an audible thunk; the din of battle going on all around him. He watched the Fyrnskains and the Adepts do battle, with the Adepts holding the slight upper hand, but their zeal was visibly wavering as they were starting to incur wounds, their armor showing the scars of the intense battle they were fighting.

Bishop watched as an Adept was slammed into the ground, his armor groaning in protest as he struggled back to his feet, to regain the upper hand.

If a legion warrior approached bishop, Bishops mind would snap like a rubber band, the incoming attack would be stopped by a seemingly unseen force unlike anything encountered before, before Bishop envisioned the Warriors neck snapping like a twig, his vision aimed at becoming a reality as his mind influenced the events around him.

He stepped through the chaos of battle, moving to use his power to end anyone's life that got too close, his eyes on the Golem.

He focused his mind and extended his hand, a bubble of seemingly impermeable energy erupting around the figure, protecting him from the onslaught of the surrounding alien warriors.

He exerted his will on the Golem, and he made his hand into a fist, gesturing in a sudden sweeping motion. The same unseen force aiming to throw the golem away from the pillar. This unseen force was capable of moving even the mightiest mountain with effortless ease. Bishop then clenched an open hand into a fist and exerted the pressures equivalent of the event horizon of a black hole on the golem.

The very fabric of reality bent a knee and Bishop used his perception to isolate and aim at the very life core of the Golem, his mind attempting to bypass the starsteel armor and rend the golem's very heart into a thousand pieces.

The archer managed to get lucky as he made his attempt into the Bifrost vortex. If one considered the fate that awaited him on the other side as lucky, as the archer would emerge aboard a Reverence II somewhere between Terra and the Aschen Empire.

Daren kept on climbing his armor giving the mere human the [physicality of quickly ascending each flight of stairs with minimal fatigue. But climbing upwards of 40 levels did add up and even in his armor Daren was beginning to feel a burn in his thighs. With grunts and concentrated effort he kept up the pace as the entire building shook and rattled around him during his ascension.

When he finally made it through the top. Daren didn't even bother with the door busting through it by simply running through the metal. The scene on top was a firefight, although much smaller in scope to the one happening down on the ground. The exchanged were those green bolts of energy, with arrows flying from the opposite direction then exploding in red. He was facing the Aschen troops with the troop of archers behind him blocked by the stair well structure he had just enter from. He had been noticed by this time, making the Aschen marines adjust positions to the new possible threat. His

His armor assessed the battle environment before him, causing his armor to visibly change configuration plating and hardening itself to better withstand super-concentrated heat blasts. Trophy system defenses were online and had begun 'pinging' with it's own internal sonar system getting a lay of all hard bodied targets with a 50 meter range. Extremely high tech for it's time on Earth, but low-to-mid level protection in Aschen terms. The armor was still quite an accomplishment for being able to provide such protection on it's own and with it's own internal power supply.

Daren drew his pistol from the magnetic holster hardwired to his right thigh, and held it in a high ready position getting into an athletic stance. Not knowing who was friend or foe, he was ready to dash and fire at who or whatever aimed at him first. Any hard projectiles or explosives would be made inert and deflected from the Trophy defense system. "Kind of a fucked up Mexican shoot off we got here."

One of the warriors did charge the bishop, though it was one of the youngest ones that did so. The others knew well enough to avoid the being who had dropped into their midst. They were not afraid of him, they simply knew that they were not equipped to handle him. The only one who was had been directed to a different front, and would simply not be able to reach them in time.

The warrior that made the effort of charging, normally, would have been protected from the psionics of the Bishop, normally, if an Antimana grenade salvo hadn't stripped his armor of all it's magical defenses and wards. So the breaking of his neck insured that, when he was reborn, he would not make that mistake again. His body, like all the rest, burned away in Chromatic flame.

The Paladins took this time to evacuate the area. The battle was all but lost, and they were of no further use in this theater. They would regroup in the Business District before redeploying to other fronts.

The Golem was made to charge without cease into the very gates of hell itself, but even the earth can be moved with enough force. To say it was thrown from the pillar would not be accurate, as it's weight and size gave it significant resistance. Still, try as it might the Golem could no longer stop itself from being forced away from it's target. Furthermore, the intruding influence of the Bishop, though it would take a significantly greater effort, was eking it's way into the constructs body, towards it's core. The simple and one track mind of the Golem did the math and came to the conclusion.

It threw both of it's hands up into the air before slamming them back into the ground, anchoring itself in place, so that not even the Bishop would be able to move the Construct. Then it's body began to glow brightly, getting even brighter with every second. A humming sound filled the air, along with teh taste of iron, as energy crackled from the starsteel Golem. It was inciting it's body, a process that would turn the entirety of it's mass into an explosive energy. The spears had undergone this same process and had detonated like Grenades. The Golem would explode with the force of an erupting mountain, the magnitude of a nuclear bomb.

The archers continued their fire into into the enemies numbers, no longer concerned with their own lives, they continued to fire one after the other, until their arrows were all spent. Once they no longer had ammo each Archer would charge recklessly to breach through the portal.

Reaching the other side is all that mattered to them. What awaited them was irrelevant, as after they had reached the other side they would quickly take in every sight they could before their enemy slew them. What the Aschen could not know was that the Archers bodies, after being burned away by their innate nature, would be reborn at the nearest Soulstone. Once they had, they would be free to recount all they had seen. As they were, first and foremost, the scouts of the legion Warriors, this method of gathering information was a least sacrifice in their eyes.

Kander figured while on his business trip, well, he would visit this nice little district. He had heard of OmniCorp, but had never personally seen the building, and in his opinion, he didn't think it was all that. He actually had the strange urge to bomb it. Knock out some more competition. Maybe. He began to stroll towards the building. It was hard not to draw attention to himself, his metal jaw was an obvious identity confirmation. People began to move in the opposite direction of him. They probably didn't know who he was, but wanted to make sure he wasn't there to cause harm. The perimeter was guarded by security, as it should. He didn't want to get his suit bloody on the first door, but oh well. There was a bench in front of a cement garden holder. He decided to dive behind that. He took out his suppressed rifle and aimed at the first guard. He began to itch his neck. Kander waited for him to pull his hand away before shooting him in the throat, throwing blood onto the nice glass windows behind him.

The other guard was a bit smarter. He went into a somersault and popped up, firing in the direction of Kander. Kander laughed, stopping the guard with a shot to the head, right in between his eye brows. He dropped onto the body of the other guard. Kander ran up to the blood glass door, took the ID card of one of the fallen security guards, and swiped it into the card slot, making the doors slide open. He strolled in, concealing his weapon for now. A nice looking girl was at the reception table looked frightened, "Sir- You can't-!" Kander pulled out his KEP (Kander Enhanced pistol) and shot her in the chest, arm, and then head. He ran at the table, vaulting it, and getting to the other side. He began to type away on the computer. It was hard to see the map due to all the blood on the screen, but Kander got the basic idea. He needed to plant the bombs in the Secure facility, which wouldn't be as easy as it was breaking into the building in the first place.

Kander, realizing he left the bombs on his "democratic vessel" decided to simply set a charge in one of the public areas to draw a crowd in. Then he can escape before he is detected by someone of importance. He made his way through a set of nicely decorated hallways with nice glass windows, for a nice view of some of the gardens and the people strolling.

Kander heard hundreds of voices erupt in one of the public areas. It would make for a good distraction. He made his way to an iron door. He slid the ID card from the security into the card slot and entered a courtyard. It had nice patches of flowers, with groups of women, children, men, all sorts pondering, laughing, talking, yelling. There were multiple security squads strolling on the cement walkways, patrolling, looking for anyone... suspicious. Kander quickly made his way to a large group of people, and stood near the middle of the group. They began to take note of him though. "And who are you?" Said a defensive mother, holding her child's arm. Kander cocked his head, "A person looking to do no harm." A security guard must have heard him speak, as he had turned around and met Kander's sharp eyes. "Sir, you do not seem to be from around these parts. You cannot be here right now-!" Kander quickly pulled out his suppressed rifle and shot the man a total of five times, three in the leg, two in the neck and chest. He dropped. Luckily there were so many people too focused in on the gardens and flowers that they didn't even bother to turn around. As Kander had expected, the guard had a charge in his pocket. He grabbed it and threw it at a group of people. It exploded, sending bodies everywhere. Kander didn't even bother to check and see if there were any children caught in the blast. He slid the card back into a slot and ran as fast as his thin legs were able until he got to the back entrance. There were only three guards, all of their backs turned. He took his rifle and shot each in the head before they had time to turn around. He then concealed his rifle and ran, retracing his steps before the guards even realized what had happened. He checked his pocket watch. "Just in time."

A call was made out on reports of an explosion in the area. Chimera's, armored troop transports began to encircle the Omni Corp building, Imperial Guardsman of the Imperium of Man, dressed in beige colored flak vests and shouldering Las-guns surrounded the Perimeter.

Some Guardsman appeared on rooftops equipped with Lon-las rifles. Imperial Snipers took up position and peered into the building through the glass windows. "Damn...I report civilian casualties sir. I repeat civilians shot and blown up sir...Emperor preserve them all..." The sniper reported as they took up positions.

Of course, under orders. Two Adeptus Astartes, Two Space marines the Emperors angels of death had arrive on scene. Wearing yellow colored power armor and wielding bolters. These weapons fired 1.00 caliber rocket propelled uranium tipped rounds. These superhumans stood at position alongside Imperial Guard assets.

"Bastard...Whoever this sorry excuse of life is they picked the wrong time to invade. Brave men of the Emperor!" An Imperial Officer shouted raising his chainsword. "Today, your target is a ruthless killer! Your foe shows no respect to the defenseless! There will be no mercy for the enemy! There will be no escape for the enemy, only a penance of death awaits them! With the might of the Space Marines with us along with us brave Imperial Guardsman! All units advance! Rear teams ensure no one gets in or out without orders from me! TO GLORY!" The officer roared.

Soon sounds of battle cries roared from the crows as possibly fifty Imperial Guardsman began to enter the building from all angles, trained soldiers working together to breech the structure. The two space marine stormed the front in a disciplined manner, easily sweeping the area with their enhanced biology. These hulking armored superhumans stood at perhaps eight feet tall. Woever decided to raid this place was not expected to come out alive on a day where security was at an alltime high.

Kander didn't realize how tough the security was in Wing City. Lack of security on the other planets he had raided had made him arrogant and lazy when it came to covering his tracks. He had a clear view of the OmniCorp HQ, and it was not looking good at all. He saw hundreds, possibly thousands of men flooding the building. And... were those troop transports? Perhaps he shouldn't have raided the OmniCorp HQ. Kander had always been one to do his research before going in headstrong, but this was just plain old reckless. His psychotic nature may have overridden that tiny conscience that still wanted him to do right by himself. He envied the orderly fashion of the soldiers as they filed out of the transports and stormed the building. It was truly a work of art when one had the time to sit down and watch it all. Of course, he was not one to have the time, seeing as he was most likely the one they were after in the first place. He didn't expect to get away easy on a planet like Terra after killing however many civilians died in the initial blast, and then the multiple guard personnel that he riddled with bullets.

It seemed as though his conscience grew more and more thin. Of course, a result of his psychosis. These days it grows harder and harder for Kander to still function regularly when in large crowds. That voice... it keeps coming. Telling him to end them. All of them. Although there was some strategy when it came to the recent bombing. He had to cause a distraction so he would go practically undetected at the spaceport and at the Teahouse. But there would soon be Wing City security personnel flooding the Teahouse just as the OmniCorp HQ is now.

He couldn't even be so sure that he could make it off Terra now, seeing as the Imperial Navy is probably now on the scene up there as well. It would take days before he could be allegedly KIA. He could effectively hide in the slums of Wing City, or another abandoned part of Wing City, but it would just be a life on the run. He was running out of options, and it didn't help that Gundo was now hot on his tail.

The Soldiers all explored the building but found no trace of the intruder. Just remaining personal and guards on alert. "Target has fled the scene, all units on high alert. Secure planetary travel until target is caught! We are finding this bastard..." The Officer spoke to a Vox man who relayed the message to all Imperial assets to be on alert for a criminal.

With the threat gone, Guardsman began to usher out personal while they clean up the area. Especially the garden where the explosion went off. "Sick bastard...Family of three and three others caught in the blast...two children..." A Guardsman spoke sickened.

"Asshole, its not bad enough that some sick serial killer artist is loose...now we got someone who throws an explosive at children...Emperor watch over them..." The two went in silence as they made the symbol of the Aquilla over the dead as they got to work picking up the pieces left so they could patch them up to the best and give them a proper burial...

"Well, only way he can escape is through the spaceport, but we are going to lock that down tight, so we can just gather the images from security cameras, broadcast a wanted, and in a week guy will be in cuffs or better yet...gunned down..."

Kander busted his ass, making it down the street frantically searching for somewhere to lie low, and wasn't finding anything. He could now only assume that they realized that he wasn't in the building. They would be making their way down the streets, locking down every major area in Wing City. "Shit." He sighed, deciding to stop in an alley way to catch his breath. He was still so close to the building that he could hear the Imperials' footsteps. He began to formulate a plan in his head to get out of this mess. This has got to be the worst situation to land in when it comes to a city like Wing City. He would find a way though. He has to if his Enterprise is to survive. If he is to become greater than his father. He made a promise, a vow. And he will keep his vow. He will survive, one way or another.

Imperial soldiers marched across the city, multiple light armored vehicles and walkers also surveyed the area. In the air, Valkaryie transports searched by air with contingents of frop troopers ready to attack at any given point. Soon vox transmitions went out. "Attention guardsman, the Target is confirmed to have red and orange hair, a thin build and a mechanical jaw. Taget was last seen wearing maroon suit, with a dapper red bow tie, and a white dress shirt. Be on the lookout."

Of course the Guardsman and Imperial assets made sure to appear to still be on patrol rather than actively looking for a dangerous fellon. Of course with plenty of patrols and units it was hard to manuver through the city. Some guardsman even made makeshift checkpoints, not stopping anyone of course but kept eyes open for the targets description.

They were well teained indeed, and very prepared. With wars under their belt, stopping a criminal was just another task as usual.

Kalorus felt himself drifting off from the blood loss. The pain was fading, which wasn't a good thing in his case. That either meant that he was blacking out, or he was dying. Either one was pretty bad. He didn't even know where he was at this point and didn't care. He could hear the sound of tracks rolling on the streets, so he assumed he wasn't too far from the OmniCorp HQ, which meant they will find him in the alley way he was sitting in. He almost cursed himself, then realized how close the soldiers were, and decided to save that for another time. His eyelids got heavier. He heard people cheering for the vehicles and the soldiers. In front of him is a door. He breaks the door knob and stumbles in. A masculine figure grabs him, then everything goes black.

"This way! I heard something!" A soldier called out as his ears picked up the sound of a door being busted open. Soon soldiers surrounded the alleyway. Well, they dont have to shoot on sight but to make a public execution of such a vile criminal that killed children...this might increase the Imperiums popularity by a small margin.

The soldiers soon began to find out what happened inside the house he tried to bust into.

Kander woke up. He couldn't see. Anything. It was pitch black. He couldn't even guess where he was. The ground was cold and hard. His head was up against something metal, and the ground was wet. He rubbed his shoulder. It still hurt, but there was something over it. Maybe bandages. Same thing went for his back. A small voice pierced the sound. It made Kander jump. "Boy. You'll be lucky to even survive another day." The man had a rough voice, like a smoker's. He shuffled his feet. It made a little scrape noise. Kander said as quietly as he could, "I know that. Everyone knows that. The whole goddamn-!" "Shut your bionic jaw you sorry piece of shit. You listen here." A strong finger poked him in the chest. "Our plan was running smoothly until you sorry ass hole came to Wing City and ruined everything. My team was making baby steps. Baby steps ya hear? Then... Then you..."

Kander waited for the figure to return to ranting on him, but it didn't happen. "I know what you did. And dammit that shit was messed up. In fact. I don't even know why my boss wants you alive especially when it could ruin our operations that we have been working so hard for..." Kander heard something that sounded oddly like a gun clicking. Safety is off. "Do it." Kander said sharply. That must have made the figure jump, because he said nothing.

He felt something hard land on his lap. "Wear that. Lets go. Quickly now." A strong hand grabbed his arm and yanked back towards the light at the end of the darkness. They must have been in another alleyway. Kander checked his pocket watch. Yep, 12 O'clock, on the dot. He wouldn't be surprised if someone else came looking for him. He was itching to know who this damned figure holding his arm looked like. His answer was not very satisfying.

He had a full on motorcycle helmet on, so he couldn't see his face, and his body was covered in black leather. His boots were military grade combat boots. Kander figured he was part of those stupid biker gangs. His inferences was only further supported when the man hopped on a motorcycle himself. He waited then turned to Kander again. "What are you, stupid? Well, I suppose you are, killing all those people... Just hop on. The Imperials are in that building right there searching." He pointed to a nice looking apartment building. "This is the Business district. You don't try and brake in when the stakes are this high." Kander got on the motorcycle, but refused to hold the character driving. The wind soon began to push Kander's hair back, and almost threw him off the bike, so he begrudgingly held on to the man's shoulders. Then he realized just how much noise the damn motorcycle made. He would be surprised if they got picked off by imperial snipers in two seconds. Of course, he didn't tell his driver that, because he wanted to see him die. He didn't appreciate all the shit given to him. So he waited, either for them to reach their location... Or die. One or the other would be as satisfying as the other.
