Setting
The pool of Nyx is a strange, cold, pocket of land somewhere in the South-East Cursed Wood.
It is a vast land with no trees and blue grass surrounding...

The reason the grass is blue is seemingly unknown, but it is common knowledge that it's naturally blue. As for the water, it is cool, drinkable, and contains to parasites, making it safe for every race, unless they have an unusual allergy to damned water.
If venturing forward, past the pool's edge, however, at one of the rock sides, there is a strange inconsistency with the space-time, presumably a hidden portal. If entered, the person will find themselves standing behind the Scarlet Devil Mansion, the same pool of Nyx behind them, only in a different visual style.
If someone wants to take a swim (without entering the portal), it is very unlikely they'll be happy with the end result. There is a breed called Montauk Monsters inside the Pool, meant to protect it from dastardly intruders, thieves, annoying fairies, and generally ignorant individuals who imply their power trumps all.

lay by the pool and watch the Full Moons.

Kethyr Naethus lie by the pool of nyx, staring at his werewolf reflection.
This turning was the easiest of them all. He didn't feel the pull of the town or his human side. It had been years since his turning. It was about time it started to feel normal.
The red furred werewolf sighed and lumbered to all fours. It was peaceful here. The full moon reflected on the glass-like surface of the blue pool, the blue grasses in the surrounding fieldscape dancing gently in the cool breeze of the night.
