Setting
Comprised of three Solar systems in the rim of SEC space. This seemingly uninhabited region is heavily guarded. In recent months a flurry of activity, military and ships have been seen leaving and entering the region.
The reasoning behind this is largely unknown to any outside entity. Clearly something is going on here and the government is taking active steps to protect this area.

Three Months before the Invasion of Cybran National Space
In the interplanetary systems a small group of research vessels was gathered. Lars King stood on the bridge of one of these vessels and looked an image of empty space amplified on the screen.
"Trial AM0001 Starting Now" An A.I. Chirped.
The entire team held their breath. "3...2...1" Then nothing happened. "Detonation failed." An officer remarked and the entire team took notes.
Lars King thought for a moment before speaking. "I want a report on my desk by the end of the week with a list of solutions we try again in 2 weeks, supply of the material is currently increasing so I want to hit this from three angles. " He said.
This process would repeat itself three more times a variety of methods were tried all were failing but as each test failed the timeline was shortened between tests was shortened, Lars was pushing his scientists. A few explosions had occurred but the method that the researchers were looking to achieve was not successful as of yet.
8 Weeks later
Once again Lars stood on the bridge as he looked at the screen. "Test AM0015"
"3...2...1.." Deep in space an explosion and a flash of light of extreme power erupted. A few seconds after that the team cheered. "Test successful preliminary data is showing success sir."
Lars nodded, "Get a report for me I want a timetable set, I'll be taking this to the president for review. I want Bi weekly tests in two weeks. You have 2 months." Lars said.
