Setting
By the sea the docks and fish markets bordered the port on one side, a beautiful beach in the middle, and a cliff on the other side that looked over the ocean. Most people still dressed in the medieval clothing and it was very easy to spot the tourist.
There are a variety of small, secret coves in the area as well, often used by the children and people who live here for skinny dipping and sunbathing and so on. The town has quite a good business of procuring quality shells and even sometimes jewels are sold from here that were found.

"I'll be inside..." Cynthia said coldly slamming the door behind her as she headed in.
Cynthia sighed "Gods I feel like a fool now..."
Cynthia looked at Ebba " I'm sorry I snapped at you...my emotions like to act before my brain does... If you still want to come with me you can..but it is not an easy road I travel....and are you really sure you wish to leave everything behind? Your home, friends, family?. Ithink I just proved I'm a total idiot and jerk just now after all..."
Cynthia gave a little smile "But if running away is what you seek you have definitely fell in with the right girl..."
Cynthia cleared her throat "Don't worry so much ok we will be fine." Cynthia reinsured Ebba.
Cynthia led Ebba into a good sized room with many broken tables and chairs around a fire pit. A small camp was set up near the fire pit. "This was once the Great Hall of the fort. It was here that the soldiers would meet and eat. As you can see this is where I have set up camp during my stay in this area."
Cynthia pointed down a hallway that leads to the armory. "Most of the weapons and armor in there is rusted junk but if you find anything you can use feel free. Just don't go to far down the hall unless you want your tail back.... It is a stairway that leads to the flooded Garrison quarters and the dungeon...beyond the dungeon is a cave that leads to the lake I mentioned earlier. I can hold my breath quite a while in my Werewolf form..."
Cynthia began to set wood in the fire pit "feel free to look around if you wish." Cynthia told Ebba. "I'll get us some food cooking."
Ebba sat down and held her hands over it, humming. Small light blue particles danced upwards and laid in a puddle close to the moss. Once she was done she brushed off the rest of the rust. "Tada!" She giggled.
Cynthia looked up from her cooking as Ebba came back with a dagger. "The food will take a bit..." She started until her eyes blinked at Ebba's act of magic. "So you can use magic too? You continue to amaze me."
Cynthia turned to the pot stirred the stew a bit and looked back towards Ebba. I do have one trick I think you might like though..."
Cynthia pointed to the ground and muttered in the druid language. Where she pointed a dark grey fog appeared and out of it walked a wolf with white fur and blue eyes. Cynthia spoke again in druid again and the wolf headed over towards Ebba.
"You can pet him if you wish. He will not hurt you."
Winter seemed to enjoy Ebba's attention resting his head on her lap panting softly. "Yep, he's a good boy" Cynthia said as she stirred the stew again. She took a little taste and declared, "It's ready! Fair warning though it will be no where near as good as our last meal together..."
Cynthia took out two small wood bowls and too wood spoons. She filled the bowls and handed one to Ebba. For Winter she pulled out a hunk of raw meat which he eagerly came over to grab dragging it back over next to Ebba where he began to dig in.
"Think he likes you." Cynthia said with a grin.
She finished up her own bowl then looked at the pot. "There's more if you want it." She said as she got herself a second serving.
Winter had finished his meal and was happily gnawing on the bone as he rested next to Ebba.
Cynthia turned to Winter and spoke a command in druid. Winter stood and took up a defensive stance next to Ebba.
"I'm going to go and check the entrance. Call out if you need anything ok."
Cynthia frowned and headed to the nearest tower. She climbed the tower the vines helping her until she finally reached the top. From there she could see clear back to the the town. She could also see the sea and a storm coming. Judging from what her foster mother the druid taught her about storms she figured it would be about an hour until the storm got to the fort. About that time she heard Ebba's voice....
Cynthia climbed down the tower jumping off about ten feet from the bottom. She landed on her feet and looked at Ebba. "I got some bad news... There's a storm heading right for us... should be here in about an hour..." Cynthia informed Ebba. "We have a few options.... We can try to get to the traders I spoke of but I'm not sure if we would get there before the storm caught up with us. There are some caves between here and there we could hold up in... Or we could just stay in the fort till the storm passes...the problem with stay in the fort is that this storm will take at least until the morning to pass over us and then we would have to move slow as not to catch up with the storm. I'm sure when you don't come back tonight your friend...and anyone else he might bring will be right on our trail with no headstart at all...I leave the choice to you.."
