Club Flicker is where she'd be bringing down the house in another day's time. As Synthe climbed into the limo that had come to retrieve them she couldn't help but squeal with glee. This tour was turning out to be a lot more awesome than anticipated. Terra wasn't half bad, was it?
"Are we staying in the Casino?" Synthe folded one leg over the other and curled into the seat of the limo, tapping two buttons to throw her agent on speaker phone.
"Er, well-" He began, but Synthe cut him off.
"No no, surprise me!" She gushed, gazing out of the window at Port Solinus as it went by. Wasn't there a whole subway system here?
"If you'd rather the casino over the Flophouse..."
Truth be told, Synthe didn't care. Both offered a different way to drink in Solinus City. She was starting to fall in love with Terra. Blue Heaven was a distant foggy memory that barely impacted her here. She was completely oblivious to her role in the recent high speed space chase of Carmen Dellevon. Her concerts were sold out and everyone was talking about the spectacular display the Xenomorph tour was able to offer. Even DJ Invasion was being chill.
Not to mention, here in Solinus City she'd meet a legend. It was true that one of her co-performers outranked her in the music scene. Nobody could compare with DJ Cryolight. They were part performance, part art, part music, and 100% Epic. Synthe felt ecstatically blessed to play beside them.
Oh, hello Solinus City!
This was more like the Terra she remembered.
The companion of Synthe Gridd aimed their faceless metallic helmet down at Zaria and chuckled. Synthe looked around for more falling people. There weren't any present. Maybe this was a fan who wanted an autograph?
He shoulders his backpack, looking around, as he looks up in time to see somebody fall out of the ceiling, wincing as they hit the ground. Ouch.
He's here to see the Synthe Gridd concert, and it appears he's in time, as the musician herself was here. That could wait, though, as he walks over to the person who fell from the ceiling. "Hey, uh, are you okay?"
"Miss Gridd?" He addressed the two. Synthe nodded and glanced over her shoulder. They had arrived right in the nick of time. The security agent moved a hair closer to her and addressed the crowd, "Let's keep it moving, folks!"
Synthe and her associate were escorted through the crowd.
There were a lot of people in Solinus City - and a huge military presence, to boot. It seemed a more systematically civilized place than Granpaix. Being the main landing point for Terra, it felt more like... well, Terra! She even spotted a MAEGA hat or two bobbing in the crowd. That was Aschen merchandise. She wasn't aware they still even had presence here. Maybe it was an ironic statement of anti-Aschen sentiment? Curious.
The party of three passed through the port, the terminals, the luggage, and out into a private car. They were headed to a hotel for the night. The next concert wasn't for another day, and was a late show at Club Flicker. Was Solinus City ready for the sounds of Synthe? She sure hoped so!
