Come on, one clear shot dammit Ichiro scowled mentally, ceasing his other attacks to conserve air. Reaching up with one hand as near to Tikaro's head as he could reach without letting go he curled his fingers and slammed his claws as deep as they could go, trying to get him to turn his head and present him with what he needed.

Ichiro's claws managed to find a hold on the spines that flared off Tikaro's head, but lost their grip just as quickly. Within then span of a second or two, Tikaro had shifted to his human forma and dived deeper, his deep tan skin half-blending in with the thick blue of the deeper water. He could only hope he'd get far enough away, but with his eyes and ears open, he'd make sure he knew if he didn't.

When Ichiro lost sight of Tikaro three bolts of plasma shot out in three different directions, mostly just as a guess as to which way he went before the drake propelled himself towards the surface with his wings, heading into the air to get some distance and then barelling towards shore, wanting his sword back.

The plasma super-heated the water, causing Tikaro to sustain some minor burns, but nothing serious. He looked up and behind him, only to see Ichiro break the surface and lift into the sky. Glad to know that the fight had become more balanced, Tikaro returned to his normal form and lifted to the surface, letting just his head break the waves for some air.

"Have you learned that you can protect her yet, or do we need to continue?"

Ichiro was on the shore, sword in hand. "Giving up already, after that big speech?" Ichiro called back, not even bothering to hold his side as it bled a little where Tikaro had bit him.

"I was teaching you, not ruining a friendship." He grumbled, then rose a bit more out of the water, his whole head and neck now exposed, while the rest of his body slid like a serpents just below the water's surface.

"Strange way of doing it." he said, resheathing his sword and putting a hand to his side, the curse of his kind, not being able to self heal, he would just have to wait it out.

The midnight-blue dragon slid up onto the beach, his tail dragging a line through the sand. He was lad that his wounds were already on the mend, even from the brief time they'd met with the ocean water.

"Strange, but the best way I know of. You ought to remember that you can fight as well as any dragon, because you have some advantages that my kind will never have, and vice versa."

"I see your point, here, let me help you." Ichiro said, walking up to Tikaro was the markings on his arms and back began to glow, preparring to heal his friend's wounds.

Tikaro flared his wings as Ichiro came over. "No need, my friend. The sea herself shall heal my wounds, and even still I may keep the scars as a memory of our friendship." He smiled, then lay on the sand and basked in the last rays of sunset. It was nice to share his knowledge with others, though he missed being at home.

"If you say so," he said, lowering his hand as the marking ceased to glow and he sat down on the ground. "I just miss being with them, but it's not like I can leave Paul." he said.

"Why can't he go with you?" Tikaro asked, one eyebrow lifting higher than the other. "Surely you could take him along with you in order to keep him safe until you find a way to reduce the risk he might pose to you should he pass on."

"He can fend for himself, but among her kind humans are not welcome, even outsiders are not welcome, at times I go anyway but I would not bring Paul." he said, looking down at the sand.

"Then bring him here. He's welcome to stay in my cave when you're gone, to keep him safe. And either way, you should be beside her. She's your bondmate, and you she keep her close."

"I do my best Tikarro, I do not fear for Paul when I am gone but too great a separation pulls on both of us." he said, moving to stand up, he needed to find something to eat again, so he would have energy to heal.

Tikaro stood and watched as the sun finally dipped below the horizon, swathing them both in shadows dark enough to rival Tikaro's scales. As he turned to look at Ichiro once more, his eyes dimly glowing a soft blue hue.

"I know how it feels. However, your wounds do not seem to be healing quite as rapidly as mine might, so go, get some rest. I'll not go anywhere anytime soon." With that, he slunk back to the sandstone cave that rose just above the sands of the beach.

"Clear skies Tikaro." Ichiro said before taking off to head home, hopefully to get some food and relax, maybe with Alliza if he was lucky.

The sun shined brightly down on the beautiful beach of Solinus, the waves lapping on the shore seemed all too peaceful. Not a cloud in the sky as the sun shined with birds cawing in the distance, truly one of those days one can relax and enjoy themselves. However, on that beach under that sun came a melodious song that seemed to take away all of the despair around it, filling it with life and love. The source of the song came from behind a rock outcropping near the water's shores..a bit of a hike to reach on foot if anyone tried to find the source of the song

HellShine raised herself from the smooth sand, some of it sticking on her arm, "Eh?" she pushed her sunglasses up and looked around. Someone was singing, or something was singing. She stood up and pulled her jacket (she was sitting on) along. Clad in a red two piece bikini, she made her way to the source of the song, curiosity always had the best of her. Always.

The singing would be coming from a single woman roughly the age of eighteen sitting along the rockline near a pool of water. The woman was beautiful, long black hair with a line of red going down the side with deep sea blue eyes, the voice of her song was pure of any nflection or pain as she sat under the sun.

However, she would look out of the corner of her eye and gasped loudly when she spotted HellShine and quickly ran behind a rock, a trident flashing into her hands and pointed at her "What are you doing here?! This place was supposed to be alone...what do you want?" She asked, her own blue two piece bikini slightly dirty from the rocks she was resting on

HellShine got a good look at the girl before she ran behind a rock, she wasn't going to friggin take advantage of her. For God's sake she wasn't that type of a girl. "What am I doing here?" she pressed a finger to her bottom lip, acting as if she was thinking hard, "Oh I don't know, I hear a sound of someone singing and I don't follow it?" she gasped dramatically, "Impossible."

She grinned slowly, taking a step towards her, "Ya know, this is a public place, I can come here whenever I wanna. I don't really want anything."

The woman looked at her warily but then sighed softly, placing the trident back against the rock "I know...I figured this place was hard enough to reach by land no one would come here. Guess I didnt think that through huh?" She asked herself and the woman before dusting herself off "Im Nancy...who are you?" she asked, not noticing that the tide was slowly coming in

HellShine smiled, "Apparently not," she said as she walked into the water. Only one step in and she ran back out, "Damn, that's cold!" she shivered, dusting her jacket and putting it back on. That was a sight to see, HellShine scared of cold water. Ha!

"Umm, Hi, I'm HellShine.. Don't you like, wanna come out?"

The woman smiled a little and shook her head, the tide rushing in rapidly and filled the outcrop Nancy rested on, but Nancy just sat down as a flash overcame the two of them. Though the flash held no effect for Hellshine, Nancy would be affected "No...come down here. The water is nice and it will warm up when you get used to it" She said, waving her down to the outcrop, the water beside her would be deep enough to jump into
