Setting

Taiyou Space is a large swathe of the Andromeda Galaxy controlled exclusive by the Taiyou Empire, her Shogunates, and agents acting under her behalf.
Reikai Sector (éį)

104th Imperial Armada
Fleet Strength: 750,000 Vessels
The Hyperspace Gate linking to the Ayenee sector of the Onyx Galaxy was starting to come to life, several indicators playing across an indicator screen as Admiral Tanaka checked the gate registry.
"Astral Gate is nearing completion in Ayenee, additionally we recieved this signal from the scout fleet Admiral Mifune dispatched." A Lieutenant said, handing the message to the Admiral.
Tanaka took the paper and eyed it ponderingly.

A voice played in Taiyou in the Admiral's head as he read the note, his own thoughts reading aloud as eyes scanned the text.
"We arrived at the Ayenee galaxy, and were immediately attacked by overwhelming force by local hostiles, as if they were expecting us. Expect heavy resistance.
-Adm. Mifune "
Tanaka clenched his fist, crinkling the note up and tossing it into a nearby disposal bin.
"I imagine the Imperial General headquarters has received the same missive, it will only be a matter of time before the Prince authorizes a full scale attack." Tanaka said, lowering himself in the command chair of the ITN 'Sendai' A Yamato class Battleship that served as the flag for this particular Armada.

The grip of the enigmatic figure stretched far and to his desired outcome he would not turn away. He would poke and prod the dragon until it awoke from its slumber fully and visit its wrath upon the people of Ayenee for his nefarious purposes. He would not allow the forces of peace to stall the avalanche he set in motion.
The Ayen stealth bombers, the Hounds decloaked as they moved and from each of their bomb bays was released the round orb so prevalent in this type of attack. Each bomber went into warp, boring through the celestial they had been diving at and vanished as their bomb entered warp and a split second later each would be in the planet's atmosphere.
Each bomb would detonate with the force of nearly twelve-thousand megatons. At the poles and spaced evenly across the surface of the planet. Upon detonation every single microbe would immolate. The seas would boil off and molten rock and dust would be cast off as the planet's crust and mantel cracked. Even the atmosphere was blown away as six huge plumes of liquid rock erupted into space. The planet bleed out its liquid interior.
No person living on the planet would survive and this planet was not alone in its fate. Over the course of the next hour five other planets would be hit with similar results. Millions, perhaps billions would die and once lush worlds would be reduced to smoldering, ash covered remnants that would never again be able to support life. This was only the beginning...

ITN Kaze no Tani
Shokaku Class Carrier
The orders had been clearly given by the Imperial General Headquarters. Admiral Katamura was given her first assignment as the supreme commander of the 23rd Imperial Armada. Ten million combat vessels assembled across a vast swathe of space ready to launch. However, given the nature of the target, it was only determined that Katamura was going to take a modest task force of about twenty thousand vessels.
She clasped her hands behind her back as she surveyed the vast blackness of space before her. Her eyes narrowed.
"All ships check in!" She called out.
The radio began to call in it's reply, satisfied with everything, Katamura moved towards the Captain's chair of the Kaze no Tani, and slowly she lowered herself into the chair, hands grasping the controls firmly. They were going to deliver a withering payload of kinetic kill vehicles to Gaia, where they would be unleashed upon the Iskjerne Bay to crush the barbarians that attacked them.
"T-Minus ten minutes to hyperlaunch!" One of the bridge officers called out.
She smiled, having taken the Kaze no Tani to hell and back, she was confident this ship would win her, yet another battle.

The Anomaly exploded into a web of energy, and a single Taiyou Yamato class Battleship shot fourth on a collision course with the incoming ship. It was in the throes of a deceleration burn, but was careening towards the ship in an astronomical collision course.
One by one several smaller hyperspace signatures flitted into existence, a handful of Naginata class cruisers, in escort formation followed the course of the Yamato class battleship.
"Initiate dialing protocol, Milky Way Astral gate." Katamura ordered.
Like a well oiled machine, the bridge crew of the Kaze no Tani began to broadcast their command codes to the astral gate.
"Main and Auxiliary show clear, subspace ping confirmed!" Lieutenant Kobayashi called out.
"Signal green! Initiating dialing sequence!"
Roughly a dozen Gynoid assistants were seated at a line of consoles just adjacent to Katamura, they promptly reached their hands over the keyboard, and their fingers began to split into dozens of smaller fingers, typing in code at a blazing speed.

Katamura watched them carefully, and then her eyes moved to the command lines scrolling across the screen.
"Positive connection confirmed! Initializing now!" Another voice called out, as the Astral gate before them lit up with the brilliance of ten thousand suns.

"Event horizon stable!" Another officer called out.
Katamura nodded slightly, and then gestured forward.
"All ships, engage!"
In the span of about an hour, twenty thousand Taiyou warships crossed the threshold into the portal.
Angry blue flares of planar energies erupt in otherwise desolate blackness of deep space at the border as Myrkul tore its way out of the Immaterium. A small cloud of fragmented strips of distended space the creature stitched behind it with deft arrangements of flares tracing the sutures. That eagle bearing obelisk is what emerged at that far-flung border where Taiyou space met its rival as well as another the Overbeing had heard of but had not yet encountered. It did not consider the Taiyou enemies but neither did it allies. As the small erupted nebula of torn space slowed to a quiver it pulled the sutures shut to heal the space once more. As the nebula's vanes rushed in as blood draining away it hurled an avalanche of energy-hungry concretions of dense metals and impure cognizance crystal geodes past its aft. As they were not going quickly Myrkul did not concern itself with them overmuch. Though as the psychic locomotors ebbed on huge circles on its aft it reigned in the largest of the Daemon-hostile objects for harvesting.
The Imperial Aquila at its fore a gigantic gold edifice that composed its sole decoration. Its allegiance pointed toward the Umbral sector, watching.
