Blackjack had only a few seconds to act as the paralytic agent worked its course through his body. So, he decided to do something he'd always wanted to and raised his hands into the universal gesture of dislike towards another party. He was pretty sure the Aschen had heard of this gesture, if not seen it first hand on many occasions. He was able to say something before the paralysis agent set in however. "Not really. Say do you know how much the Taiyou pay for classified Aschen secrets?" Then he froze, unable to move, although he fixed the woman with a long stare and if one were able to look under his mask, they'd see that he was smiling.

Madeline W. perked up. "The Taiyou?" She said before she turned to face him, narrowing her eyes. "Throw him in a hole and keep him on the Paralytic, I want him frozen and drooling until I made the determination." She said before she turned to walk off. That was of course before the Scientist drugged Blackjack with a sleeping agent, and when he woke, he would likely find himself now strapped to a bed, sprawled out in a secured room, there was wood panel finish, and there was a window overlooking Caprica City, Madeline was there as well, as the doctors moved to bring Blackjack to the world of Consciousness, while two Prison guards were preparing Blackjack with handcuffs and ankle cuffs, a young woman in a suit was standing there.

"The Infamous Blackjack, you'll feel groggy as the drugs wear off, You've been out a week, ready to face Triad?" She asked, as one of the guards placed a Mana inhibition collar around his neck.

Marlene McGregor continued to smile. "I'm Marlene Angelique, Assistant District Seeker for the Ministry of Law." She said calmly, inspecting her prisoner. "Better hurry, you'll be late."

Blackjack looked over his restraints as he was woken up. He was initially groggy, but it was quickly being replaced with alertness. "Oh, I'm going to face Triad? You know, like the Chinese Triad? I'd rather not be dragged before a group of Chinese mob bosses, thank you very much, although they might actually be wearing worse clothing than I am for once. Guess it'll be a fun experience." He had memories of what had happened a week before, and decided to try it once more. So, almost as soon as the grogginess began to wear off, he started to bite his tongue again, this time without making noises to alert the other guards, although it really tested is endurance as he held in the noise. The cut was made, now all he had to do was severe his portion of the tongue off.

Madeline W. was proactive, each time he tried to bite his tongue, he would likely find that the nanites mended the cut almost as soon as it was made, only serving to make the biting a painful experience as it healed every time it was bitten. However that was unknown to the others as Blackjack was unbound from his restraints, and escorted by two Burly guards down the hallway into the Triad room, with corrections officers, Marlene, and medical technicians following, Blackjack would be moved to sit at the bench before the Triad, and Marlene of course sat on the other bench.

There was no Jury, however there were several armed guards, and a handful of people. Now it was time to wait for the Judge to preside over the Triad.

Naazmat Chakladar appeared behind the dais at the front of the Triad room. Chakladar was a slight woman in her late fifties with a dark complexion and a gold piercing in the center of her forehead, dressed in the dark grey robes of the Aschen judiciary. Her sharp brown eyes fell on Blackjack for a few moments as she announced, "Triad now begins!" Glancing at the documents at the lectern, Chakladar read from the sheet in a clear, emotionless tone. "Mr. Blackjack, you are charged with murder in the first degree, terrorism, conspiracy to commit terrorism, murder of a public official, kidnapping, and false imprisonment. How do you answer to the charges?"

Elizabeth Fern The cold weather bit through the thin hoody she wore, whipping at the fabric and sending her teeth to chattering. Clenching her jaw, she shoved her hands further into her pockets, closing her eyes briefly as another sting of the breeze brought tears to her eyes. It was cold, her head hurt, and to be perfectly honest she didn't have much of an idea of where she was going. She'd woken up in one of those moods today.

Happened a lot when she dreamed about other people's memories.

Rolling her shoulders, she glanced skyward, hoping to God that it didn't rain, and ducked her head against the wind as it gusted past her, ignoring the shops along the way.

Fucking Wing City. She hated it here.

Sheila Nagala rested her hands somewhat sprawled out as she loomed across a flickering three-dimensional holographic display. Silently she stared at the flashing red sphere of light that seemed to mill down the streets of blue shimmering buildings. Nagala had rounded up those that were loyal to her so she could execute her proverbial revenge.

"No one wins a fight with me and lives to tell the tale." She said, the blue light reflecting from her face, and giving the illusion that Nagala's pale porcelain skin was aflame with blue light.

"Admiral, we're in position, the Target is walking down Moriarty street as we speak." A lieutenant reported, as Nagala grinned.

"Disengage the engines and engage repulser lifts, prepare a team, we're going to snatch this woman off the street."

Suddenly, it would be as if the air was suddenly charged with energy, a static charge filling the surroundings before blue flickering lights seemed to shimmer above the street, maybe a few blocks down.

The Light approached, hovering above the city, blinking and flashing, by estimates, one could make out a vague bulbous shape, slickened in a glossy black finish.

The Lights were now directly above the next intersection.

Elizabeth Fern had her head down, eyes glancing upward only occasionally to make sure she didn't go running into a light pole. Her steps were quick and measured, as if she didn't want to waste time with the trip to nowhere.

The sudden appearance of light had her looking up rather sharply, frozen to the spot. Her hands came out of her pockets, fingers clenching in towards her palm as she looked upwards for the source. Her heart rate picked up a tad, instincts telling her to book it in the opposite direction.

So she did. She ran as fast as her skinny legs could carry her.

Sheila Nagala laughed and then watched, focusing on the red dot moving down the street.

"Haha! I love it when they run! Like roaches from the Exterminator."

Suddenly a deafening crack was heard, and three brilliant plumes of blue light jutted out the rear of the craft, burning brightly for a moment, then subsiding as the lights began to give chase.

The streets were then illuminated by a brilliant blue-white spotlight, shining directly on Elizabeth.

"Run, bitch run." Nagala said, her face contorting with a grin.

The light remained fixated on Liz as the ship gave chase, then with a roar, it flew over her, turning in the light of the city, which revealed a sleek, glossy black hull, to face off with Liz once more, the lights of the city reflecting on the underside of the ship's inky finish.

"Like pigs to the slaughter."

"Shit!" she breathed as the light encompassed her. She didn't know what it meant, only knew that she needed to get away from it by whatever means necessary.

She nearly stumbled when she saw the massive structure soar over her, making the ground tremble with its deafening roar. She skidded to a halt, backtracking, wondering if it was worth it to try to run in the other direction.

"Look!" she hollared up at the massive ship. "I don't have any money! In fact, I'm pretty useless! Scotty, if you're up there, I have no interest in being beamed up thank you very much!"

Sheila Nagala was besides herself at this point, cackling and laughing before the ship settled and it's engines disengaged, the ship was now silent, hovering there as a column of purple light shot from below the ship, illuminating the street as a ring of light was seen above, at the bottom of the ship belching fourth the column of light.

Three figures slid through the luminary tube, landing on the ground with a dull thud, all three men were clad in strange outfits. These sleek blue-light trimmed suits resembled something out of a Scifi movie, one of the men then shouted.

"Get on your knees!" He bellowed through a distorted vocoder, making his voice almost sound autotuned.

One of the strange suited guys laughed, then he engaged his blink packs, flickering out of existence and appearing thirty-some odd feet away from Elizabeth.

They were toying with her, like a cat toying with it's prey, after he appeared he discharged a single shot with his rifle, a blue beam of light striking the pavement in front of Elizabeth, liquefying the stone, and tar into a pool of molten rock a few feet in diameter, the other two began to walk forward slowly.

All while Nagala was watching on a large Viewscreen, laughing before a metallic clunk echoed from the ship, and a single Disruptor battery turret descended from the bowel of the ship, hurling a streak of green towards the street a few feet behind the liquefied pool, which too liquefied the dirt and asphalt, but left a much larger pool of molten rock, nearly blocking the entire street, with the Armor clad individual at the other end of the pool.

She cried out the moment the bullet of sorts struck the pavement in front of her. She skidded to a stop, retreating quickly before turning to stare at the men who were coming her way. "Listen!" she shouted, turning and pointing an angry finger at the pair of them.

"I don't know who you guys think you are, but if you.." She felt her breath choke off when the ship itself blew a spot up in the street not far from them. She didn't know what to say. What was she to do?

"What the hell do you want from me?!"

The Men continued to approach, one of them even went so far as to step into the pool of molten rock, wading through it as a flickering white skin of energy could be seen. The other two were within a few feet of Elizabeth, before they reached out to grab her, likely flooding her with memories of Training regimens and alien worlds similar to Nagala's it was likely the stories of each man played out when they made contact with her, the third had emerged from the molten pool, only to follow as the two, if they managed to make the grab, would begin to escort Elizabeth towards the column of light.

Let the alien abduction begin.

She struggled. Really she did, but when they touched her, it was like a blinder had been put up. She felt her knees go weak as their simultaneous memories assaulted her senses, flooding her with feelings and sensations that were not her own. She slumped against the one, if only slightly, before attempting to correct herself and pull away.

No use.

She was dimly aware of the light ahead, and tried to focus on it, to return to her own mind, but she was floating so freely through the thoughts of the others that she couldn't find anything to grasp hold of. It was so intense she felt nauseated.

The other two were within a few feet of Elizabeth, before they reached out to grab her, Their powered suits, offering armor, specialized fabric, electronics and a gel layer between their skin and hers, and so they did not have the opportunity to share their memories. And so they began to head back the third had emerged from the molten pool, only to follow as the two, if they managed to make the grab, would begin to escort Elizabeth towards the column of light. And then, once inside they began to float upwards, as if gravity had been removed, and drawn into the belly of the beast above them.

The phrase 'resistance is futile' screamed through her mind as the pair grabbed her firmly by the upper arms. She struggled, trying to get away from them as desperately as she could manage, but damn. Those suits they wore didn't provide an opportunity for her to break free of their grasp.

Once inside the vessel, a darkened, neon-trimmed interior seemed to greet the eyes of the men on the ship, and Elizabeth. It was almost completely alien, with a glossy black interior, and flickering holographic screens. Silently, the men began to escort the woman through the hangar bay, which had everything from tanks, to a handful of armored vehicles, with crewmen working on various vehicles. It was then they entered the CIC.

The CIC was a large room with a massive flickering image of Terra in the center, various Lieutenants working on blue-colored holographic screens, a female holographic AI Avatar standing besides a familiar raven-haired woman.

"I'm glad you could make it." She said calmly, hands laced behind her back as the men shoved Elizabeth forward, pushing her towards the raven haired woman.

"It's amazing when the tables turn, isn't it?"

In the back of her mind, Liz wondered if she was dreaming. Perhaps she had fallen asleep at Gambits, or simply eaten something bad the night before. Whatever the reason, she was almost sure that what was happening wasn't reality. That is, until she entered the CIC with her captors, and heard the voice of the woman who seemed to be behind the whole operation.

Her hands tightened to fists at her sides, feet stumbling to catch up with her when they rudely shoved her forward. She straightened, attempting to maintain some semblance of dignity, and leveled a firm stare at the woman who had spoken.

Ah, this again.

"So you kidnapped me to prove a point. No maturity wasted on your part. I'm impressed. I didn't think you were capable of being this petty, but obviously I was wrong."

Liz glowered. "Sure your daddy would be proud if he wasn't dead."
