Meet the children. She moved closer and looked them over. She hoped they didn't expect a hug straight off. The ages seemed to vary from ages three to ages twelve. Quit a range. She glanced to her husband, then managed a smile. "Hallo Kinder. Ich bin Ilsa, deine Mutter." She said politely.

"Stellen Sie sich vor, bitte, ältesten zum jüngsten. " She instructed and made an effort to keep up as all twenty obediently did just that, taking a step forward as they introduced themselves.

Interesting.

Matthias stood by, smiling all the while, as the children introduced themselves to his Ilsa, Rueger moving around to stand by her as they did, holding her hand. "Was du denkst?" He certainly wished for her to like them, thinking that it be only fair that they have a mother as well as a father, but he knew how she could get a bit picky at times, and considering that they were xenos...

Perhaps that wouldn't be the best thing to mention, at all.

"Sie sind sehr neugierig auf du."

Ilsa smiled at the presentation they made. Even the smallest was tidy and clean. It was lvoely. A bunch of tidy little ones who kept their area clean habitually, it seemed. "Mir gefällen Sie." She said simply, loud enough to be heard. "Sie sind fein Kinder."

"Sehr gut." He commented, kissing her shoulder at that, more than pleased that she liked the little ones. They did so want a mother of sorts, and whilst Ilsa might not be the first choice for that, she was the first in line as far as he was concerned. Besides, he didn't want to be a father with anyone else. "Sie is unsere andere Kinder."

Of course, it needn't go without saying that their little girls came first.

"Sie ist." She agreed and looked them over. Two little girls were hard enough. Ilsa surveyed the room and took a seat at a chair and then glanced around the room, straightening drawings and the like with her power, so ti was proper. She resisted the urge to tidy the desks as well.

Young Josef walked over and took a seat also, if cautiously. Teh other children soon followed, except the toddlers. Coen had already managed to get on one of the older childrens lap, but little Beate looked her new mother over, before liftign her arms in the iniversal demand of a child to be picked up.

Josefheld his breath, then relaxed as Ilsa lifted the child to her lap.

Matthias watched, quite pleased, as he stood nearby, wanting to see how Ilsa interacted with these new little ones, hoping that they wouldn't upset her. They were children, but children that happened to be a whole lot more suited to her special circumstance than any other. Lab life had left them imprinted with a sort of inherent tendency towards obsessive compulsiveness in regards to tidiness.

The sight of Ilsa with one of them in her lap gave him some hope, letting the child touch her so, as he eagerly watched to see if anything else quite so revolutionary occurred.

Beate examined Ilsa closer and reached to put her hand on Ilsa's bare cheek. For the little one's own good, she stopped that. the three year old looked her over and then her appearance shifted into on that looked like a mix of Matthias and Ilsa.

Ilsa's eyes narrowed, but she did not dump the child to the ground. Instead, her gaze landed on her husband. "Erklärst." And it best be good, her tone said.

Very, very good.

"Sie sind Xensch." Special ones at that. All of them could shift, and could shift quite well, but they were all undoubtedly loyal to the God Emperor and to Matthias. Her husband approached to kneel down by her legs, both in a submissive gesture to Ilsa and to comfort little Beate, a gloved hand stroking her newly-shifted hair. "Aufgewachsen hier unter meiner Aufsicht."

He glanced over to Ilsa from where he knelt, a hand soon placed on her knee, "Sie ist Erutisch." A glance to little Beate again, "Verschieber."

Xenos! Erutin xenos that shifted shape, and had grown up here, in these labs, raised by Matthias. Tiny aliens...though Matthias would ensure they were proper, and were raised to believe in Kampf as all should. Hm.

She looked them over once more, then stood, Beate in her arms. "Zeig mir den ältesten Raum des Kindes, und das jüngste Kind im Zimmer." She woudl know by that, and, if she must, a touch to the oldest child's mind, though she hesitated on doing such a thing even then.

Josef jumped up straight away and quietly spoke. "Ich bin der älteste mit meine Schwester, Lena, Mutter. Beate und Coen sind die Jüngsten. Ich werde den Weg zeigen." Ilsa nodded to him. She'd follow him.

Matthias would accompany the small party, trailing after the two as Josef showed Ilsa about, careful to make sure that the boy didn't do anything to upset her too badly. Of course the children were bound to make mistakes somewhere or another, it was simply how children were, and Ilsa understood that.

But these children were a special case, considering their blood - likely something that didn't buy them any second chance with his love.

"Du bist Ihre Mutter?"

Josef showed her the room he shared with the next oldest boy, and looked it over. Clean, tidy, and the pictures on the wall weren't crooked. There was nothing on the floor, and the desk had nothing out of place. Even the corner of the floor looked clean, along with along the base of the wall. She ran a finger over the desk. Clean.

Impressive. Josef didn't chat as he showed her to Beate and Coen's room. While not as exactly clean, and having a toy box rather than a desk, it was still very tidy, given two three year old were the primary caretakers. They had even made their bed as best they could.

She glanced to Matthias, then to Beate, who had spent the entire trip trying to touch Ilsa's skin, clearly viewing it as a game of sorts. Hm.

"Ich bin Ihre Mutter." She agreed.

"Das freut mich." Matthias announced as he moved, were it she would allow him to kiss her briefly. No doubt the little ones would find these acts of affection just as disgusting as their little girls. "Du bist eine ausgezeichnete Mutter, Liebling." Oh so very much so, he believed.

And now the children were already beginning to base themselves, however partially, off of Ilsa as well. It was endearing.

She smiled and allowed the kiss, then set Beate down to play, and took her husband's hand. She had twenty children to get to know, after all. That was quite a lot. Where on earth had Mathias found so many xenos?

And how did he put up with them trying to touch his face. Horrible habit that. They'd not like it if they tried with her, sadly.

The Crown-Princess had certainly been aware of what occupied Josef's mind of late, having thought of it as quite the blessing in her own mind. She hadn't really thought it possible, actually, that her consort might have been rendered sterile, whether because of his own nature or the simple fact that he was her consort. Still, the past few months had been amazing, with him here, and with the blessing in her own belly.

Of course, the Emperor saw things rather differently.

Josef had decided, one day, to take a trip with Wing to visit their daughter, and speak to her on such matters, having noted that she appeared in public less and less, and that rumors had begun to fly as to her condition. Perhaps they were just that - rumors, but Josef had yet to see for himself. Such was why he waited in one of his old rooms for his daughter to arrive, not terribly pleased with the matter on the whole but knowing that there was no alternative.

Viktoria had inherited his spirit.

Wing accompanied him in concern, has suspected rather strongly that the rumors were, in fact truth. This was not exactly what she could call an ideal confrontation of course. No doubt Viktoria was terribly pleased, but with her beginning to show, well, something had to be done. The child, if the consort was announced shortly, would have to be raised elsewhere, and Wing simply couldn't begin to think of an appropriate place.

Nor could she find a solution that would satisfy all involved. Augustus, sweet boy that he was, simply wasn't ready for the social expectations that being Viktoria public consort would entail. This would be terribly tricky. "We must be gentle, darling. She...she is your daughter, but she's also a woman deeply in love."

Josef nodded where he sat, the two sharing a classical Scatterran loveseat in one of the many sitting rooms of the palace, the Belkan moving a hand into her lap. She was still his daughter, in his mind, still that little girl, and he knew that he had to overcome that thought. He would be a grandfather soon, something he could join Wing in celebrating. "How would you wish for it to be handled, Wing?" He asked, looking to the table, the flower arrangement, before them. "If you were the one with child?"

Though Erutin society was so very different from his own. It was hard to imagine how such things were.

Viktoria waited outside of the chamber, just so, in one of the many passages in the building, quietly listening in one the two's conversation. The imperial daughter wanted to know what she was walking in on before she arrived.

Wing considered it a moment. "If I were the one with child? I would want to keep the babe and raise it as my own, proudly." she confessed. "I'm not sure her consort is up to the public strain of being announced, but there must be a way to handle it. His mother in his form, perhaps." Wing wasn't sure.

"It isn't easy, I know. She's still our little girl." Wing confessed and placed her hand over his, squeezing it. "It feels so soon that she grew up." Too soon. Wing still fondly recalled give the little girl rides around the ballrooms on her back and Viki's squeals of delight as Josef walked next to them, to ensure his little girl didn't fall.

That was part of the problem, her consort's gentle nature. As much as Josef appreciated that Viktoria had someone who treated her well for who she was, there was some small issue with how he could handle publicly proving her consort. Viktoria would not doubt try to hide and shelter him. "I miss my little girl, Wing." He whispered quietly, sadly. It felt like it was but a moment and she was already an adult, a woman all of her own. Josef almost felt cheated.

"I miss our little Viky." Not that they had lost her at all.

The Emperor looked over to his wife and lay his head on her shoulder, not sure if he wished to wait to betray how he felt until after the talk with Viktoria was done, or if he would simply push for as quickly as he could. "I pray that she doesn't hold this against us." It was something that honestly frightened him, losing the love of his daughter.

The princess frowned from where she stood, hidden, before quietly opening the door, making sure not to make a sound behind them as she closed with the two. Viktoria wore a dress the showed off her consort's gift, but still retained her Imperial aura. She was, however, unsure whether she wished to hug the both of her parents from behind, or move in front of them.

Wing kissed his head. "We can have another, some time." She assured him. "Though a child younger than our grandchildren will be odd." She smiled as Viky came in and turned to greet her. "Viky! You are looking to be in good health." Wing said with a smile and held open her arms.

She treated Viky like the girl was her own daughter by flesh. A good daughter, though this pregnancy business was quite the hiccup. "How is Augustus doing?" Wing never saw the consort, so shy was he. He never seemed to want ot leave his puzzles in Viky's rooms.

"We can." He echoed, knowing that it would not be Viky though. He would still love them, perhaps all the more for being Wing's child as well. Such a delightful thing that would be, to start a true family with her. It would be odd to have children younger than grandchildren, but they were practically immortal after all. Josef was soon shocked out of his thought, however, by the arrival of his daughter, which he did not expect.

The princess moved into Wing's arms, happy to be there, nuzzling the other's shoulder and making sure to give ample room for her belly. "Thank you mother, he's doing very well." And he was, as always, being pampered and spoiled rotten at her hand. Of course, such treatment would soon pale in comparison to how she treated her own children.

Josef stood, moving to offer his arms as well, which his daughter eagerly settled into. "Daddy." She spoke, her face buried in his chest. The Emperor looked up to his wife at that, silently asking how he could dare oppose such a thing.

They didn't, couldn't, really. They were her parents, and surely such laxness would be excusable? Wing sighed and looked to the daughter of her heart. "Viky? We think it may be time to...announce your pregnancy. And with it, your consort." Augustus would have to hold up somehow. Perhaps he was stronger than he seemed.

"I don't think we can get away with not confirming the rumors for much longer. And...we thought you might want to raise the child as your own." Though so, at least. Wing almost hoped not, but hoped so at the same time. It was an odd dichotomy.

She ran her hand over Viky's hair. "But of course, it is your decision." And they could not force this strong willed woman into anything.

She sighed, the woman finding herself between the two that had raised her, meant the world to her for so much of her life. The thought of announcing her pregnancy was an easy one, and pointing to the father would be even simpler. She was so very proud of her Augustus, but it was what would come with it that would be hard, and would hurt him, in some way. "Twins." She added, softly. "I'm having twins." And she couldn't wait. They would be such lovely, beautiful children.

Even though she knew that they couldn't, if they were girls, how Viky wanted them to look like Wing.

The princess pulled her mother and father back to their seats, wanting to sit between them. "... my August is... well. Shy doesn't fit it. He's terrified of crowds, of noise." Josef sighed at that, simply taking on of Viktoria's hands and squeezing it. She would always be his girl.

"... if it's what you want, Viky, we'll have him here. Somehow." He'd hopefully shape up, and not force Viktoria to keep him hidden all the time.

Wing smiled and took the other hand, squeezing it as well. "We may use a body double Viky, if that's okay." She said quietly "You'd have to pretend he was Augustus, for the public. Could you, and Augustus handle that?" If not then Augustus would definitely need to shape up. They couldn't have him being so hidden!

It wouldn't do. "We can try and adjust parts of the palace for him, of course, but Viky...." Wing didn't know how to put it. Augustus was a very special boy....but he as trouble on so my levels. "He'll need to get used to daily life outside of your rooms." Not doubt he would hate that, but it could be done.

It had to be done. "Can we at least announce him?"

She supposed it was a necessity that he become more open. He needed to be, if he wanted to be her consort. Thus, after a few, intense moments of deliberation, the princess spoke, squeezing both hands as she did. "I... yes, let's announce him. I'd rather the story be by him than by any other." She would proudly claim his children, even if he couldn't come out in public all of the time. "I am fine with a double, if it's needed."

Josef patted her hand, knowing that it probably wasn't easy for his daughter to deal with this sort of situation. "We were thinking of Augustus' mother, someone you know and trust." Someone that Viktoria could be comfortable around, and someone who knew Augustus' little mannerisms and traits, to make it convincing.

"I can start teaching him, I promise mom."
