Setting
The Æthereal Plane is coexistent with Miðgarðr and, often, other planes as well. It acts like a viscous fluid, flowing and warping through reality as the spirit flows by both whim and will. Miðgarðr itself is visible from the Æthereal Plane, but it appears muted and indistinct, its colors blurring into each other and its edges turning fuzzy. Only on a clear day can you just make out the heavens above and the worlds below.
