There were many a'men who looked meager that walked into the Grinning Ghoul, with its high columns in laden engravings of devils, angels, and people of the mortal realm alike. Columns which crawled into high ceilings and spiderwebbed to touch eachother so delicately. Columns, which if viewed one hundred yards away, you would think you could tip over with a thumb. It was sturdier than a colosseum, however, and stronger than a hundred thousand men. There were no spiderwebs in the high rafters of the ceilings of the Grinning Ghoul, only chandeliers which hung far down to cast light on what was comparatively small people.

There were tables as well, though they seemed longer and to the standard wasn't two chairs but four and they all lined neatly to the bar, which was a rich red wooden color, though the woman behind it had even richer redder lips. Each table had a technological interface, which flickered and hovered in bright blue.

So, when the doors opened, it didn't draw too much attention, because the extravagance wasn't present when one left, but when one entered, and it didn't take much for one Ben Fenn to feel very out of place when he entered.

It was almost a B-Line that the young man in an overcoat with boots up to his knees took, before he'd stopped and decided his time was better spent weaving through the columns in a darker more sideswept route. He'd sat down not long after, with a mortified salute covering his eyes, and ordered just the, "Most piss best drink you've got, because the way this place looks then, they've better be grand."

Delilah smiled. Her ice blue eyes seemed to almost glow in the barlight. "Welcome to the ghoul, darlng." She said as she turned to him, every movement smooth and seducing. She bit the corner of her lip with her fang as she sized up the newcomer, looking him up and down. "Oh, they are. I'll bring you something that will surely sate your... Thirst." She winked at him, turning around to make the drink.
It was no wonder the chalice that sat atop the bar for tips was full of all manner of coin and paper money, being deposited by the many travelers that sat at the bar. Among them was a massive, armored, boisterous man with olive skin and an orange mohawk.
"OI, Delilah" He shouted, slapping some coin on the counter. Several empty containers sat next to the man, along with a plate of food and some broken glass. "I'ave another, luv." She responded, though her voice couldn't be heard over the bar chatter, unlike the armored man. She dropped his order off before walking over to ben's seat, placing a crystal glass containing a dark liquor that had a slightly sweet aroma over the smell of strong alcohol. "Nah mate, I'll die of poisonin' just to watch that arse walk away each time." Said the armored man to another patron that sat nearby. He howled like an animal before tugging the cork off of the jug. Delilah smiled, and leaned over the bar at Ben, giving him quite the view of her chest. "It's a favorite around here, lemme know how you like it, handsome. And if you need... anything, let me know." The suggestive tone of her words would leave much to the imagination as she stood back up to return to her duties around the bar.

Ben looked down ever so slightly, attempting to make an inconspicuous attempt at glancing to two orbs of joyful sunshine. "Think it's my new favorite, too." he murmured, but then flashed surprise when he'd found she'd delivered a drink to him. "Fuckin' heady. You and the drink, love!" he cried, as she walked away.

With a grin one could play a symphony on, he looked around, shoulders shrinking a little when he'd seen the lot of the fellows that rounded the bar. Fingers gripped around the handle, Ben poured the house special directly into his esophagus before looking to the big orange-haired fellow.

"You're a lot of paddies of drunk fucks. Ale cheap here?" he chirped. "Must make yore money off the quantity and the pretty lady with ferries on her chest?"

Lukas slammed down his jug after a long drain, some of the liquid splashed out as he wiped his face on his forearm. After a loud belch he looked over at the man, chuckling. "Aye. T'booze is great, prices are even better, and..." He turned to eye Delilah as she bent down to grab a bottle from the cooler. "Well, y'got eyes." He took another swig from his bottle before continuing. It was becoming apparent he needed booze almost as much as he needed air to breathe. "It's the only place thats got shite that'll get me drunk too." Lukas banged on his armor, where his liver would be. "Thing's too strong. Everywhere else has shite that might as well be water. But Delilah here? She know's what I like, don't yeh, sweetness?" She blew a kiss his way, but was otherwise busy fulfilling orders. "Onna these days, gurlie. I'm gonna sling you over meh shoulder and run off into the night."

"Lady like that don't like any one of you fat smelly bastards. All for show. And a damn good show, too!" Ben hollered. "And the drinks ain't bad, I guess."

His eye turned to Lukas' tower of empty mugs, and the corner of his mouth grew in depth a little more. "Damn." he said. "Sure I could drink you under the table if your stomach weren't bigger than my body and your intestine won't leapt out and strangle me, but in a case of man to man then direct proportions ain't taken into consideration."

He took his own again, as if it were an urgent matter, and poured it directly down his tract. It became rather apparent that getting drunk was the goal, and he had experience doing so before. He'd let a thumbtack he'd been keeping on the edge of his mouth into the tip chalice, and looked again to Lukas.

"You'd consider injecting it. Can do that, y'know. Get straight to the point without the tongue rot."

Lukas let out a thunderous laugh, both at the idea that the man could drink more than him, and at the suggestion of injecting his booze.
"Sorreh lad, if yer worried about tongue rot and all that, I don't think you can hold yer own with me in a game of drink." He arm swept the stack of empty containers aside, sending them cascading onto another patron's area of the bar.
"Better men 'ave died tryin'. So 'ave at it, wot kind of proportions you want? 2, 3, 4, to one o'yer drinks?" The gauntlet had been laid down. Lukas was prepared to begin the drinking game despite the amount of alcohol he had already ingested. "I promise my innards won't leap out and attack ye. Hell, maybe it'll put put some hair on yer jibblies. Wot ye wanna wager?"

While he spoke, Delilah came to empty the overflowing tip jar. As she reached inside to begin taking out some bills when suddenly she recoiled, clutching her finger as a scarlet orb formed at the tip. she hissed, looking back into the jar as if to find something that would have bitten her. "Ow! What was that?!" she said, still clutching her finger.

"Maybe it's a love bite, for being so lovely." Ben said dumbly to Delilah. He just wanted a place to put his tack, not to make the poor girl bleed. He picked a napkin up and shook it at her, for her trouble. Then he turned to Lukas.

"We can wager the tab, I suppose. How y'do this usually? Since you're so versed. You don't usually just drink someone until they pass out, do you? You play a word game or something, like ice breakers with alcohol?"

Lukas gave the man an awkward look, raising a brow. "Are ye sure you wanna do this, lad?" he asked with a grin. "I've run up quite th'bill and I don't think yer ready fer this. 'Aven't ye had drinking contest b'fore? It's last man standin', mate. Give yer money to the lovely lady, and whoever wins get their money back." Lukas took another drink from his jug, not even pausing before the drinking game commenced.
Lukas tossed a card onto the table which was soon taken by Delilah after having nursed the prick on her finger. "3 to 1, luv." Lukas said to her with a devilish grin on his face. "Sounds good, right? Meh three t'yer one? Good thing I warmed up b'fore ye got here."

Soon afterwards, Delilah arrived with a tray, placing it in front of the Armored man. On it sat two drinks of pitch black liquor, strong and pungent. One drink was sized normally, the other came in a glass mug that held, as he requested, 3 times as much.

Lukas slid the chair out next to him and gestured in the chair's direction. " 'ave a seat, let's get bladdered."

Guy had a very stern look about him, his face showed no emotion and his skin looked pale and cold. He was always well dressed and despite his intentions each day, he always looked at least a little classy. Old habit maybe, or maybe he wanted thugs and what not to underestimate him. Yes that would give him a chance to finally let out his frustration with the new Assassins and Hit-men. It got quite annoying when they didn't cooperate or attempted to do something stupid like break the rules. Sure it was fun to have an easy to win brawl with someone but not when the reason is because they're too stupid to use common sense.

The Korean despised his boss, the leader of the whole organisation, he found him to be, naive and lazy. There was so much more he could do with the Organisation but he would never change his mind on keeping things the way they were. So what better way to solve the problem then by killing him?

His hands rested in the pockets of his clean, black pants and he casually entered The Grinning Ghoul. Voices echoed throughout the not so busy area and he kept in mind to not get too comfortable. Hopeful this place would have someone that could help him with his plan to exterminate his boss.

"Welcome to the Ghoul, my handsome friend." Came a sultry voice from behind the bar. Delilah emerged from behind a scarlet curtain that lead to an employees-only section of the bar. The click clack of the woman's heels echoed through the relatively quiet bar. There were only a few patrons scattered about, mostly sitting in dark corners of the bar. She leaned over the bar in front of Guy, her ruby red lips smiling wide at the Korean.
"Haven't seen you around here before." She said as she eyed him up and down, her every action alluring and seductive. "I would have remembered you." She bit the corner of her lip, sliding a hand under the bar to grab a glass, placing it on top of a napkin. "What can I get for you, darling?"

His eyes narrowed slightly in reaction to the attractive woman's words. He was rather positive now he had the right place.
The male stopped in front of the bar and seated himself on a stool in front of the woman. Guy crossed his arms and leaned them on the counter, looking the flirty woman in the eye. A soft alluring smile naturally formed on his face in response to Delilah's words.
"Oh?" It was true though, this would be his first time at The Grinning Goul. She was smarter or at least more observant than some might think. Guy never found it in him to ever underestimate someone though, not unless he wanted to get killed.

The male took in every action and every word. Although he was smiling slightly, you could still see his stern, cold features. He always made sure to take care of himself and always stayed in shape and well, it's kept him alive all these years. The smell of expensive cologne was clear but not too strong to be off putting and his thin black hair looked naturally styled.
"Scotch on the rocks thanks." The Korean replied, straightening himself up on the stool. He may seem like a pretty boy but when work needed him to get ugly, he got ugly.
"Maybe you can help me out."

Delilah smirked, reaching behind the counter, plucking some cold stones from the freezer below, dropping them into the glass with a *clink*. "That's what I'm here for, darling." She said with a smile, turning to grab a crystal decanter from a high shelf on the bar. She returned, delicately removing the top from the decanter and poured a good portion of whiskey into his glass. After replacing the top to the decanter and setting it on the counter she leaned over the bar, propping her elbows on the counter with her chin perched in her hands. "No order is too tall, dear." She said with a wink.
Delilah was good at her job, that much was apparent. From the full tip cup that sat upon the counter to the gawks and stares of adoration that were directed at her from the other patrons present. But serving drinks wasn't her job. It was picking out the business opportunities from those that simply hung around to drink and gawk.

"Thanks" Guy casually grabbed the glass and downed half of the beverage before gently placing it back down onto the stern counter to speak again. Most might say he looked too professional to actually have the capability to even harm someone, but their judgement was far off, they usually learned that the hard way.
The male didn't look behind himself once to see the others in The Grinning Goul. No, he didn't need to look and study them all because he had already done so when he entered the building. Some seemed to have weapons, which was to be expected but they did not intimidate him. Some may definitely not even be human for that matter, but still, fear did not strike him. Whether they were big or small, everyone was equally challenging to him.
"I'm looking for someone who can take down someone fairly tough." He continued, sipping more of the alcohol. "Someone highly skilled, someone who can get the job done quick and easy. I'm willing to pay a high amount for this job." Guy finished the rest of the beverage, his eyes still fixed on Delilah's. He was here for serious business.

A ruby red grin stretched across the woman's face. She snickered slightly and shook her head. "Oh dear, I haven't got a clue where you'd find someone like that. I was talking about drinks, and creature comforts." She picked up the decanter and topped off the man's drink before turning away to tend to another nearby patron. A few moments passed, and just as it seemed that Delilah had forgotten about the korean man when she returned to refill his drink once more but placed a keycard on the counter in front of him as well.

"The room you requested, darling." She said, sliding the card to him. The numbers "1308" were prominently displayed on the card, along with a stylized logo for The Grinning Ghoul. "I'm sure you'll find the accommodations to exceed your expectations." With that, the lovely woman continued to tend to her work around the bar.

It was clear that she wasn't the woman to do the job but she most certainly must have met plenty of people willing to. "That's alright. If you happen to find anyone who might be interested, let me know. I'd very much appreciate it."
Guy's eyes shifted to the glass Delilah refilled; he picked it up and finished most of it but the keycard caught his attention. Placing the glass down once more, a slight smirk formed on his face.

The male gladly took the keycard and placed it into his pocket and stood up, removing himself from the stool. The same calm face with a hint of a smile bowed slightly to her, as it was a Korean tradition to show thanks this way, even a slight nod was good enough. "Thank you." Just before he left however, he left her a tip.

Guy's hands naturally returned to his pockets and he stood upright once again as he walked to find his temporary room. Once he had found it, he removed the keycard from his pocket to access the door to open, and entered.

From the doorway, a seemingly normal upscale hotel room could be seen. As the korean closed the door behind him, the optical illusion faded, revealing the fact that he was standing in an elevator-sized box. Several loud noises echoed through the small cabin as mounting clasps engaged, and the door locked behind him. Shortly thereafter the cabin shifted with movement as the room rocketed down a dark tunnel, lights streaking past the view port windows. The cabin finally came to a halt after a moment of travel, unloading him in what looked like a meeting room. A bar sat on one side of the room, along with stools for sitting. The room had a sweet aroma of expensive, exotic, or even alien perfume, it almost seemed to tickle the senses and incite almost a slight tingling feeling of euphoria. It was intoxicating.
A single shadowy figure sat in a leather chair in the center of the room opposite another similar chair with a small round table between them where a decanter of expensive brandy sat, along with two glasses, already filled with the amber liquid. The man's sharp, angular face was obscured by shadow, the glow of his cigar dimly illuminating his features as he took a drag.

"Sit." Said the man, his deep voice resonating throughout the room.

Guy must admit he was not expecting to be fooled by an illusion. Sure he new that the door would lead to someone to help him out but he had no idea that the room would actually be an elevator of sorts.
The male straightened himself and calmed his mind as it did shock him. When the cabin came to a stop, he felt forced out of it, causing him to stumble slightly, again he collected himself in what seemed to be a meeting room. It was quite intriguing how everything happened and how the cabin lead to such a place, quite clever he though.
Smells of different perfumes wafted through the air and intrigued his senses. He instinctively studied his surroundings before his vision locked on to the shadowy figure in the leather chair. It was now obvious, he had come to the right place.

Guy calmly made his way to the seat clearly placed for him to sit in, and seated himself calmly. He tried to take a good look at the man's features but the dim light made it hard to do so. He felt the need to stay silent, as a way to show respect.

The creature opposite to the Korean sat motionless in his chair. The dim glow from the ember of his lit cigar illuminating the man's features slightly, revealing what would have been a pristine and handsome face, though it was marred with scars. He observed the man through dark, cruel eyes. Black as the abyss, and devoid of any light, nor did the orbs reflect light, they almost seemed to repel it.
A long period of time passed as Sin'rael observed the man, not saying a word as he took in the man's demeanor, his expressions, smelling his 'stink'. His lip almost curled in disgust at this creature. 'Humans...' He voiced the word in his mind, dripping with contempt. Sin'rael had almost lost track of how much time had passed as he stared at a being he considered to be prey. What a wonder that something as insignificant as money changed this creature's status from cattle to customer. Though guy was unaware of the shadowy figure's spiteful thoughts, and the contemptuous gaze leveled at him, Sin'rael was sure the creature had begun to feel the predatory eyes that were leveled on him. It was then that finally, he broke the silence.

"I have no time for timidity or niceties, human..." Sin'rael's voice seemed to chill the air. It dripped with malice and hatred. the emotion almost seemed to... radiate from him. A palpable aura in the space around them.

"Speak."

The male new very well that he could easily be killed right there and then, but he still kept his cool about it and felt that he may as well be dead with his horrid leader still breathing. At this point it didn't matter if he would replace him or not, he simply wanted him dead. The leader was naive, uneducated, selfish and just a pain in the neck. The only reason he became the leader was because he took over his father's place, who in fact was a good man. The leader didn't seem to be saddened by his father's death, in fact he seemed more happy than anything; not that Guy really cared about how he felt. Either way, he wanted him eliminated.

After a few moments of silence, the Korean began to feel quite uneasy, he thought it might have been new, unfamiliar territory that made him feel this way, not knowing what they might be thinking is quite unsettling. The man, or what sounded like a man then seemed to finally speak. Guy scanned the figure before him carefully, taking in as much as he could; the way they sat, spoke and so on.
"Mm, Humans are quite problematic." Guy spoke with a serious tone. "Always getting in the way..." Especially spoiled, annoying Humans. He was quite aware that he himself was obviously a Human. Although he wished to be more than something so inferior, he couldn't help it. So he'd have to put up with himself and others of his kind. "I need someone to be. taken care of."

Sin'rael's jaw clenched in agitation. "We do not 'take care' of people." He said snapped, no longer being able to hide his contempt.
"I was clear before that timidity would only test my patience, was I not?" Sin'rael leaned forward, looking the human directly in the eyes.
The alabaster skin of the creature's face shone under the lamp light above the table. It resembled a human, but his facial features were much to lithe and sharp to be sure. An evil pair of eyes stared at him, one milky dead eye, bordered by scars gave the creature an even more menacing look as he pushed for the Korean to state himself clearly.
"I assume you seek our services because your target is well-protected or too powerful for you to . It would be a waste of our time, and your money if it were not the case."
He leaned back in his chair in an attempt to calm himself as he continued. "None can escape our blades, so you can rest assured that your target will meet his demise. However, our efforts do not come cheap."

Sin'rael placed a piece of parchment upon the tabletop before the Korean, along with a dagger who's blade seemed to be made of a porous bone-like material. The parchment contained the terms and conditions of the contract, which not only required considerable monetary compensation, but also a requirement of a blood payment which would be collected by Sin'rael at the completion of the job. There was a space where the man was expected to place his hand to produce a palm print in blood to seal the contract.

Sin'rael leaned back in his chair and observed the man's next move.

The ornate, double doors of the colosseum creaked open, the sudden gust of wind created by the change in pressure whipping up the drapes and rattling the chandeliers, their crystals clinking together like finger bones, a roar high up in roof an indication of the rain that was plummeting down in great sheets from the charcoal sky outside.
A hooded figure stood in the doorway, his cloak billowing around him. And with the dull thud of his loafers on the polished, wooden floor, he made his way to the bar, swinging his long, twisted staff like a walking aid, even though he needed nothing of the sort!
With a long, sickle like claw, he tapped on the bar. “Excuse me,” he said to the barmaid in a well spoken, English accent; but with a voice like blackened steel. “I am looking for the owner of this place. I wonder, do you know where he is? I have… a proposition to make.”

Taking over The Ghoul had been surprisingly easy. The Boss was apparently away on business, and so all Tesslar had had to do was take over the barmaid’s mind and she had been most obliging after that!
His prisoners (seven Jellicle wives, five fairies, a Mithrall Swan, a rare Origin Fruit Bat, a handful of Pokemon and a blue roan Alicorn) had then been shipped in, in the dead of night, via a blacked out minibus, and were now safely housed inside their bullet and magic proof glass cages.
In slightly better spirits, Tesslar surveyed his new, grand surroundings and rubbed his paws together. It was time to prepare for the show! It was just a pity that he didn't have his star performer...
"Don't forget, this is only a temporary stop off!" he told the prisoners. "Tomorrow, we ship out to our new place of resistance. And I am sure you will find it to be most... comfortable...!" And he started to laugh. A long, low, evil laugh...!

“Good evening everybody!” the man in the dark glasses and trilby hat proclaimed to the modest group of individuals who had bothered to show up for the scheduled night. “Thank you all for coming. I, Cassius Countdankworth, will be your host for this evening. And I do hope that you enjoy your evening, while you let us entertain you! And don't forget your free shot to get the party started! Now, without further ado, I bring you: the marvellous, the magnificent, Grinning Ghoul Extravaganza...!!!”
The music began, and with a sweep of his long, black coat, the man (whose hair and beard was also long and black) picked up the microphone and began to sing.
As soon as he began to sing, beautiful women started appearing all over the club, some twirling around polls and others twisting through the crowd as they served out drinks. Every male in the room was truly mesmerized, and by the sight of one woman in particular: A busty redhead who was burlesque dancing onstage, salaciously attired in spiky shoes, fishnets and a tight corset (which was being held together by sheer luck alone!)
Soon she was joined by others and, as the audience members watched the show, transfixed by the staff that Cassius waved as he sang, not one of them noticed The Rats filtering among them, emptying their pockets…!

Get up, get up, get in
The Endorphinmachine
It's alright, baby (Go Baby)
Don't be shy (The Endorphinmachine)
Yeah, I ain't gonna hurt you
Go baby
Come on, come on (Endorphinmachine)
Well, I told ya (Go baby)
The Endorphinmachine
Go baby, go baby, go, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah!
Don't make me!
