Setting
But for now he simply relaxed, leaning up for a moment to shed his jacket and leave it on the floor, sinking into the cushions of the couch. Nix's return was met with a smile. "... as do I, darling. For now I think I'm a bit fatigued." He smiled, wanting to hold her close. "Perhaps tonight, when we've put her to bed."
"I do love how big and strong you are darling."
"It's nothing without your beauty or grace."
Stahl would like to play with her in his natural form, if he could, like he used to do with his nieces and nephews.
She'd put off reportign the incident ot the children's doctor.
He sighed, filled to the brim with joy.
"... might we dance tonight, love?"
The little girl carried a teddy bear for her Daddy to cuddle, as watched with solemn eyes as her mom put the tray near the bed, and checked her daddy's temperature.
"... sweetie, I don't want you to get sick." He spoke plainly, voice muffled and hoarse, though still loving, knowing that she was just as vulnerable as he, if perhaps with some immunities from her mother's blood.
Th little girl came forward, and climbed onto the bed, then tuckd the bunny into her daddy's arm. "Don't be sick, Daddy. Get better."
"... I'm trying, sweetie-oh, who's this?" He asked, soon cuddling the bunny, no doubt what the girl wished for him to do. "Thank you for letting me see him."
Annett smiled to her Daddy. "He's new, for you. Mommy took me to get him, when we went to get the medicines." Immunoboosters were not something the child was a stranger too at all.
The poor girl was probably used to going to get immuno-boosters, and she wsa so well-behaved with it all. She deserved a toy when she went. "... help me name him?"
Nix smiled to her husband and kissed his forehead. "I'll be fine." She promised him. "But if it makes you feel better, I'll set up a cot nearby." But not out of the room, in case he needed her, during the night.
Of course, by comparison, Wing's quarters were rather lavish, the man hoping that the gesture wasn't lost on her, though it was rather evident this far into their marriage just how much the man cared for her. Still, they had yet to decide who would share who's quarters just yet, and he pondered matters a bit more pressing to his mind as he crossed his legs, eyeing the celestial orb on the projection before him.
She waited, patiently, for a response. No doubt she was one of very very few who would interrupt the Emperor in his own quarters. It would be a short list of those so bold.
He opened the door, fingers coming to take the pipe just out of his mouth as he lingered on the flavor of the smoke, letting it gently fall out of his nostrils as he eyed the woman there. This was Wing's agent, wasn't it? "Hope... Anona, is it?" Yes, it was.
The Emperor gave his usual smile, keeping the act of charm up. "Please, come in, have a seat. Your business must be pressing." He turned, moving to return to his own seat, now that he knew the visitor was a trustworthy one.
"Is there anything I can get you?"
