Sigesar arrived to the entrance of the arena that was right before the vast landscape itself surrounded by balconies and seating, the blank expression on his face did not show his tiredness. It had been a little while since he had stretched his muscles, both mental and physical, and he figured a good duel would help him and his compatriot warm up and get into the groove of battling once more.

His head lowered, staring down to the panel attached to the wall, a multitude of options upon the glowing screen...he didn't particularly like technology, and thankfully this was all he saw in regards to it in this place. Many descriptions of landscapes were available for choosing. If he understood the rules correctly, one side chose their preferred terrain and the other determined theirs and the arena would combine the two for the comfort of both sides. Sigesar scrolled a bit and grunted, telepathically communicating to Galanthael, his telepathic voice breathy and soft.

"Knowing you...forested landscapes would be your preference, huh?"

"Fetid swamps and bogs are my domains, however I may be able to bend the woodland to my will. Unfortunately I know not of how to use these shifting tapestry devices, would you be so kind?" Galanthael remarks in his coarse baritone growls, "Being in a fight of my own would take me back many years to the Nameless ones. Long has it been since these old bones sought war by their own hand." Reaching into his long draping robes, Galanthael pulls out a large black opal ball, glittering like a starlit night as he gazed deep into its depths, plumbing the vast banks of universal knowledge such stones could contain. "Now, what particular foe did one have in mind?"

Souless walks in the arena looking at his two opponents and heads to the panel they were waiting at. looking at the landscapes to pick from he decides that a city landscapes would work for him. After making his pick he turn to them and gave them an half-knee to show respect before jumping 10 paces away from them and waited for the arena to change.

As Souless waits he charge up his arcane magic, dark shadows began to leak from his body like slow moving smoke making a shadow-cone with the same ability, and powers as the real Souless to make things even number. They both draw their swords at the same time creating a small gust of wind by the force of swinging down.

"this should be fun" with both of their eyes glowing bright red, they are ready to start the show.

"Bogs and swamps? Hm...hm hm hm...Ah. There it is." Looking up, he noticed their opponent had already gotten ready and selected their terrain, his ability making two of him presumably to even the odds. Fair enough, though the shadow was worrying...especially considering his own focus in shadowy magic and negative energy. Then again...he couldn't help it, he was in his entirety a shadow with a shadow companion and shadow magic. Lots of fucking shadows.

Pressing the bog to add to the city landscape, pits of bog water and swampy greenery dotted the city, vines climbing the buildings around them to give an 'overtaken by nature' feel to everything. If Sigesar could frown, he would...instead, he sighed through the telepathy. "This is apparently our opponent." He recited, the panel sinking down into the floor to clear the space for them. Stepping forwards to enter the arena truly, the formless shade that he commanded followed along and Sigesar presumed Galanthael would follow suit.

The shade morphed and twisted in place, a mouth forming along with a single bloodshot eye, representing a pure black monster which roared despite no sound coming from its mouth. Despite the lack of sound, the vibrations of its 'voice' could be felt, along with a chilling presence from its body as it was ready for battle.

"This one is a bit arrogant, is he not? Let's be sure to make him feel special and accepted..."

"I shall make no promises, Sigesar." Galanthael croaked out as he placed the orb away once more and swayed his wand from the height of his forehead to his knees, ripping open a prismatic gate that quickly fades to a green hue, clearing and revealing an empty and arid wasteland littered with rotting corpses and bones.

Out from this gateway he pulled five of his loyal followers that had been blessed with Urgathoa's gift, the foul creatures known as her Daughters. What was once a woman now towers as a monstrosity of ectoplasmic flesh, horns, and a tremendous scythelike claw easily capable of cleaving nearly any man or beast in twain. With a whispered shriek in the tongue of Necril, he ordered his minions into a phalanx between himself and this drab arcanist, "Ten paces is a little close, don't you think? The thrill of a hunt is much more rewarding." Galanthael coughs out between devilish smirks, "Now come on Sigesar, let this conjurer of cheap tricks prepare himself for the coming onslaught."

With a grin on his face Souless took in his two opponents and their creatures. Right than Souless decides to take the first move in this game and rise up his left-hand with the clone following his movements, both fire and ball of black flame's about the size of a bus at the small group until it turn. The target wasn't the group, it was the two skyscrapers next to them to make a smoke screen of debris and falling cement. after firing the blast the two began the second part of the attack by shadow-stepping halfway up the skyscrapers with one on each skyscrapers side and slicing all the way through at and 90' degree angle so the half of the building would slide down at the same time when the decoy attack hits its marks.

jumping to a little smaller building down the street Soulless and his clone waits and watch the outcome of their attack.

With no sense of urgency or distress, Galanthael simply reached his hand over to Sigesar and commanded his minions to form up around him before chanting a few token words and rendering him and his allies nothing more than a fine blue mist that barely clings to this reality, he had used his magics to become ethereal. Waiting for the events to unfold fully, a voice rang from rubble and dust "Such a shame, all bark and no bite. A runt with such bluster and pride would be nothing but meat for my children should we have agreed that we go on to the death, but that would give me an unfair advantage now wouldn't it?".

As the dust settled Galanthael simply walked out from the mass of rubble, snickering to himself as he went, "So you made a second self with magics, did you? Easily fixed." Galanthael remarked in an unnaturally booming voice, "I can show you an arcane servant's Final Sacrifice!" With these words he stretched out his arm towards the pair and let forth a deafening screech as his physical body returned to him alone and the blue mist surrounding him dissipated, distorting the energies of such summoned creatures still within reality and attempting to shatter the clone into a gout of fire and choking smoke.

After the spell has been loosed Garathael stands silently and still, clutching at a rusted and broken piece of dagger sized metal sized for his own large and gaunt hands that he grips by the blade itself but closer inspection would reveal it had no grip or hilt at all for it was a tiny piece of something much larger, giving Sigesar a chance to formulate his own move.

Sigesar had remained for the most part still, his telepathic senses focusing on the magic being cast by the opponent(s), his shade started morphing slowly around him. It was once the blue mist that made him and his allies ethereal that he broke his composure.

"I think I understand this one's tactics..." He muttered to himself, his voice only audible to himself and Galanthael as he raised his pitch black arms, the psychic reverberations emanating from his hands and his head. He waved the hands as they began to vibrate and let out an almost inaudible 'vrrr'.

Sigesar's voice spoke in his own head so only he could hear himself utter the psychic chants needed to cast the spell. "Possession." He finished it off with, a gout of psychic energy attempted to invade the boy's mind with the intent of imparting Sigesar's mind into his so he could possess it for his own needs...

Feeling his mind being invaded, Souless trigger his mind and body to separate into 1,000 pieces in the form of ravens with each raven he try to trap the invader in an endless maze, ones trap the ravens will seek the invader out. Taking a closer look the ravens are not real birds but black fire in a form of black ravens that will seek out their targets and ingolf their prey in a twister of fire and death until the are ash.

Using the ravens to sneak behind the tall one while he is still trying to shatter souless clone was easy enough, few of the ravens form souless body behind him at a bow-shot away, as he screamed and the blue mist surrounding him dissipated taking that moment to strike. judging that the blade he has was holding was no normal blade, with that souless will have to strike at him without getting cut and to do that he fires another bus size fire blast at the tall one, but this time he follow the large fireball to his target with his enhanced speed making sure he stays behind the fireball to cover his approach. As soon as souless was close enough to his target he signals the rest of the ravens to attack the tall one partner at the same time the fireball would hit his target, using the fireball as decoy Souless draw his black longsword attempting to use his speed to do a dash-slash to try to take the head of the tall one ignoring the group of minions surrounding him.
