You climb the marble stairs towards Verinotte Hall ...Standing proud and high with dragons crawling up it's sides was Verinotte Hall. Large gilded doors up an elaborate marble staircase marked the entrance to this place. The staircase wrapped around the corner, disappearing to the square.
Here, in Verinotte Hall, is where the Grand Balls would be held. Every Halloween, there is a full week of celebration. There are also Equinox and Solstice balls, and citizens of Verinotte Hollow are allowed to rent out the space.
In the upper levels there is a court room, as well as a small governement office. Tunnels are rumored to exist beneath this building. The clock tower is currently under construction, as it was taken out during the Ball of Chaos

He grinned and took a drink of his champagne. Watching the woman."So....you're part dragon yeah?" He asked."I'm a vampire myself. If you haven't figured that out already." He chuckled again. Enjoying her company regardless of what she was.
Susan choked on her drink and jumped back at the same time. Her wings shot up and out, the talons poised for strike. Her clear amethyst eyes were shot through with blood red, her expression a cross between a feral rage and absolute fear.
"Infamous?" he asked with a raised eyebrow. He chuckled and said "Resting and preferred. So I take it that you and Casren talk a lot?"
"Whoa! Hey! I was just trying to make conversation is all. Don't worry. I'm not gonna drink your blood. I'm not looking for a fight or anything I swear. No harm will come to you." He gave a weak smile."I'd never harm one so beautiful." He stated to her. His eyes showed the truth of his statements. He really wasn't looking to fight anyone. Besides, he'd be at a disadvantage.
Susan slowly calmed down, her wings lowered and her tail stopped twitching. "S-sorry.. I mean... Sorry." She said to him, shaking her head. She lowered her wings and reset them around her waist, where they folded into an approximation of an over skirt. She then swung her hips, wrapping her tail back around her waist. She turned away from him, suddenly shy again.
He smiled."I'm sorry for setting you off. It was my fault." He gave a very low bow to her."Can you forgive me?" He asked, acting as a proper gentleman should in this case. His eyes looking at her with respect and admiration. Impressed by her display of what she was as he stood back up. Taking another drink of his champagne.
Susan could only blush at his gesture, a peculiar reaction which caused her skin to turn translucent, lit from beneath by the veins and arteries, or rather by the blood therein.
This lasted awhile before she shook herself and calmed down enough to cease glowing. She immediately took her drink and downed it again, only to cough as it came back up as vapor. She rubbed her nose and squinted as tears ran through her eyes. "Oh wow that smarts" She stomped her feet a few times.

He chuckled a bit and gave a belch of his own."There. We are even now." He laughed at that. Downing the rest of his champagne and ordering two more drinks. Since they were free. This time however he got 2 root beer floats. Not wanting to get drunk he figured he'd treat her to something fairly awesome that humans had managed to invent.
Susan rolled her eyes at him, then belched a bigger one to put his shame. But then of course a forty foot tongue of flame brushed the ceiling of the hall. She then blushed again. "Oh crap, I'm sorry I'm so sorry"
The Large, Gilded Door would slowly seem to creek open- rather almost as if something was having a bit trouble attempting to open them by hand. Though moments after a rather large 'Hare Like' Creature would manage to squeeze inside, though initially this was strike as 'odd' seeing why in the God(s) name would such a creature show up in a place like this let alone know how to open doors! However the truly odd part was it happened to be wearing a...dress, yes a large possibly nine foot tall hare was wearing a black dress, though it seemed to be altered in order to fit the creatures form, from various elastic straps which held certain points such as the sides together and bits of 'black leather' seemed to insure the cloth didn't rip.

It was the 'practical' talk of the town, of course she had paid using currency she was more familiar with, that being Silver and Gold Shillings.I don't know why I've convinced myself to come here, but I can blame dumb curiosity..I always wondered why Human(s) enjoy such..meetings...
Daemala? That name wasn't one the Taguel was familiar with. Then again the Creature more then likely didn't know a single Person who happened to be present, all of them where strangers so it resulted in the Beast Creature feeling a little discomfort. Obvious from the hair on its form seeming to stand on end, and the 'growl' that reverberated from its form was an obvious sign of that, well for those who where familiar with Rabbit's and there body language.
Though the Taguel would continue to walk further in, remaining on its hind legs as those pinkish hues slowly took in the massive room. The creatures growls would soon turn into what it seemed to be..panicked whining? It didn't like the fact that the room was so...large, perhaps it was feeling a bit agoraphobic?

Yet she found herself so fixated..or bent on staring upward. She merely wasn't use to being in a building structure that made her feel small or inferior. Daemala came whirling out of the Alfarsi Ballroom, from where she had been dancing and having a grand old time. Music spilled in as she popped through the doors, fading as the large glass giants were shut. From behind the glass, one could see many citizens dressed in finery kicking up a storm. A lively song was obviously being played.
"Yes?" She turned to the bald man, and did a double take at the giant bunny. Giving a curtsy, she gave her respect to all present before turning her attention then to the man who asked for her.

Finally. Someone had realized the Creature wasn't some Human but a literal Nine Foot Seven Hare! Even giving a double take before giving it a curtsy. Though the creature continued to stare up at the ceiling like some damned brain dead bird.

He made a special note in the front of his mind to put the Hare on some form of list for security so that his employer wouldn't be otherwise disheartened or annoyed by the strange spectacle... Though who knew if he wouldn't instead find it pleasantly amusing? The bald man shook his head, then bowed in greeting to the vampyress.
