"Sounds interesting, I admit..." Rei hesitated. A job was a job, and this one wouldn't require the risk of reefer sickness. Rei just wasn't sure she was willing to tolerate another day of anemic sunshine in exchange for the dark brillance of space if this one fell through. She couldn't say that she'd ever been with a crew other than the small one her ship had used, a navigator and first mate, and a few occasional hangers on. Ghost Dance had or maybe still was largely automated. "I'd be gudgeon to say otherwise.." She added crossing her arms and thinking. It would be an unfamiliar ship, but she could generally pilot anything she'd been put in the seat of.
Sighing, she shook the doubts aside and made her choice. "Look at me here without a ship and you without a pilot. It's a right sweet deal Captian."
He says this with a smirk while taking his care to meander back to Victory square, looking ahead to make sure the coast is clear. Unfortunately the only way back to port is down and out, but if they keep to themselves, the two of them should be fine. Or at least that's Ean's thinking.
"Now a couple things to bear in mind, she's not a frigate, our girl. She's hefty, made for carrying cargo and crew, and has the guns to keep both safe. I'm assuming you've flown such large craft before?"
"My last ship, before it was damaged out in the Rim and then taken around Sky's Edge was roughly 4km along its hull from bow to stern. Dark drives, inertial suppression, and an alpha level sim A.I." She added regretfully. The ship had truly been one of the last of it's kind, and knowing her rotten luck wasn't likely to be seen ever again.
He shrugs then. "Well, you'll see her soon enough. C'mon this way, I know a shortcut" He says, nodding at an alley and slipping into it.
(Finish to this post will be at the space port)
