Body Structure
Petite but curvy, a very feminine form. Long legs, big, bright eyes, high cheekbones, long arms, voluptuous in all the right places. Her eyes are the color of sapphire and silver, mixed together. Her skin is a smooth, soft mix of olive and pale, falling somewhere between the two. Her hair is long and luscious, falling in dark, cascading waves down to the middle of her back. She wears a size six in feet, fitting every display shoe in sight. She has the perfect outward appearance, but no one knows of the ugly person that lives inside of her.

Reason For Killing
She never meant for it to come to this. He had dumped her. She didn't know what to do with herself. She was lost. He was her sense of direction. And he had just dropped her like a piece of toast. Unseizable anger. And she killed him. After looking at her work, she dropped the knife, and stood back, covering her mouth in horror.

"It was an accident, I swear! I didn't know what I was doing."

Likes/Dislikes
Layla loves to sing. She's not a singer and a dancer, but she just wants to sing. She wants to open her vocal cords and let everyone hear the sweet notes that come from it. She loves to write and read, writing especially. Her longest story was 73,583 words long. It took her a year and a half to finish the story. It's one of her most prized possessions. She avoids a lot of social connections with people, scared that they will hurt or damage her in any way. She strongly dislikes bees and outside creatures. Scary movies make her skin crawl, even if they are completely unrealistic.

Personality
Layla was always the shy, sweet, and overly gorgeous girl. She hated large amounts of attention, and always denied compliments. It annoyed her when people over exaggerated about her exotic looks. She was very humble, and she didn't like when people made her feel out of her element. It is very difficult to get past her thick layer of protection. It wasn't easy to become her friend. It usually took one at least a year to get past her shell. She had such a thick shell because she was scared of getting hurt. It terrified her more than any scary movie. Once you get her to open up, she is a very sweet person. She will do anything for you, help you, be there for you when you need it. But you have to work for that. It doesn't come as easy to some.

Past
Layla grew up in a somewhat stable home. Her mother and father divorced when she was only 6 months old. Her father was furious that her mother was surviving better without him, and broke into their garage, stealing their car and the TV they held in there. That was the last time Layla saw her father in person. He never called, never sent a birthday card. Only wanted to avoid any contact with his family. Her mum never got remarried, her heart was just as guarded as Layla's whole essence was. Her mother and Layla fought more as they grew up, having too many things in common that they butted heads almost every day. It got so bad that Layla's mother kicked her out of the house. She stayed her friends, but that's when her schizophrenia developed. She started talking to herself, doing things that were nothing like the person she normally was. Her mother took her back in, but the pills her mother got for her disease didn't help much. And now look where's shes ended up with that.

Once she got her boyfriend, it looked like her life was finally turning around. He was sweet, and always there for her. He put up with her schizophrenia, which was never that bad when she was around him. It was like he was the perfect antidote to her sickness. Until he broke up with her. She was lost, confused, angry, dazed. She ended up killing him. As soon as her mother figured out, she sent her away. And here she was.

Other
She writes songs and stories constantly. She loves standing in the rain, only a jacket on, nothing underneath, to feel the cool of the rain seeping underneath the jacket.

Man Down by Rihanna
I didn't mean to end his life
I know it wasn't right
I can't even sleep at night
Can't get it off my mind
I need to get out of sight
Before I end up behind bars

What started out as a simple altercation
Turned into a real sticky situation
Me just thinking on the time that I'm facing
Makes me wanna cry

Cause I didn't mean to hurt him
Could've been somebody's son
And I took his heart when
I pulled out that gun

Rum pum pum rum pum pum pum rum pum pum pum
Man Down
Rum bum bum bum rum bum bum bum rum bum bum bum
Man Down

Oh mama mama mama
I just shot a man down
In central station
In front of a big ol crowd
Oh Why Oh Why
Oh mama mama mama
I just shot a man down
In central station

It's a 22
I Call her Peggy Sue
When she fits right down in my shoes
What do you expect me to do
If you're playing me for a fool
I will lose my cool
And reach for my fire arm

I didn't mean to lay him down
But it's too late to turn back now
Don't know what I was thinking
Now he's no longer living
So I'm bout to leave town

Cause I didn't mean to hurt him
Could've been somebody's son
And I took his heart when
I pulled out that gun

Rum bum bum bum rum bum bum bum rum bum bum bum
Man Down
Rum bum bum bum rum bum bum bum rum bum bum bum
Man Down

Oh mama mama mama
I just shot a man down
In central station
In front of a big ol crowd
