Personality

"Dissonance" is Izzy's favorite word, and the first word she spoke. Sarcastic and impulsive, Izzy has been called a child plenty of times before, and is willing to keep it up. If she spots you and is curious, she's apt to pull you from a crowd and dance with you in the middle of the street, just to get a closer look. While not one to make friends, she has millions of acquiantances that she's met in just that way. Eccentric in behaviour and tongue, she's the final copy of 'trial personalities' that she'd tried, leaving her a tiny bit jaded but much more content with being as out there and independent as she damn well pleases.

Favorite Musical Artist: Muse, Battles, Nobuo Uematsu
Genre Preference: Though anything with a great beat and a story to tell can get her going, Izzy prefers something she can close her eyes and rock to - fast or slow, techno or jazz, classical or rock, it just has to activate her stimuli. Though her favorite styles range very widely, it's almost positive that noone around her would appreciate her favorites as much as she does.
Genre Weakness: Sappy music, anything that sounds similar to a church hymn; what a bore.

Comanche by The Revels
Equivalent of cocaine right to the brain, Comanche is one hell of a ride. When Izzy harmonizes during this tune, foes will experience a sharp pain to the brain, much like a severe headache, mulitple times. During this they can become confused and disillussioned. Their eardrums will react negatively to the vibrato tonguing of the saxaphone. The brain slows down immensely, causing them to imagine that Izzy is jolting from place to place, while really she is moving at normal speed. "Mind jolts," they're called, and are often attributed to the effects of drugs.

During the beginning of this song a thick black fog sourrounds Izzy and her combatant and neon blue, flare type sparks fall to the ground with each high-pitched pluck. These sparks can burn skin upon contact. Also, after the pickup of the rest of the song, swirls of blue energy can morph themselves around Izzy and anyone within the fog, picking them off the ground. Bright blue waves of energy float around them, ready for Izzy to manipulate and control. Her agility also increases a considerable amount, enabling her to float through the air and fight in a CQC type style without such menial things as gravity to keep her down.

This is Izzy's favorite, for very personal reasons. During this song she can summon a wolf (mentioned above) out of the yellow energy waves that surround her or -though this takes much more energy - out of matter that surrounds her (earth, brick, water,etc). The size of a polar bear and fierce when angered, it's definitely something to fear happening to you.

Icky Thump by The White Stripes
During this song, if Izzy creates a tapping to the same beat, the matter around her will shake and crumble as red waves emanate from the pulsating area in question. Stomping, she's found, has proven to be the most effective and can cause earthquake-like tremors in the ground below her. She has not yet been able to control the radius of her quakes, and she usually has to be within a five foot range to effect anyone around her. During points with no real beat, jagged bright red objects materialize at her hands and can be thrown like chinese stars.

During the slow, content parts of this song Izzy will sing along if needed, summoning purple streaks from behind her to jet across the floor and up her body, healing whichever part of her or anyone around her she wills. At the same time a neon green orb will surround her or a friend of her choice, never both, and defend them during healing process. As she sings along to the more raspy, emotionally engaging sections, bursts of energy will leave her throat and force back anyone too close, sometimes strong enough to blow them to the ground or cause internal damage.

History

Background: Isamune was born to a very poor family in Red Bank, New Jersey. Her mother a prostitute and her father a drunk, Isamune quickly became a troubled child who ran the streets in search of a more comforting atmosphere. Now, having been through everything, Izzy is finally content with herself, going out to clubs (jazz, rave, you name it) and with her own apartment. Sadly, her life in the street has left her with a bad addiction to Vicodin, Valium, Damerol, and the likes, as well as a bad habit to defend herself a little too quickly.

Around 2 years ago, her only and best friend, a friend she'd nicknamed "Boom" for his fascination with heavy beats and music in general, passed away. It was when he passed away that she discovered this power. She'd noticed when listening to her favorite music a wolf materialized itself in yellow, swirling energy. She found she shared a link, perhaps telepathically, with it. At first she attributed it to the drugs, and then believed she was crazy. However, as her harmonizing matured she believed otherwise. The wolf appears during her favorites, and even attacks during one. Though she knows it is preposterous to believe it's her old friend, she finds comfort in the thought.
