Thrashnald

An experienced warrior with the power of destruction

0 · 653 views · located in The NAGT

a character in “The NAGT National Academy for Gifted Teens”, as played by Hyydra

Description

Physical Description: http://thejesterscorner.files.wordpress ... peg?w=1200
His right arm is just as long as his left, other than that, the picture is exactly what he looks like.

Weaponry: He wields a magical orb of a pink energy, forging it into many weapons of any kind. These faint orbs of pink light and crackling energy can be seem within his forearms and hands.

Sex: Male

Race: Void

Age: Since the creation of time itself.

Height: 7'5

Abilities: He is incredibly strong and fast, using momentum and his born-magic to strike foes. With his magical abilities, he releases large amounts of magical energy into every blow he strikes, releasing more damage and power into his sword which he has bonded with spiritually. He is a calm warrior at times, gathering sense and peace at times. He can also sing incredibly, an aura coming from him to emit sounds of other instruments that would be played. Although he favors his blade, he often like practicing with his fists, emitting faster blows. He can also emit sudden but powerful beams of an unknown color, but related to a mix of dark red and black, which can tear down armor and at times grant temporary powers (To his own will) He can also control the powers of the worlds energy, what would be known as lightning and thunder. He can control it to his own ability, allowing the energy to boost his weapons as well as others. It can also be used as a direct weapon, but not as powerful as his dark unknown energy. Through fighting monsters and other beasts of the sort, he can drain their spirit, gaining the attributes that they'd of had before (Such as stamina, strength, etc.), but can do the same towards humans and relative races.

Flaws: His life is controlled by loyalty and power. If finding an item, which only one exists in the multiverses of existence, whoever wields such an item he must rule under their command. With unshriveling loyalty he would honorably serve them. But other than that, his form of speech, negotiations, and underestimation of others shows a flaw to his ways. He craves power, addicted completely to finding it, searching for it. Absorbing it. Other weaknesses will soon be noted as time goes on.

History: Unknown.

Personality: Unknown.

So begins...

Tania sat in the girl's dorm a blank stare on her face as if she'd just seen a ghost. She then moved forwards hitting a wooden practice tower. She moved fast and the attacks from her secondary hand were slow and obvious but only a expert could see that her other hand was hitting like a cobra. She kept hitting pressure points and weak yet lethal areas on the dummy that represented points on the human body.

I stood in the center of the dueling area blade out. I started a long weapon demonstration making sure to have perfect form. I started to walk left as if circling with a opponent. I advanced and did a cross slash before whipping around with a second sword in my other hand at throat level. I advanced as if trying to force a enemy back before turning back knocking the fake sword up with mine to slice across the chest. I ducked kicking back I then heard the new arrival bell and sheathed my weapons to go greet the new people.

Thrashnald wasn't excited the least, but rather disappointed. This was what he had to come upon, feeling no stronger presences from those around him, he scoffed in disgust. As he continued to enter the area, he halted when told to do so, his hands at his sides and his feet together in a soldier form, staring blankly into the air waiting for something to occur. He saw a small boy with at least seventy swords on his back, with cat ears and a tail and sighed in disbelief, yet another. He looked down towards him, asking "Are you an official here?" when he got to him, being him a little in the center of the group. He had hoped for something more to this, allies he could befriend, people he could learn powers from, some he could take it from. But he had no hopes here, everyone he had seen would either be a practical swordsman or a mage. Luckily his powers weren't Godly to the point he could take another race's spirit power or the new ones like him would all be dead, he thought. He didn't know that a few within the group would shine out, not seeing nor feeling their presence as he did so earlier. He looked downwards now, towards the cat man with a distressed face, like his boots got dirty or something. When he felt enclosed with others, he'd nudge them back with his shoulders, staring back down at him in annoyance. "Well? Are you an official or not?" He asked once more in a more stirn, serious voice. Although his tone stayed the same, it still had a dark low sound to it.

Artemis wasn't pleased. She wasn't even annoyed. She was far, far beyond that—and she was falling, deeper and deeper, into the infinite abyss that was her fury. She tucked a few strands of hair behind her ear and knocked another arrow. One draw, one aim, and she sent the arrow flying. Bullseye. But from twenty meters away from the target, that was hardly impressive. She was pathetic, and her irritation with herself was only growing.

Doubling her distance, she drew in a breath, knocked again, and pulled back. This time, she aimed more carefully. The arrow sailed through the air, arcing high. Hitting the target dead-on, again. But this one lacked force, and it bounced to the ground, dead.

She was pathetic. All the strength she could muster, and it wasn't enough to pierce a bale of hay with an arrow.

Artemis retrieved the arrows she'd spent and retired to the haybales to do what she did best: watch. She had no trouble climbinb up, seeking a decent vantage point. Across the dueling area, she watched as a boy, years younger than herself, danced through the motions of some sort of exercise with a sword. Why, why was everyone here so skilled in the arts of combat? All she could manage was a weak punch to the throat and a meager chokehold. Why had she bothered to come here?

Some damned thing about seven feet tall approached the kid. She couldn't make out the words they spoke, but she assumed he wasn't just accosting the boy. The taller one seemed too old to be a student—but, then, she supposed that age wasn't a question, here. There were vampires and witches galore, some with lifespans hundreds of times her own and bodies half her age.

Artemis decided to stop staring at the little boy and the hulking thing (she had to give him credit—he was something she'd draw, if she were half decent at art) and began to deconstruct the matter of the bugs in the air until a little pile of carbon and white powder gathered in the palm of her hand. In a matter of about ten seconds, though, that bored her, too, and with that, she leapt off the haybales and drew closer to the pair to eavesdrop. She crouched on the ground, gathering in her hand a handful of rocks, and dissolved them, too, as she listened in on the conversation.

It wasn't as though she was going to get any less pathetic by letting more arrows bounce off the paper, after all.

Joey circled his neck to the left and then the right, groaning. Brushing the few strands of hair from his eyes, he locked them on the practice dummy in front of him, ignoring the others sparring around him. He felt the pent up energy within his being, and he directed it to his fists, letting the power intensify. He then began to sprint towards the dummy, and with a battle cry drove his fist into it's chest. The effect was instantaneous. A wave of energy rippled the air around his fist and threw the dummy off its wooden post and across the room, embedding itself in the wall. Joey then twisted around to the side and pointed his fist at a nearby dummy, and trendils of energy sparked out and disintegrated to ashes.

He stood up and brushed off his jacket, looking around him. He best start making friends, he thought to himself. From all the people around him, he noticed a girl shooting arrows, looking frustrated with herself. She watched her walk over to a small boy and some hulking man. Well better start somewhere, he thought. He walked over and introduced himself.

"Um... hi. My name's Joey."

Galya entered the area, taking slow and graceful steps towards a dummy. She had a calm expression on her face, until she tripped. If it wasn't for the dummy, Galya would have collided with the floor. Rather than that, she was holding herself to it.
After her heart beat slowed down, the girl got up.

"You saved me from falling and now I have to hit you, eh?" she thought, looking at it. "Okay, here we go..."

The girl charged her fist at the dummy and shot it towards its face with such force, she would expect a loud collision. The punch ended right next to the dummy's head, not hitting anything.

This dummy was right in front of her, it wasn't moving at all, and she still missed it - this caused Galya's red face to turn around the other students, hoping that whoever saw this thought it was a preparation or a ritual.

Galya charged her fist again. This time she was interrupted by a girl who fell in a weaponary box.

The tall purple haired girl rushed to the scene and started panicking, blurting out sounds, which didn't make any sense. She shut up for a moment to calm herself.

"Y-you are going to the nurse!" Galya stuttered and carried Key. She started running with her, apologizing every time she let Key's head bump into a dummy. Galya suddenly lost balance after tripping again. She was trying hard to stop before colliding with the wall, or both of them would end up needing a nurse. Perhaps she needed help to stop...

Almost right after asking the swordsman the question, he departed from the group, finding what he said meaningless. He'd not want to stay with that group, venturing around the corridors. When he turned a corner in the hallway, he halted. An elf was walking towards his direction, and he froze in awe. He thought of her as a beautiful creature, not knowing that she was an elf, but knowing she wasn't like the other people. She had no tail, nor ears. After a few seconds of looking at her eyes, he closed his and shook his head. He then continued to walk, trying to turn his head away from her shyly as he passed by yet another student, tall and slender. He paid no mind to him, but felt a stronger power emitting from his body, and thought as he walked. Almost as if instinct, he entered a room and shot his right arm into the wall, his hand balled to a fist as he stopped the girl from colliding with the wall. He then looked at the two, small and inferior in his mind. He smirked and scoffed, then started to continue on his way, adventuring throughout the hallways of the large tower. As he walked, he found it pathetic on what he did. "Why would I do that." He mumbled to himself, seeing as he helped someone he'd usually call filth or weak. He gritted his teeth and balled his fists, taking three surges of his power to calm him down. The power could be seen, a strange pink spherical explosion emitting from the center of his torso, yet nothing was destroyed. It was like an illusion of sorts. When he finally calmed down, he thought of the slender man. Something was different about him, he seemed like he felt too good for this place as well. He smiled, thinking he could be of an asset, or someone who'd be of some use to him. He then thought of the elfish girl, what was it? He'd never seen anything like it, the pointy ears of sorts made him wonder. The only elf he's known of was his own, not knowing others would've existed in this universe. Of course, he never thought of her as an elf, but perhaps a being from another universe. He continued to walk, noticing the room to his right with a dummy attacked. Someone was there a few moments ago. But he didn't care, he'd simply walk throughout the hallways, studying how it was built and what could occupy him in his days here.

"Pfft ass." I said watching the hulking brute walk away. "Alright the rest of you new students form a group here and we'll take a tour and you may meet Tania our local cook nurse whatever you can think of." I then pointed at the dungeon a very stern look on my face. "And at no time should you enter that place during the night nobody that has entered at night has ever returned besides Tania that is but she isn't trying to be a hero anymore." I then started walking towards the library.

Tania had finished feeding people breakfast and was now sprinting to her job as the nurse. She nearly hit some colossal guy she assumed was a new student since he didn't clear the corner like a student. No matter she jumped and landed in a handstand on his shoulder she then jumped off started doing handsprings down the hall landing ass first in the nurse's chair.

Thrashnald turned around, offended by what she did, his eyes now frequently emitting lightning as he started a slow jog. With every step, another explosion occured, only able to be heard this time. It was getting louder and faster, the power gaining him speed on her as he was only a few meters away now. "Hey!" He yelled in outrage, his metal boots able to be heard now crushing the floor with every stomp he took. He didn't even realize he had to be here, and was thinking on leaving. But not a second before showing the consequences one reaps from touching him, especially when they'd never of seen him. When she entered what he didn't know was the nurse's office, he left his feet into the air as he grabbed onto the top of the door frame, having him swing once before entering, the explosions still occuring. When he finally saw her, he exclaimed, "Hey." in a darker tone than usual, staring down at her.

James followed the teacher, quiet. He kept the same unamused face on throughout the walk. Glancing at the other students, watching them. Measuring their strengths up. But they all seem pretty boring.

Other than that, he kept quiet, except from his groaning of boredom every exact minute.

Alice was about to walk a step closer to the girl with the wound on her leg but then a tall purple haired girl came to the rescue and swooped the wounded girl up to get her to the nurse. She didn't understand a word she was saying when she came in and took the girl to the nurse. Alice looked out of the door to see a person doing hand springs down the hall and a large guy chasing after her that made loud sounds with every step he took.

She was curious and decided to follow the loud person instead of the group tour. Alice felt that she was going to regret this but at the same time, she did this just to see if the guy was going to hurt the woman or if he was just asking her something. She thought that she shouldn't take the chance and just went anyway.

Alice ran after him and tried to avoid where he had stepped and decided to just jump over where he had stepped. "Well, this is fun..." She muttered as she followed while jumping. Alice stopped running once she felt that he landed into the nurse's office. She surprisingly kept her balance after the large, well armored person landed in the nurse's office. Alice peeked into the doorway to see if she should interfere.

Galya started choking uncontrollably after her collarbones slammed into Thrashnald's arm. She wasn't really sure if he did this to help her. Even if he did, Galya was too late to say 'Thank you' - he went away.

The girl raised her brow at Key, who jumped off her arms insisted on not going to the nurse.

"I swear I saw she took a knife off her leg... and the wound is still there!" She thought. "Well, it's her own leg, she proably knows best."

Then everyone started gathering.

"What's going on?" Galya thought. As much as she understood, there was going to be a tour.

Another thought popped in Galya's mind - since she'll be studying and living in the academy in the next few years, she would better start befriending people. Maybe she should be quick before everyone split away after the tour. Talking during the tour might bring trouble, so all she told to the nearby students were a series of apologizing for constantly bumping into them.

James continued on, listening into conversations while still glaring at the others. A small cocky smilealways kept on his face. Some speech had caught his attention, causing him to focus on the words;
"found anything interesting yet? Because if there's anything worthwhile around here to see, they're sure as hell not showing it to us." [Not sure if you were talking to me in the last posts. My apologies for "ignoring" you.]

James, assuming that the words weren't directed to him, answered in his mind; "Nope. I hate this place already." His thoughts were then followed on with some more groans, still thinking if he is being spoken to. Ah, if only he had stopped paying attention to following, then he won't have to be confused like this.

Diabel sat there in the shadows observing them as they all gathered he wasn't impress, he heard all this incredible stuff about the students inside this academy but so far he had not noticed anything special about them. He noticed the cocky male approaching the others and laugh he was probably a good one to make a deal with. To him they were all excellent deal bait of course everyone has something they desired and that's what made him so eager to come to this academy. He stood up and began walking towards the hallway looking for a nice place to be alone. He though the school yard would be a perfect place as he saw a couple of trees where he could take a nap under. He put his hands on his pockets and kept his head down he wasn't one to attract attention to himself if he didn't need it he saw a couple more of the students but decided to ignore them for now. He finally made it out to the schools yard area and look for the tree that was the farthest away from the school and decided to walk to it. Once he arrived he decided to sit there and wait for school to start.

Galya could hear several conversations around her and so far nobody has gone in trouble. Maybe this was a completely right time to meet people. Little by little she could gain friendships, which were hopefully real. All she needed was time to gather courage to say...

"Hi..." Galya approached Alice. "Uuh, what a nice day to... exist..."

"What a nice day to exist? WHAT A NICE DAY TO EXIST?" her mind was screaming. "I'll be lucky if I ever befriend someone. I'll just continue and try to act as a normal person..."

"My name is Galya. What's yours?" She asked the black haired girl. "Ah! Sorry!" She apologized to James after accidentally stepping on his heel.

Thrashnald turned around, forgetting about her random entrance on him just like that. He crouched down, looking up at the troll now on the floor, then raising his eyes at the girl who he'd stare right in the eyes, a bright flash of pinkish power in his eyes as he grinned crazily. He then looked back down to the troll, stretching his right hand out and placing it on his temple.

What after that happened wasn't definable. A dark red aura flowed from all of the troll's body and upward throughout his right arm, and within a few seconds the troll's body was a skinny form, the bones showing upon the body. He then rose, his eyes closed as he inhaled through his nostrils, then started walking outside of the kitchen, looking at her once more with a smile as he walked downwards towards what he'd find out later to be the dungeon.

After the first sight of monsters, his expectations heightened. What appeared to be an unlimited source of power, monsters flowing through this stone door. He grinned viciously, emitting a full sprint once more, the same explosion method occurring as well. He finally got to the area, monsters everywhere. "Good, roar with me!" He yelled out loud, a more disturbing tone as he yelled at the warriors around him, his sword now appearing in his hand as lightning struck it as he shot it into the air, looking back down at the monsters.

There were different types, many types, of monsters. But he'd fought all of them. He'd known their tactics, but they didn't know his. He grinned with pleasure as he noticed not all of them were as strong as a few of them, starting to hunch his back over, his hand outward holding his blade. "Come on then, fight me!" He roared at the nearest creature, which happened to be a Minotaur.

Thrashnald encountered the small Minotaur first, a quick death for him. He held a strange scabbard that was twice the size of the monster's arm, but that didn't stop his sword, about the same size, to slash it downward, the explosion knocking the sword downward to his right waste, not stabbing him but only making his arm extend to that length. After that, he twirled around to crush his elbow into the beast's temple, the next surge of power sending an indent into its skull as it collapsed on the ground. With that, he extended his hands outward, roaring furiously, an un-comparable noise with a multiple sound to it.

And with that, lightning crashed down on the weapons of the other warriors with every slash they'd make on the enemy, the damage tearing off chunks of their anterior, only for it to disintegrate seconds later. But he did not add this to himself, feeling it like he should only use his power, a sense of challenge. He entered a fight with a strange snakelike beast, a long neck and a tail, with a dragon like body without wings. He spun in the air at a diagonal angle as he slashed the two swords away from him as it attempted a scissor-like slash with both. He immediately after landing dropped down to his left knee, slashing the monster's left calf in half, watching it fall down as he dashed over it, his blade slicing its head off and some of its neck with it.

After a few battles with cyclopes and other beasts, only a few remained between the entrance and his allies in battle. He grinned in achievement, but was suddenly encountered with a Minotaur a foot taller than him, it's large hammer slamming into his armed hand. He looked back at the creature, seeing as it disarmed him, grinning now. As it raised the hammer with both hands, thinking him defenseless, Thrashnald tackled the monster down, his left shoulder in its right rib cage. He then leaped up a little bit as he raised to his knees on its chest, slamming his fists into its face as it grabbed him with both hands, throwing him above his lowered body. With that, three rapid surges of energy emitted as he grabbed the beast by its shoulders, throwing him below where he stood, seeing the hammer abandoned within the battlefield. He grinned, then leaped backwards, seeing the creature roaring with blood shooting out of his mouth as he stomped towards him.

He lowered his arms, walking towards him as well. As the monster roared, tucking his left arm into his right waste to swing it at his chest, he leaned back, dodging it. He then accompanied the attack with a swift slam in the face with his right fist, a surge going through it as he watched the creature stumble backwards. It then balled up its fists and raised them above his head, allowing Thrashnald to give a powerful and swift elbow to the center of its chest as it yelled in pain. As if a reflex, the Minotaur kicked its left foot into his chest, sending him a few feet back. He slowly rose, accompanied by a left uppercut from the beast, sending him further. He finally rose, sending a fist towards him before he could strike again. The Minotaur simply grabbed it, as well as the second fist swung, not letting go.

It was then when he grinned at this fact, the monster seeing the madness in his eyes as steady explosions of power could be seen being emitted. Thrashnald stood there strong, pushing his fists forward as the Minotaur tried to resist, leaning backwards till it finally fell on its knees. He twisted his right fist, hearing a large snap! as the Minotaur yelled in pain, feeling its right shoulder go limp, letting go of his hand. It remained there, and without mercy, Thrashnald slowly cocked his fist backwards as much as he could, the steady amount of combustion getting faster and faster till no pause could be heard. With a final yell and an immense slam to its left side of the face, the explosion on impact could be seen as a pink electric explosion as the Minotaur shot down to the ground, going limp.

After that, Thrashnald panted, shutting his eyes for a moment as he looked down towards his left waste side, his hand on it now, feeling it bruised. "Damn." He muttered to himself, "Almost flawless. Yet he had touched me." He spat outwards to the right of him in disgust as he looked back down at the dead creature. "No matter, you're mine now." He said, walking up to it, lowering to his left knee as he touched its chest where the normal human's heart would be and began to drain its power. He felt relieved, the pain gone from him as he rose, looking back to see if any warriors had died. None that he would've seen, but there probably were. He opened his right hand wide, and his sword appeared in it. He grabbed a hold of it firmly, and lowered his arms, walking towards the rest of the fallen monsters.

Yuna's original plans were to go back to the dorm; but the girl had called up all new students; despite her already having a map, AND she went to the tour when she was in Elementary school. She sighed, and walked over to the group of students, who were already gathered up by the area... Yuna felt the eyes looking at her. She just came randomly out of nowhere, after all. She stopped herself from getting flustered, and took a deep breath.

"Don't worry everybody, I'm here now." She said with sarcasm in her tone; she usually had a sarcastic tone in her voice. Some of the people smirked, while others weren't very impressed.

Yuna didn't really care for the tour, so she didn't pay attention to what the tour person said. Yuna was very familliar with the grounds of the Academy. She could probably make a map with her eyes closed. And then she realized a very big problem: Why is she even on this tour?

"Hey, tour person, thanks for the tour and all, it was really fun! But, I know my way through this place, so I'm going to take my leave now. I'll leave a tip, I'm sure that money will buy you something lovely." She didn't know the person who was doing to tour, nor did she care, but she said it with her usual sarcastic tone, as she stuffed a Five dollar note into the pocket of his shirt.

"Ta!" She said as she walked off to the girls dorm. She knew people were sneering at her, but she didn't even care. She just walked off; like an absolute boss. She made a bit of an impression, good or bad, but even so she doesn't care what people think, as long as she's far away from her family as possible.

James tripped a little and kept his balance, some bastard had stepped on his heel! There was no way he could react as he was focusing on the conversation. And so, he quickly whipped his head back, staring at the being who had apologized. "Yeah. You should be sorry, ya little shit." He giggled a little bit, imagining seeing himself trip like an idiot, that was quite funny. But, there was no need to strike at some girl who had stepped on his heel, no. Hitting girls is bad.

James turned back to the conversation, stuff about applying and interviews. How come everyone gets a fancy interview when James is just forced to go to this school? Oh wait, the stuff he did back in london. That's why.

Ignoring the boring stuff, he replied to the more interesting words; "Hm, I noticed that this place as a very unmodern look. The architecture is amazing, unlike normal shitty buildings. There's gotta be some cool secrets to find. Maybe a way out!" His smile had returned as he spoke, he seemed happy when talking about this topic, especially when he mentioned escaping the school. Although, no one knows that he was forced to except for the staff, those guys are gonna pay.

Galya's face went pale at James' reply. From the bottom of the heart she hoped that not everyone were like this.
A thought hit her out of sudden - if she didn't defend herself now, this might have a negative impact on her future. As much as she didn't want to, Galya tapped James on the shoulder.

"E-excuse me..." she stuttered. "I-i apogozed to you for doing something I'd try never to do again. Y-you didn't h-have to insult me like that..." her voice trembled.

Her heart started pounding, her forehead was soaked in sweat. Galya was so nervous about his reply, she regretted continuing that conversation. She was trying to hide her anxiety by making a straight face but her slow breathing, eye and mouth twitching and swallowing didn't help.

As soon as the girl's finger touched James' shoulder, it was pushed back. The vectors that arised from the finger and his body naturally pushing back to counteract the force (Newton's laws of physics) had been manipulated to create a vector which pointed in one direction only. The opposite to what the finger was pushing. This, of course, pushed the girl's hand back at a relatively large force.

Without looking back, James spoke, ignoring the girl; "'ey, I forgave you didn't I? Leave me be. Ya little shit." His head turned a little towards the girl, showing his side smile as he spoke.
