Biography

Place Of Origin: Kumla, Sweden

Birth Date: August, 1543

History: Born into the world on humans in the year of 1543, her first experience was one of cold and winters embrace. She was much more energetic and enjoyed these times of the year and was always more sad when the sun was out or when the weather was sunny and warm. During these times, she'd try to find a lake of freezing cold water or someplace that was somewhat cold. When she was 12, she got her first taste of magic as she found one morning she had sprouted wings. Initially she was excited, but also afraid of what her parents would think. After a half hour, she eventually got them to disappear. She then did some digging and figured out that fairies..or fae..had wings exactly like hers. Did that mean she could use magic too?

At the age of 15, she left home and began searching the world for answers, much to her parents dismay and sadness. After 4 years she found someone who had tracked her down. Another Fae named Fidella. She explained all of Liliana's questions and even helped her tap into her magical abilities. Since then, she has only become more involved with the magical arts becoming very adept in the arts of illusion. She and Fidella traveled many places until she died in a fight with a bunch of rival fae. They struck during the afternoon when Liliana's magic was weakest, killed her friend and scarred her face. She was lucky enough to get away, but swore a neverending hatred for the summer fae.

When she turned 100, she had landed in the city of New York. Here she found a small coven of winter fae who had been practicing the ancient art of summoning creatures. They offered to help her learn after hearing her story. She accepted and began her training with them. She did so for over 60 years where she was able to master a number of different animal summonings and even a couple more difficult elemental ones. She left them just before the 61st year and continued her travels until she came to Chicago and joined the coven of fae there, continuing to study the magical arts and fighting against the summer fae.

So begins...

Nightfall. It was the best time for her to be out and about. Loads of Summer fae to try and hunt down and even some humans she could get some pranks on if she got a chance. For some reason, when darkness came out there were some humans that stayed inside and others that decided to go outside and be with other humans.
The concept was ridiculous to her but overall she didn't mind. At least she had the whole night to find some kind of entertainment. She dressed herself in some night attire: Slick, tight fitting blackish blue dress with snowflake sequins on it, her Azure blue and white hair draping down to her shoulders in two pigtails, and tight fitting leather gloves on her hands. Her snow tattoos were plain to see and even shone brightly when struck by the moonlight. She locked her front door and set off into the night.

It was such a wondrous night and her attention was distracted so much that she didn't realize she had been wandering since she left the house. Such potential and out here she was in her natural environment. Suddenly, a whiff of something in the air caught her attention. Blood...so the vampires are around here somewhere. Figures. Didn't realize that I had gotten so close to the clubbing district.
She glanced around to see where the scent was possibly coming from. A nearby alley revealed slight movement from the shadows. So they're back there eh? Hope they got their fill.
She continued to walk. She didn't want to be around Vampires, especially after they had finished feeding. She needed to find some gullible human to play with or a summer fae wandering around somewhere. Highly unlikely of the fae being out now though. She clenched her fists as she continued walking towards the social market.
Perhaps there I can find something, or someone, to occupy my interest.

Liliana had crossed into the market district, taking in the sights. If humans had one thing going for them, it was that they made excellent structures. Buildings as tall as the sky, different shapes and sizes and colors. The cold breeze washed over her skin and she shivered in delight. Since she was here, she might as well check out the vendors and see what all was for sale. Suddenly, a scent crossed her nose and she stopped.
Sidhe
There was one here...strange to find one out this late, but she didn't mind. She'd show this foolish summer Sidhe the error of their ways as she ended their life. It was the least she could do to kill her boredom and help out her people all in one stroke. Her eyes began to scan the throngs of people to try and pick out the unlikely target.

Still, there was something that bothered her about that scent. It seemed somehow..familiar. Like someone she had encountered before, but that couldn't be right. Every summer Sidhe she encountered she had killed. Still, she put that thought in the back of her mind. For now, she needed to find that Sidhe...and then kill them. Her eyes jumped from person to person as they passed by her or went from store to store until she finally caught the glimpse of bright green. A jade green dress this late at night?
There you are. Now you're mine.
Smiling, she began to make her way over to the person in the jade colored dress, her focus entirely dedicated to her.

As she progressed towards her target, she felt her body become slow and weak. Why? She glanced around and saw the sun barely grazing over the horizon. Damn, it's morning already? How is that possible? My body is at its limits. I can't fight properly. She'll have to wait. I need to hide!
She turned and tried to vanish within the throngs of people that began to flood the district. No wonder there were so many people out now. It was morning.
She ducked into a nearby alley and sighed as the her body was enveloped in the shade of the building. Now to get away from that Fae. I can't fight like this!
She had to make her way back to the manor. Once he got there, she could get her bearings and relax until nightfall.

It took her almost 40 minutes to get to the manor. She arrived just before she heard the announcement of Rhondwyn Macaras death. Damn those Sidhe! I'll kill them for this! She decided to wait until the meeting was over to speak with Queen Sidonie.

Lyric hurried putting space between her and her foe. She had been weaving in and out of alley ways hoping to throw the sidhe off her trail. She felt a jolt of energy spike through her, dawn was on its way. She glanced over her shoulder watching the Fae turn tail. A thin smile reached her lips and she took a slow breath. She was silly not to leave the house with out protection a mistake she wouldn't make again.

There was just something about the Sidhe that just hit a note in her mind, but any winter sidhe she had met she killed. She made her way back to her loft curling up in her bed. The sun still had a few hours before it fully over powered the moon.

The weariness pulled at her more now, as it did all of her court, and Sidonie could feel sleep pulling at the edges of her consciousness. She willed it away, not ready to give in to it just yet but there was no reason that she had to make everyone else stay awake with her. The court's most important nobles and her own personal advisor's had discussed Rhondwyn's death for what felt like hours but in reality had been no more than half of one hour. They had nothing new to add and were now circling back through previous points already well covered. She stood in a fluid graceful motion, and her court ever attuned to her ceased their discussions as she did so.

"Come now all of you have thought long and hard and many good ideas have come from this but you are all tired. Go and rest now with my thanks."

In small groups the older fey bowed low to her before leaving to seek their own chambers or another's whom they currently were interested in. Her court held little faith with the human custom of monogamy or their issues with promiscuity, the Fey celebrated their lives with passion and did not worry about such things. Sidonie smiled slightly in remembrance of some of the lovers she herself had had in her youth. Oh but to be young again, she often found herself missing those simpler times when she could love where she wanted with naught a care. But being Queen was a duty and one she would not shirk even if it sometimes weighed heavily upon her.

It was as her court were leaving that she saw Lilliana Kertess clearly just returned from one of her jaunts into the city, Sidonie smiled and beckoned the younger Sidhe over. She had a particular fondness for Lilliana seeing her as perhaps a daughter she had never had, much as she had Rhondwyn even though the two were nothing alike. Though one things they had in common was their fervour in carrying out her wishes, especially if it involved hunting those of the Summer Court.

"Lilliana my child, How do you fare? I will not keep you long as I know you must be tired."

Liliana walked up and bowed to her queen. "My queen, I have been well. I was on the trail of one belonging to the summer court, but the morning prevented my pursuit. Once night falls, I shall resume my tracking of her."
Liliana was like the queen in most aspects. She loved her people, became weak when it was daytime but was still able to function for the most part and was extremely powerful.

"My queen, I shall get some rest before the night falls. Do not worry about me. Is there anything you require? Perhaps you wish for me to sing?" Sidonie was the only person in the sidhe castle who knew her passion and knew she could sing. She was also the only person Liliana Kertess would sing for.
Anyone else she would deny her ability or refuse the request. "If not, then I shall stay and keep you company."
Sidonie treated her like family and it was a grand feeling. No-one else had ever even bothered with her save for her real family back in sweden. It was for that reason along with her being queen that Liliana was so loyal to her and vindictive of her enemies.

Liliana walked with her queen to her private chambers, even being able to indulge in some imported wine and sit with her. Even though she was their queen, Sidonie treated her like family. She listened whenever she was worried or upset, was the only person to know of her singing and kept it a secret and even allowed her privileges like this that most other Sidhe would only dream of experiencing.

Then she said those words. "I have a matter to discuss with you." It spoke of neither ill or good, but kept itself hidden in a neutral realm of mystery. What could be so important that she must be spoken to alone in the queens private chambers? She set the glass of wine down and became fully attentive.
"Of course my lady. What is it that you wish to discuss?"
