"The moment you doubt whether you can fly, you cease for ever to be able to do it." -J.M. Barrie
Kadence loved watching the surroundings and she enjoyed her third eye being open. She laughed as she played with the sprite. When she heard her teacher's worried voice, she looked towards him. She closed her eyes then opened them again, still seeing the red and blue of her teacher's aura.
"How?!"
She cried this out as she began worrying. It wasn't long until she would be slowly going insane. She grabbed her head, a sharp pain hitting her mind. She screamed out, an agonizing scream as she felt the true effects of keeping one's third eye open too long.

Kadence felt her teachers hands hold each side of her face. She looked at him with slight tears but then she colored her eyes, trying to close it as she was told.
It was dark.
Darkness was all around her and cradled her as she floated in the abyss known as her mind. She turned around, seeing nothing but darkness all around. A large eye came out of the darkness. The color was a startling blue and green. It was beautiful. She watched as it stayed open. This must be my third eye. She watched it then closed her eyes and concentrated, starting to speak.
"I stand here in the darkness and I am trying to close you. You cause my teacher to worry and you cause me to have the possibility of losing my sanity. I demand you close now."
She spoke sternly and the eye seemed to listen. A voice rang out as it closed.
"Kadence..."
Her eyes fluttered opened to see her teacher above her. She put her hand to her head, a massive headache hitting her hard.
Then she said those words. "I have a matter to discuss with you." It spoke of neither ill or good, but kept itself hidden in a neutral realm of mystery. What could be so important that she must be spoken to alone in the queens private chambers? She set the glass of wine down and became fully attentive.
"Of course my lady. What is it that you wish to discuss?"
