a character in “The New Camp Keystone”, originally authored by Temperance, as played by RolePlayGateway

Description

Image
Name: Shae Moore
Age: Eighteen
What are you: Angel // Demon
Eye Color: Dark brown
Hair Color: Dark brown
Height: 5' 9"
Weight: 110
Personality:

Shae is very mellow, calm, cool and collected. She tends to always have a blank or serious expression on her face and is usually quite serious in demeanor. She's very quiet and you really never find her talking out of turn unless she does not agree with something. Shae, though mellow is very driven and stubborn. Whenever she sets out to do something, she will get it done, and because she is so stubborn she isn't satisfied with anything but perfection. Shae is very judge mental and people often have to earn her respect and trust. She's not too trusting and is weary of most if all strangers, always sizing them up and trying to figure them out. She will pick people apart mentally figuring out their strengths and weaknesses. Shae is actually very intelligent with a photographic memory of sorts, she uses this to her advantage a lot and can easily be that person to get you in trouble. Because of how she carries herself she floats under the radar easily, but she is a sneaky one when she wants to be. Shae is a very caring and loyal individual, though it might not show unless you got to know her. She is that person who will stand up for you whenever the situation calls for it. However if you are not someone she favors she would sooner than later let you die without caring. There is a part of Shae that is quite cold, but you pretty much have to get on her bad side to see it.

Power:

Creation: With creation Shae can create items or beings purely from her imagination at whim, and give them the properties in which she desires. The nature of this power only allows her to create her strongest creations one by one, as normal everyday items or creations of lower power can be made in higher quantities. Shae keeps with her a creation of a boy named Ren. He appears as nothing more than a tiny fairy which is usually seen sitting upon her shoulder. Other than flight and the ability to change his size from fairy to human, his abilities are teleportation and enhanced senses.

Auramancy: Shae can see the auras and the thus see the moods, energies, and states of health of the people around her. She is able to manipulate people's emotions and this is often used for things like the calming of others.
Spirit Manipulation: Spirit has many uses, Shae can see the dead, speak to the dead, and even see how they died. But spirit is also life and death itself. Spirit can be used to heal others, it also seems to open the door to people's unconscious minds allowing Shae to dream walk or get into the minds of those unconscious. Spirit in theory has the ability to take life from others to give it to ones self, however, as she is part angel she cannot harness this ability.
Blood Manipulation: An ability more tied to her demon side, Shae is able to manipulate blood. She is able to do this in currently only herself and blood already shed.
Force fields: Shae has the ability to conjure up force fields and various types of energy shields. This has always left her head in a constant state of invulnerability as there seems to be some kind of shield placed upon on her mind.

Shae Moore

"I really don't see how this was at all necessary." Shae said, as she walked up the path to Camp Keystone. It was a place in which she was unfamiliar with and had only heard about. Up until now, she had been living on her own and doing what she thought was pretty decent giving that she didn't remember anything about herself or her family. For as long as she could remember her childhood and young adolescent years were a complete blank. She seemed to not even have any recollection of the moment she created Ren, who sat on her shoulder, his arms folded. He had insisted that she stop living as such a hermit and that the life she led was dangerous especially alone. He tried to stress how helpful this place would be for her, especially for her abilities, but she couldn't help but feel the sole reason he wanted her here was to make friends and be 'safe'. Although safe was a word which she didn't seem to know the definition of. "If they make me share a room with other people, so help me - " She heard Ren chuckle softly beside her. "It will be good for you, you need to learn to be around people." She narrowed her eyes some. Every creature or being she came across ended up being bad new in one way for another. She failed to see how a large group of teenagers with powers was going to end positively.

The camp itself looked rather nice. It had a kind of homey yet overly decorated for a 'camp' kind of look. But before she could take in all the sights, she found herself now inside of the camp, standing next to what seemed to be the only guy there. Ren had teleported them both there, which she wished that he didn't. At least only one person was there and he didn't make any kind of scene. Shae glanced at the person beside her, who was rather large in size, that and is aura suggested he were of dragon blood. His aura seemed to have mixed emotions and her eyes made their way over the colors around him. What troubles you so? She thought. "Master, you should introduce yourself." he said in her ear. "Ren I didn't know you were this annoying." Shae sighed, interacting with people was not really her strong suit, and she had a generally distrust towards everyone.

"You look too old to be just a camper here." she said. "So do tell me, what I am supposed to do now that I am here?." She had to look up at him just to speak, which was rather irritating. "I didn't exactly get the luxury trip here, so hopefully it was all worth it." Shae turned to Ren, "Well that was my socialization for the day, so don't bother me about it." Ren gave her a lighthearted smile of approval. His master usually not one to make nice with others. She usually seemed intimidating to people due the way she carried herself, which also came off as people thinking she thought herself better than them. This always upset him as his master was a nice person. She was generally very mellow and collected but whenever forced into making friends with people she turned sarcastic and cold. The years that he had been with her she had never had any friends or any family. While she had family out there somewhere neither he or she knew anything about them. Whatever happened at the moment that she created him he thought must have been either dramatic enough to make her forget, or something was done to her to make her do so. The moment he was created he remembers her having been unconscious. He looked at the man in front of them, hoping that he would be able to get Shae to see this place was worth while.

Johnothan devil Leeds, Counselor of cabin 2, was out in the woods without his bracelet on, he always hated bracelets and necklaces and all the other jewelry.

"Ploh, E tizs xy dosy!" Said the Demonic-looking monster. These words translate to 'Crap, I must be late!' In human. The Devil stood up, grabbed the bracelet, and ran through the woods and to the camp. He Ran to the front gate and put on his bracelet.

"Hello Mr. Athest. Whom is that? A new camper?"

David
David was looking blankly out the windshield of his car, barely paying attention to the road. He could drive well if he wanted, but at the moment he couldn't really care. Maybe hitting a few people would take some of the edge off. Being shipped off to some camp. How did that woman manage to get him to do this? It was stupid. A stupid camp with stupid rules, stupid campers, and stupid counselors. If anyone gave him a speech about being "nice" and "team building", he would probably lose it. But Ann assured him it wasn't that kind of camp. Apparently there weren't even humans here. Or at least, full ones.
Mumbling to himself, David soon saw what he assumed to be the camp. Camp Keystone. It didn't look that impressive, he decided. Just a normal camp. He still didn't like it, though. At this point David realized he had a scowl set on his face, and remembered Ann's advice. Smile, she said. It's easier if people like you, she said. But they both knew he didn't smile, not in this form at least. Muttering a few angry words, he straightened himself up and put on what he considered at least a pleasant expression (though, to be honest it was more of a blank expression) as he pulled up to the camp.
There were a few people near by already, at least one of them a camper. No... two of them. Then two people who looked slightly older, but not by much. Maybe it won't be so bad, neither counselor looked too strict.
It took a minute, but he finally managed to get out of the car with his things and walk up to the front gate, despite him wanting to drive away and make up some excuse to Ann. The first person he really noticed he could describe in one word, blue. The others looked fairly normal though, especially the counselors. Then he noticed they both wore something similar, a bracelet. Looking down at his own, he got a weird look on his face. "Do I have to wear that?" he said to himself," I'm already wearing enough bracelets..."
Bridgette
Bridgette didn't want to take a car all the way up to the camp, and she had parked at least 5 miles away, and was now walking, or more hiking, to the Camp. Thankfully there was only one path, or she would have been lost in no time. As the camp came in sight, she decided to use the last of her energy to jog up to it. Next time, she'll take the car. Fresh air, not worth it.
There were a few people about already, most of which looked like campers. She smiled a bit, thinking of how she felt when she first came to the camp. She actually couldn't quite remember, and that caused her to frown a bit, but she shrugged it off. She was sure she was over joyed. Or maybe not. Judging by how a few of these campers looked.
Looking around, she caught sight of a familiar face. "Athest, Johnothan!"

Nathaniel walked towards the gates of Camp Keystone, an older angel, Gabriel, accompanying him. It hardly seemed like a place where the Creator would send him to be punished. The camp was an outdoorsy looking place, with large, glamorous, wooden cabins.

"Try to keep your wings down," Gabriel reprimanded sternly.

Nathaniel gave him a glum look and attempted to fold them over. Ever since the Creator sent him back down to Earth, all he could think about was how that poor girl had disappeared- or maybe even died- because of his shortcomings. The two walked into the camp, and Gabriel kept a firm hold on Nathaniel's shoulder.

"I'm not going to run," Nathaniel pointed out petulantly, already in a bad mood.

A few people were loitering around, some chatting with each other. He assumed that they had already been to camp before, or, judging by their appearances, they were the "counselors".

"You will listen to the people here," Gabriel muttered into his ear. "There will be no... behavioral issues, understood?"

Nathaniel nodded his head blankly, and Gabriel loosened his grip on Nathaniel. Gabriel turned to look at him, his usual stoic mask replaced by a softer expression.

"Everyone really does want the best for you," he said, and squeezing Nathaniel's shoulder once, spread his wings, preparing to fly. He nodded curtly at him and flew off.

Nathaniel glanced around to see that he wasn't the only one that wasn't thrilled to be here. There was a snappish looking girl, with a pixie-like creature by her side, and a boy whose face was blank, but his eyes were blazing. Then, a few metres away from them was a blue boy. 'Ice Elf,' Nathaniel said to himself.

He kept his distance from them, since his unusual bad mood would most likely result in something awful for everyone. Sighing in annoyance, he glared up at the sky, half hoping that the Creator would see his scowl.

"Teppie", as she'd decided to call herself for her stay at the camp, hung from a tree not far from the area in which the new campers seemed to be arriving. Well, technically it would be more accurate to say that she was floating near the tree, and just holding onto one of its branches so that she wouldn't drift away if the wind decided to pick up. Either way, the general effect was the same, and she was provided with an excellent position from which to watch as people showed up.

Teppie herself had only arrived a few hours ago, showing up in one of her usual guises, a pharaoh in a bright robe, requesting the opportunity to stay at the camp and participate in the activities and events that took place. After that had been approved, she had been given the wristband that currently resided on her left arm, the one currently keeping her in this form. Exactly why it was this form that she had adopted was beyond her understanding, since she had never used it before, but it didn't really concern her. What was a bit irritating was the fact that being a human prevented her from using a great deal of her former strength, and tied her into a physical form, she supposed that it was the price one pays for a change of pace.

The Ice Elf that had arrived first had made her briefly debate whether or not to pop over there with some good-natured pun about him looking a little blue, but she had eventually decided to wait and watch until more people arrived, or possibly just until someone made notice of her, before she would head over. Besides, he'd probably heard such jokes before, and Teppie preferred to be original. After that, it didn't take long for the two to be joined by other counselors and campers, and one of the latter seemed to be accompanied by a pixie-like entity. Yes, the multidimensional being mused to herself, this was going to be interesting indeed.

Athest smirked as familiar faces came to the camp. Bridgette, Luna, the new counselor Johnothan as well as some campers filed into the lot one by one. A few moments passed before he heard a question behind him. "You look too old to be just a camper here." she said. "So do tell me, what I am supposed to do now that I am here?."

Athest turned to find a camper and a slightly smaller camper resting on the first's shoulder. "Shae Moore," He deduced aloud. "And that must make the little one Ren. I'm Athest, the camp director. I'll tell you what Shae," Athest turned and pointed to the main building. "Go sing in there, one of my counselors Johnothan, should be there and they'll get you all squared away."

He patted her on the head and handed here a red bracelet from his pocket. "And you're to keep this on at all times while in the camp borders. Rules is rules and all that." With that he stepped away and met Bridgette, hugging her lightly. "Bridge, good to see you. Been a while." He said a bit disheartened by the memories tied to the people here. No doubt, she remembered Nick and his fate as well.

Shae Moore

Shae was rather irritated at the man's initial response, as if she didn't know who Ren and herself were. He obviously knew, perhaps he just liked to talk to himself. She did wonder, how he knew of her, and especially Ren. She didn't think Ren notified anyone of her coming here, and her getting here was a very spur of the moment decision. This would probably bug her for a while. She looked at the bracelet in which she was supposed to wear, she already hated it here. That was the first and last straw. It had to be some kind of tracking or power suppressing device. Some kind of device to keep you in line. She didn't spend a good lot of her time to work on controlling her powers just to have them hindered. Perhaps however it was just a bracelet. However, all he had said was that she needed to have it on her at all times. She didn't hear anything about wearing it. She took it stashed it in her back pocket. When he patted her on the head like a child she mentally protested. How old did she look to him? She was not a child, and she surely didn't want this strangers hands on her. If he ever did that again her reaction would certainly be different.

She turned away heading towards the direction in which he pointed where some Johnathon was supposed to be waiting. If there was anything that she hated it was authority, being told what to do, and being under the watch of people. How did Ren talk to her into so many things? She certainly loved how absolutely nothing was explained to her, but this was something that she was used to, she was used to making it through life with hell being thrown at her without knowing the reasons why. She glanced around at other campers as she headed towards the main building. There was certainly a wide array of species here, some of them seeming to be in terrible moods. She couldn't blame them. "You're not going to put that on are you?" Shae didn't answer, she was sure he knew the answer before he even asked. "Well I am sure they will make you." Naturally.

She opened the door to the main building and looked around some, she walked up towards a desk and signed herself in. She didn't bother with waiting for this Johnathan person, their attentiveness to their campers seemed rather lackluster anyways. After she made her way out she wandered about looking for an empty spot in which she could get even remotely comfortable. She made her way to the middle of a the field and sat down. "Ren I don't think this place looks very promising." Ren floated from her shoulder and hovered in mid air in front of her. "Come on now, you haven't given it a chance yet, it will be alright, you might even enjoy yourself." She gave him an odd look which prompted him to grin, "- a tiny bit." Ren knew she was used to being alone and had lived most of her life that way other than his presence. "What do you think happens if I lose this bracelet?" She said, as she flipped it around in her fingers. "Mmm...wearing that could be important."

Jordan Davis

Jordan and her pack had been walking for about three hours in the woods. Since they always lived in there, they didn't see a reason to shift into their human forms. Jordan was walking beside her father when he looked at her and said, '' Jordan, you do not look as happy as I meant for you to be. Is everything alright?'' Jordan looked up at her father, who was far taller than her. She sighed and said, '' I'm just not feeling it. I mean, if I knew that there would be more wolves that I could bond with, then I wouldn't mind so much, even one wolf would do just fine.'' She said that as she, stepped over a fallen branch and walked beside her father again.

Jordan could only think about the woods, the wolves, being close to her father on a cold and stormy night, and being with her pack. Everything she knew was going to be stripped away from her at this, what was the name? Keystone or something like that? Jordan just kicked a stone and watched it as it fell into a small ditch in the ground.

She kept her eyes on the cold, earthy ground, as she saw her bottom, fur covered paws brush through the cold, wet grass. Jordan sighed and kept on walking with her pack, then they all stopped, Jordan looked around, smelt the air, listened to the forest to see if they all heard or saw anything. Jordan frowned, and looked back at her father. She said, '' Father, why have we stopped? Is there something wrong?'' Her father looked at her pack and nodded, they slowly started to make their way back to their camp as Jordan and her father stood at the ending of the woods.

Jordan's father looked down at his beloved daughter, who reminded him so much of her mother. He smiled and said, '' Jordan, you must make the rest of the way by yourself. Only the people going to camp Keystone may leave the woods. The pack and I must leave, we're not welcomed to the camp.'' Jordan only frowned, she hugged her father tightly and said, '' But, I don't want you to go. I'll miss you too much.'' Her father smiled, returned the hug and doubled back to the pack, and left Jordan by herself.

Jordan watched as her father and the pack were out of sight. She looked away, she put her backpack down and grabbed her I-Pod out of it, and her purple ear buds. She grabbed her bag, put it back on her back and started walking. She put her ear buds in and started to listen to some music, as she made the rest of the way to the camp.
Jordan only melted into the music and didn't give a care about the things around her. She wanted to forget and just keep her mind of camp Keystone, where she would be spending this Summer. Jordan Was about fifty feet away from what looked like a group of people and creatures standing around, when something caught her attention.

Jordan took a deep breath, and exhaled slowly. The scent was familiar in a way, yet unknown. Jordan took her ear buds out and looked around, she used her ears to see what the others couldn't see. Jordan could hear a faint growl in the other side of the woods, it was another wolf's growl. Jordan moved her neck to the left, then the right, as she heard a cracking sound she smiled. She smelt the air again and could definatly could smell wolf. Jordan smiled and made her way to the group of people. As Jordan stood with the ever getting bigger group of people, she put her ear buds back in and started to listen to music again. She looked around and saw as some were hugging and talking, Jordan guessed that some knew each other and some were knew. Jordan wasn't in the best mood, so she just ignored the others and got into her music.

Fabien Maddalle
Fabien had been up for hours, just sitting in a tree, looking at the camp. He smiled as he saw people hugging and greeting each other.
Fabien then caught a scent of a she-wolf, he growled slightly under his breath, but then stopped as he ever so slightly remembered it.
He climbed down the tree, grabbed his small amount of belongings that he had,and made his way towards the camp. He slowly made his way through the crowd of people, he felt a little un-easy due to his monsterly appearance that would have any human running. He looked at the other wolf and forced a small smile on his face, he was happy about the other wolf, just a little nervous that she could either be friend or foe.
