Bridgette
Bridgette's eyes scanned over the paper, eyebrows scrunched together in confusion. After a minute she looked up, to say something about how it all didn't make sense, but Athest began talking again. "It's Nick's. I know it is.Not just the handwriting, the blood. I know the smell of Shadronian blood when it hits me." Nicks blood? She blinked at the sheet, then at Athest. She didn't have a single helpful thing to say, but Athest went on anyways about a council meeting at the bonfire.
"They can not know what we know. They'll abuse this to no end. Got it?"
\
Finally she nodded, happy to have a sure thing to say. "Of course. How would they find out? I know they're the council, but they don't know everything. Question though..." she said, pausing to think. "The council is coming during the campers bonfire... Should that worry me? I don't know how I feel about them being around in case something goes... wrong"

Teppie had been growing increasingly bored with the situation at hand, primarily because she was too far away to hear any of what was being said. She was fairly certain that what was happening was actually very interesting, particularly based on the expressions and actions that the people bellow seemed to display, but she was still mostly out of earshot, and only able to catch some of the louder stuff. It occurred to the being that it was yet another limitation of the form that she now took, as a result of the bracelet's power, but she'd still play along nonetheless.

This train of thought let Teppie to realize that, while she had come to this camp to participate, she'd been doing little more than observing, much as she had been for the past... how long? Well, that was rather open to interpretation, and really not the point anyway. What was important was that she get out there and start interacting with these people, creatures, whatever they were to be classified as.With her path set, Teppie was about to pop down and say hello, (using the Jersey Devil as cover to appear behind, since she was unable to appear within anyone's line of sight, and he was big enough that it would probably work,) when the draconic director's voice became easy to distinguish. Based on the letter, or perhaps it was a note, in his hand, and another thing or two, he seemed rather upset.

"Cabin three. These are your campers, Johnothan's are on the back, he's in cabin two. I need to have a word in private with Bridgette. And for Christ's sake, Leeds! Shrink. Now."

And with that, he was off to the office with Bridgette. As much as Teppie thought it might be fun to try and eavesdrop, she didn't seem much point in it. Instead, remembering from this morning where she had been assigned, she decided to appear inside Cabin 3. It had been a while since she'd last interacted with another thinking creature, sans her request for entry into the camp earlier, and so she chose to start off small, but on the right note, with the whichever of her cabin-mates happened to show up first. From her perspective, the best way to accomplish this was to startle the living daylights out of them. This goal in mind, the extraplanar entity floated a few inches off the ceiling, just inside the door, waiting to swing down face to face with the first person to walk in.

Chase
Chase listened to Bridgette and took his bag to Cabin 1. He was nervous about meeting his cabin-mates, and finding out what race they were. He loved being an Ice Elf, and thought it was the greatest race in the world, though they were on the verge of death. Chase's thoughts went to his parents, wondering how they were doing wtih the whole gathering. It's been a while since he's seen them and only hoped that they'd be home when he was done with camp. Chase finally got to the cabin, and opened the door. He slowly walked in and found which room he liked. Chase threw his bags on the floor next to the bed and flopped on the bed, to test it out.

Nick
Nick sat around the fire in the middle of the village as the whole village was arguing whether or not Chief Keelan should attend the bonfire. "What are your thoughts Master Soren?" One village asked outloud, causing everyone to go quiet. Nick looked up from the fire to the one that asked him the question. He took a quick look at everyone, seeing that they all were wanting to know. "There's no need to worry. The director is a good warrior, and will not allow anything to happen on his watch. He's a good man, and Chief Keelan will be in good hands." Nick said in a deathly cold tone. His once gentle caring tone had died off, being replaced by this deathly cold one. "I agree with Nicholas. No harm will come to Chief Keelan, I can assure you that." Adrea added, her voice was the complete opposite of Nick's, being sweet and kind.

Nathaniel heaved a sigh and picked up his bags. If they weren't going to do anything, he might as well put all of his things away. He wondered what exactly Gabriel had packed for him - human clothing was still a little strange to him. Also quite puzzling was the bracelet and its powers. How exactly did they manage to keep his wings completely down? His feet were beginning to throb a little, tender from infrequent use. Nathaniel picked up the pace and began a steady jog up to Cabin Three, hardly feeling the rocks and sticks beneath his feet. Drawing closer to the cabin, he slowed down and looked back to make sure that he hadn't dropped anything. He opened the enormous door and peered inside. Not only was the cabin magnificent on the outside, it was extremely well furnished to boot. He stepped inside awkwardly, and looked around. He decided to take a little tour of the cabin, when he saw a short blonde girl in the room with him. Surprised, Nathaniel stumbled back a little. "Wha- when did you get here?

Well, that hadn't been the response that Teppie had been expecting. The surprise had been anticipated yes, but the fact that he chose to question the time of her arrival, while ignoring the fact that she was currently suspended upside-down in the air in front of him, was not. In answer, she musingly raised (or was it lowered?) a hand to her chin, almost seeming to be stroking an imaginary beard in thought. After a moment of this, the being replied with "Could you be a bit more specific? There are several applicable answers to that question as it currently stands."

Just then, a thought seemed to occur to her, and she extended a hand to the brown-haired boy in front of her. "Ah, but where are my manners? My name is Nya- Teppie. My name is Teppie. I am delighted to make your acquaintance." The interdimensional being recovered from her little verbal stumble quickly. Still, she really needed to get used to participating in conversations, or that was quite likely to happen again.

TIME JUMP: BONFIRE!!!

An announcement rung through the camp, announcing that it was time for the beginning of the summer bonfire and that all campers and staff were to make their way there. The staff began to make their way to the bonfire pit. The wind blew strong from out of no where, as a older figured showed up, wearing a blue cloak, and slowly walked towards the bonfire. There were three seats sat up on the stage, one mark with Druid markings, one with Vampire markings and the other with Elven markings. The blue cloaked figured moved towards the seats and stood next to the elven marked chair. A red cloaked figure formed from smoke, standing next to the Vampiric seat. Slowly from the woods, came a green cloaked figure, moving slowly and elderly up to the Druid seat. The three of them stood next to their seats until everyone had gathered at the bonfire.

Chase:
Chase heard the announcement and slowly headed towards the bonfire. He wasn't sure where it was, so he followed the crowd that seemed to head in the same direction. He figured he'd end up finding the bonfire. His hair had turned to a dark brown colour earlier, which he didn't like. Chase loved being an Ice Elf, and thought that his icy blue hair made him even special, though all ice elves have blue hair, just different tints.

Nick:
Nick and Andrea stood on the cliffs of the mountain watching the bonfire area closely. The black cloaked figure could be seen on the cliff, if someone had good enough eye sight, and was paying attention. A feeling as if someone was watching filled the air as Nick and Andrea watched carefully. "So he did show up. It happens tonight, Nick, will you be able to act tonight?" Andrea asked quietly, worried that Nick may allow things to get out of control, and cause more damage then good. Nick nodded in response. "What needs to be done, will be done." Nick replied. His cloak swayed in the wind. Nick slowly moved his hand, which was covered by the cloak, commanding the shadows directly. One thing about controlling shadows, once a Shadronian took control of the shadows, no other being was able to control them.

The shadows slowly and unnoticingly started to move in towards the bonfire. They were commanded to build a barrier so that nothing could get out, but it would be a while before it was complete, dusk was still setting. Nick took a deep breath and slowly let it out as he saw Chief Keelan enter the area.

David
The announcement made David grumble as he sat in the shadow of a tree, picking at his bracelet and wishing to remove it. He knew the bonfire was coming, but didn't look forward to being in a crowded place and possibly forced to be social. Still, he got up and started walking to the bonfire. He'd looked at a map within the first hour of being at camp, and already had the layout memorized. He had a good memory. Though, after walking a bit it became clear it wasn't that necessary since a whole crowd was going to the same place. Deciding to fall back a bit, David walking a bit away from everyone else, eyes looking over the people and deciding who was or wasn't worth his time. There was one brown haired guy following the crowd, looking a tad bothered by something, but David couldn't imagine what. After a closer look, he realized it was the blue kid he first saw, the ice elf.

Bridgette
"Bonfire!" Bridgette squealed, half skipping half jogging to catch up with everyone heading there. She was trying to stay positive, despite what Athest had shown her. She would act happy, for the campers at least. It seemed to work for some, who looked like they were at least trying to have fun, while others just looked downright miserable. "Can't please 'em all..." she muttered, but kept the cheerful smile. As she approached the bonfire area, she saw what she assumed to be council members and felt a bit uneasy. It wasn't exactly from them though. Looking around, her smile disappeared. She felt like something was off. More off than it already was, that is.

Teppie frowned as she made her way to the bonfire. That had not been as entertaining as she had hoped. Even so, she would remain optimistic, or as close to it as a being such as her could get. The bonfire might be interesting, what with that mysterious figure watching, something was bound to be up. Mind you, she couldn't actually see him in the traditional sense, her current form saw to that, but she could perceive him. Unfortunately, it would seem that he could see her, either that or someone else could, as she wasn't currently able to teleport. But, in her experience, people watching ominously from a distance usually meant that things of interest were about to occur.

As such, the extradimensional being decided that she wouldn't spoil his, and possibly her, fun by pointing him out to anyone else, or asking if it was common around these parts for people to just stand at the edge of cliffs, letting their cloaks billow about. That would be amusing though.

Instead she approached the group of campers, fellow campers, she corrected herself, lazily swinging her feet out from under her and allowing herself to drift the remaining several feet, before bringing herself to a, relative, stop with the assistance of a nearby boy's shoulder. "Much obliged." she thanked him as she began to float idly through the crowd. The lad in question seemed less than amused, but neither commented nor pursued.

And there was blue-boy, which was apparently the name that Teppie would associate with him until she knew his actual name. Possibly afterward too, assuming she didn't come up with something better first. Speaking of which, she couldn't head over there just yet. Not only because she wasn't currently drifting in that direction, and like heck she was going to exert the effort required to change direction again, or, god forbid, actually walk over, without a good reason, but also because she still hadn't thought of any original, preferably non-offensive jokes about his pigmentation.

Interrupting this train of thought, came the sudden intensification of a feeling that had been bothering her since she put on the bracelets: containment. Something was trying to contain her. Not her specifically, more likely than not, but a group that happened to contain her. This was annoying, to say the least. Whatever entertainment would be offered this night had better be worth it.

Athest grunted, hoping that he could trust Bridgette. He had no reason to believe he couldn't, but still, after everything that he'd been through he was constantly on edge. Especially tonight, when his mentor, Lord Kain was in attendance and two of the other elders. "Well i'd best put on a good show at the least." Marching out the back door of his building, Athest walked until the sun began to set, its golden rays gleaming off of the scales unfolding from his skin. A grin spread across his face as his size doubled, tripled, his silhouette blotting out the sun as it set and he grew.

An hour or so in the dark and everyone was assembled at the stage, the paper lanterns hanging in the air from minuscule wires above the campers. It wasn't enough light though, to see the stage. Between the large wooden platform and the campers lie a metal ring, ten feet across and filled with stacks of hickory wood. A roar shook the darkness of the camp. Hurricane force winds nearly tore the wire and snuffed out most of the lanterns, but the true surprise came with a blaze from the sky. Fire rained from the clouds and ignited the bonfire ring in a wave of heat and light. Athest's massive claw came down onto the stage, half the wooden platform pinned beneath his talons. Now, the boy was even larger and more powerful than his father.

Athest's form was mostly lost in the shadow of night, but his massive claw and ruby eyes glinted in the fire light. The ebony and ivory mix of scales that adorned his hide rustled and stood on edge as he let out a roar, coupled with a plume of fire straight up into the night sky, illuminating the other hundred or so feet of Athest's serpentine body in an orange blaze.

With the fire subsiding from his throat, Athest returned to his human form and cracked his neck as he stood at his full height of nearly seven feet tall. "Welcome," he roared over the voices of the campers and the sounds of the night wilds only a short distance away. "To the grand reopening of Camp Keystone!" His arms flew wide and the lights adorning the camp's pathways flashed to life. He glanced over at Bridgette with a smug look, almost as if saying "Jealous?"

Bridgette
Bridgette took it upon herself to sit in the grass, near the edge of the bonfire. After awhile, a dragon like Athest showed up. How did she know it was Athest? Because no one else looks that smug or would show off like that. Seeing him had her chuckling lightly, for a minute forgetting about the possible danger around them. She whistled before laughing a bit more as he gave a welcoming . When he gave her the smug teasing look though, she took is as a challenge. "Watch it, Dragon-Boy! If you've forgotten, I can mind control your ass!" she called, her own expression smug.

Since she'd been a student, she now had almost perfect control over her powers. Even better, she could now specify who she controlled as long as they were male, and not effecting everyone near her unless she willed it. She had to admit, it was much more useful than mass control. Especially if her allies are guys.

She did give Athest credit for the lights trick though, she couldn't do that. But she could make him do that if she wanted, which to her, was almost better. She didn't care for the flashy impressive stuff, as long as she knew herself that she had all the power she needed.

"Mmm you don't need to use your powers to control me baby." Athest playfully retorted. The least he could do was adopt his old personality for a few weeks to keep his friends in good spirits. With a wink to the redhead, he turned back to his campers, their faces lit by the flickering flames. "That lovely lady right there, is Bridgette O' Conner, the Co-Director of our lovely camp and the counselor for cabin number one." Athest paced up and down the stage as he continued, a bright grin adorning his face even if it was just a mask.

"I'm Athest Euridiclyes, the Lamia elder and camp director. As for our other counselors, you'll have Johnothan Leeds and Luna Hart who are both preparing your cabins as we speak, and as such will be joining in later." He paused and glanced around the crowd, catching eyes with Bridgette once more as he did. She was smiling and that perked him up a bit. Lord Kain and the other elders sat just off to the side of Athest and he could feel their eyes boring into his skull. Watching, assessing. Protecting their investment.

The coldness of that statement seeped in. Lord Kain had taken him under his wing when Ladon could not. Politics and family don't mix well, so Lord Kain, one of the other senior members of the council and an old acquaintance began mentoring Athest in the ways of the elders. Two of the elders were immortal and the third was older than the dirt he praised, but out of them Kain would be the only one who would give a rat's ass about anything besides his investment.

"Now many of you may be looking up here and thinking 'I don't care, I just want this summer over with'. Well you can stow it because I can guarantee that this summer will be an adventure for you." His eyes took one last scan of the crowd before he finished up, and realized how small of a group this year would be. "Just take a look around, I can guarantee that you'll figure atleast one thing out about yourself that you never knew. After all that's why we're here." He threw his arms wide once more and all the lights except the bonfire suddenly went dark. "Now head on out to your cabins, tomorrow's a full day with much more to say and do than I can fit into tonight. Good night everyone!"

As the crowd thinned, Athest sat heavily on the edge of the stage and waved Bridgette over, while the golems that he had built in the spring began cleaning up.

Nick:]
As the crowd began to move away, they began to bump into each other, something had stopped them from leaving, a barrier of some kind, a dark black barrier. The wind began to pick up some as thunder rolled in the distance. Nick nodded to Andrea and she smiled back. Both of them disappeared from their ledge. The crowd looked at Athest in confusion of not being able to leave. The knights that were to protect the camp was stuck on the outside of the group, trying to get in. The few knights that were inside were trying to keep the campers calm. "Athest, is this some kind of joke?"[/b] Mistress Arwen, the Elven Council member asked in her kind but stern tone.

Two bolts of lightning struck the ground next to the fire, one black bolt, one white bolt. From these two bolts, two figures appeared. One figure was wearing a white cloak, and the other wearing a black cloak, their hoods were up so that no one can see them. [i]"Everyone remain calm, there is nothing to worry about. The barrier will be destroyed once our business is finished here."
a females voice called out. Both figures stood tall and still, watching everyone. The knights surrounded the figures to defend the camp, but soon was taken by surprise as shadow figures appeared, stopping the knights.

Chase:
Chase remained away from the fire, seeing how it was a new, strange feeling to him. He has seen fire before, but remained away from it. He didn't get cold, but he did get hot pretty fast and he didn't like it. Chase watched as the two figures appear in some what of a awesome way. He was interested in everything that was happening, and was wanting to watch more.

Athest's tensions ran high as it was, and this intrusion did not calm him any. He held his hand in front of the elders defensively, his blue eyes bright with anger, and pulled Bridgette onto the stage behind him. "Not one that I planned milady." He replied callously. He turned to the two individuals. "Whoever or whatever you are, I do not appreciate intruders in my home. You'll state your business, then I will decide how you leave this place." His ebony claws Shot like bullets from his fingers until they were fully extended, his tail wrapping in a ring around the two as a barrier between the intruders and the campers. "Or you can take the high road and leave, with your own two feet. Otherwise... well I did miss dinner tonight." Although normally a steak man, Athest shamefully remembered his time in his father's court. When the only things that could kill you were family and a squadron of M1 Abrams tanks, you were the top of the food chain. As such you were expected to clear your plate, no matter the meal, and quite a few of these meals were to his liking. "Well?" He asked, not realizing he was still grasping Bridgette's hand. "What'll it be?"

Fabian and Jordan

Fabian and Jordan had been standing around the group of campers and staff members. Jordan got her wristband and she looked like a regular, green eyed, blond haired sixteen year old girl. Jordan the walked over to her cabin to unpack and get to know the grounds until she had to leave for the bonfire that night. As she walked into the cabin, she made her way into her room, threw her bag and back pack on the bed and flopped down on the floor. She sighed and closed her eyes and proceeded to meditate for a few minutes while she had the silence.

Fabian watched Jordan get her wrist band, put it on and transform into he human self, Fabian smiled and watched her walk off to her own cabin. He sighed, got his wrist band and shifted into his, light skinned, blond hair with some brown highlights and green eyed human form. He looked around at the other campers and walked off to his own cabin as well. He walked through the door and walked into his room, he threw what some belongings of his on the bed and walked out of the cabin. He walked over to the beach and sat down near the boat house and starred at the water.

Jordan finished her mediatating and walked out of her cabin, she caught the smell of the other wolf and traced it to the boat house. She stopped and saw him sitting on a rock, looking at the water. As she studied him over some more, she ever so slightly recognized him, she smiled and softly walked up behind him. She took a deep breath and said, '' Uh, hi. You mind if I sit here with you?'' Fabian turned around and looked at Jordan, he smiled and said, '' Sure, make yourself comfortable.'' He looked back at the water and went back to his thoughts. Jordan sat down and looked around. She didn't see many campers yet, maybe they were all looking at their cabins as well. Not like she really cared, being alone was her thing, as long as there was another wolf here, she would be fine.

Jordan and Fabian had been sitting with each other for a while when they saw the sun setting, Jordan looked at Fabian and said, ''Well, we better get to that bonfire or we could get in trouble for skipping out. Wanna join me?'' Fabian looked at her and said softly, '' Sure, I'll go with you.'' He stood up and they walked together. Jordan and Fabian stayed quiet and just walked with each other until they reached the bonfire. There was already almost all of the other campers, and the staff members. Jordan and Fabian looked around and saw some others that they hadn't seen before. Jordan sighed and walked away From Fabian, she walked over to a tree and climbed up it and looked down at the others, she liked being up high, it made her feel safe so she could see everyone and not be suprissed by anything.

Fabian looked back in hoping to see Jordan, but she was gone. He traced her scent and saw her up in a tree, he smiled and just left her alone. He walked over to some of the other campers that were going to be in his cabin and said, '' So, I'm guessing we'll be cabin mates. My name's Fabian, and you guys are?'' He said as he dug hi hands into his hoodie's pockets and looks around, trying to avoid direct eye contact.

Bridgette
Bridgette felt something off about the unwelcome strangers, and not just the fact they were unwelcome. Athest had pulled her back on stage, which she didn't bother arguing against. Especially since we was going all dragon on the strangers. Narrowing her eyes at the two unknown people, she pretty much tuned out Athest's threats and questions. The campers were either freaking out or enjoying the "show", and Athest wasn't helping either. Giving the figures a once over, she pulled her hand away from Athests strong grip and walked out so she wasn't behind him.

"Athest, calm down, I don't see them trying to hurt anyone," she said, voice a lot less threatening and more calm. Then added, "I also have a feeling killing them is a bad idea." She then directed her attention back to the strangers. "But trapping us in a small space doesn't appeal to me. Though...." she trailed off, looking at the one stranger who hadn't spoken. Something was definitely off. And she honestly just didn't want Athest to eat them because of that. And that may make a few campers freak out more than they are.

David

David basically had gotten bored. Everyone was freaking out, but quite honestly, nothing was really happening. In his opinion. No one could leave, which just seemed like a standstill to him and pointless. No one was fighting. The camp directer guy was pretty interesting, but then red head tried to ruin it. Rolling his eyes, he turned his attention else where. Many campers were talking to each other or trying to leave. Elf boy seemed to be enjoying the show. But other than that, nothing interesting.

Master Keelan slapped a elder bracelet on Athest's wrist to force him back to human. "I agree Athest, not everything needs to be confronted by violence." Keelan said in a calm, elderly voice.

Nick:
Nick and Andrea stood before the crowd staring down one man in particular, who gave a soft nodd to a knight. That knight charged at the two cloaked figures. Nick simply grabbed the spear and swung the man onto the ground. As he returned to face At est and the other elders, the light of the fire caught Nick's eyes at the perfect angle, causing them to glow their bright blue color. He pointed towards the head knight and two shadow figures grabbed the knight and brought him forward. "We are the bearers of Judgement, you, captain Johnathon ferrle , are here by charged with two counts of genocide. Punishment by eternity in the abyss." Both figures said in unison. They placed their hands together and formed a portal. The light from the portal lit up the faces of the figures for only the knight. His eyes went wide and started to frwak out, before being tossed into the portal. Once it closed, it left a clear crystal orb on the ground. One shadow figured handed it to Nick, whom opened his cloaked and attatched it to the others, which seemed to be a cluster of crystal orbs.

The two figures then pointed to one more, Master kain, the elder of vampires. Two shadow figures formed behind the elder and escorted him to the two figures, forcing him to his knees. "We the bearers of Judgement are here to judge you, kain of vampires. Mother Gaia charges you with 413 counties of murder of the third person, 378 counts of murder of the first person, 19 counts of assassination, and 2 counts of Genocide...." the two figures said, opening another portal, again the light lit their faces for kain. "It's not possible....you're dead....you can't be here..." kain began to scream out. "We find you guilty of all charges and sentence you to eternity of hell's abyss." They both said and threw the elder in. The portal closed leaving a black orb, which was brought to Nick, and placed with the others. Nick and Andrea looked at each other and shook hands. They turned to leavr before beiing stopped by Arwen's voice demanding who they were.

They both turned to face the elders once again. Andrea took her hood off, she wore the white cloak. "I am Andrea of the anathains, and one half of the Bearers of Judgement." She said, in a calm sweet tone. She had brown hair and blue eyes, and her skin was kissed by the sun some. The black cloaked figure refused to take his hood off. Andrea placed her hand on Nicks shoulder amd smiled at him, and gave a soft nod to reassure him. He slowly took his hood off, staring start at Athest , Bridgette and Keelan. "I am Nicholas Soren, of the Shadronians, and other half of the Bearers of Judgement." Nick said in his gentle, stern cold voice. His blue eyes, where innocence once shined, was now only filled with a deathly stare. Arewn gasped in disbelief of who was standing before them. She's heard of both races and both people in particular, but thought they were dead.
