Deeper Description: Leonie has shoulder length, slightly wavy dirty blonde hair that she always wears down - except if she's doing sport. Her eyes are large and a shade of forest green that usually hold a look of innocence in them and her cheeks are permanently a shade of rosy pink.
She has a boy-ish figure with no hips, nor a chest to speak about and has a very fair complexion.
You could call her 'petite' but really she's just incredibly small, standing at a meek 5'1", although she honestly doesn't mind being short and slender because it just makes it easier for her to fade into the background.
Her small button nose and slight freckles finishes her 'cutesy' look and she could never really be classed as 'hot'.

Personality:
Leonie is shy let's say. Although she's not the normal shy, no, she's the most introverted person you will ever meet - She doesn't talk to anyone and when she does, you can barley hear her voice as it is almost as if she's whispering.
She is afraid of everything, mainly her own shadow, and therefore is constantly jumping when someone asks her to pass some paper or taps her on the back because they dropped their pen.
Leo is very, very calm and never blows a fuse, this is how she got her ironic nickname of 'Leo the Lion' it was not given to her because of the zodiac sign but because she was the complete opposite to a loud, scary, top-of-the-foodchain Lion.

She doesn't mind how she is although it does come with plenty drawbacks, such as the fact she has no friends because even if people try to be her friend, they can't, she simply won't talk to them.
It's not that she's so stuck up she thinks she's better than them and therefore won't talk to them but more that she really can't, her throat closes up and she goes bright red with embarrassment.

Special Skills: Despite her looks, Leonie is incredibly quick and exceptionally good at hiding.
Weapon: She doesn't carry a 'weapon' as such but her lion head necklace is very sharp at the edges so if she really needed to, she could probably cut through something with it. "Damn, I keep cutting myself on it."

History Before being sent to Oz:
There is a very good reason as to why Leonie is the way she is.
Growing up for her was probably the worst it could possibly be, her mother died in labor with a child that didn't last the night and her father was an alcoholic that didn't know how to look after a kid. Her mother knew just how to handle this man and keep him from drinking but Leo had no clue and so tried to spend as much time away from him as possible.
It wasn't that her father wasn't loving, but more that he was incapable of looking after them while blowing money on booze and still holding a job.
So she would lock herself in her room, away from everyone and everything and just paint, she painted many pictures on her bedroom walls of what she could remember of her mother and then what her sibling would have looked like had they survived.

It was only when her father found these drawings that thinks started to get even worse.
He hated her for reminding him of those he had loved and lost, but she was so young she had no idea what an affect it had on him, and so he hit her.
At first it was only lightly because really, did he want to hurt the only person he cared for? Of course not.
But as his bottle began to empty, his punches became harder until little Leo 'the lion' was reduced to a sobbing, whimpering child on the ground, her nose bleeding and her heart broken.

Her father, hadn't realized what he had done until it was too late.
He was distraught that he could do this to his precious daughter and so ran from the house and back to the pub, to drink away his sins.
And it was that, which killed him - The next day when Leonie had managed to drag herself from the ground and stop crying she went downstairs and saw him on the couch passed out, or so she thought.
So Leonie carried on the day without him, pouring herself cereal and getting herself dressed. She then walked into her parent's bedroom and used some of her mother's make-up (Her father couldn't bring himself to throw anything of hers away) on her bruises so that they wouldn't be seen.
Leonie did not hate her father, she in fact still loved him - She reckoned he had a good reason for beating her and that she was in the wrong and so didn't tell anyone.

That is until she got home, and found her father still 'passed out' on the sofa, so she went to wake him and when she found that she couldn't, she ran nextdoor and begged them to phone an ambulance.
They did and the next day Leonie was allowed to go and see her father, but he had died.

And that is the tale of this caring introvert and how she came to be even more timid and scared of her own reflection.

Anything Else: As time develops in Oz, she begins to get whiskers first, and then a tail; after that kitten ears.
