(Char, not Lottie)
17 years old, Female
The Dollmaster, C-Rank Draco Edge Member
One might say that Charlotte’s appearance reflects her true nature surprisingly well. She is of a taller stature for a girl, and although she does not know her own height, others estimate it to be above 5ft 6in (167.5 cm). She is slender, clearly built for agility over strength although one shouldn’t disregard the latter. She prides herself on her strength, although stamina is a different issue altogether. She has long dark hair, the brown hue almost black. It reaches just past her shoulders and contrasts with her fair skin. Her eyes are a pale shade of red, which some people find intimidating. She dresses for comfort rather than style, but despite this, her usual clothes consist of a skirt rather than trousers. She prefers her clothes in shades of brown.
Charlotte’s guild stamp is just above the left collarbone, along the base of her neck. It’s a red just a shade darker than her eyes.
~ Mentality ~
{Personality}
Charlotte is a person who mainly acts on two things: practicality and entertainment. Most of what she does and says falls into one of these two categories, and she rarely bases actions on emotion. She wears a persona of constant condescending cheer, and doesn’t seem to ever get upset beyond playful sulking or mild irritation. It’s an automatic instinct of hers to hold back on her feelings, and she ends up keeping them all to herself. On a different note, Charlotte is of the mischievous sort, finding enjoyment in what she considers the ‘harmless teasing’ of others. She can learn a lot about people from seeing how they react to her antics, so it has a practical purpose as well… but mostly, she does it for entertainment. Due to this and other factors, she often finds it difficult to have normal social interaction. Much of her personality comes from her childhood of independence, and even though she’s gotten used to guild-life, she still has a tendency to act alone. Rather, the concept of depending on others is unfamiliar to her. Her inexperience shows in her decisions, but she's always paying attention and always ready to learn from past mistakes, after significant brooding. She may react violently when teased and seem a little mean with her teasing, but she is a kind person beneath it all… probably… but with the way she acts when someone calls her Lottie, some might put that up to debate...
Doll Play Magic ~ Transformation Magic (training for Copy Magic) ~ ~Sleep Magic (training for Dream Magic)
{Signature Spell}
Ideal Doll – The user discards all inhibitions, leaving herself vulnerable while she focuses solely on the complete control of one doll. By infusing excess magical energy into the doll, she can raise its agility, power, resistance, and overall battle capabilities. Inanimate dolls have no physical limitations, so they can maintain that level of combat until the mage herself tires. It is possible to use this spell on living dolls as well, but there are heavy consequences on the victim. This spell is strongest for Charlotte when she uses Eira.
{Spell List}
~Puppeteer, Wood Doll, Rock Doll, Carpet Doll
This is Charlotte’s main form of magic. She has always had an affinity with Doll Play Magic and is fairly adept with it already. In fact, she’s so used to it that she often abuses it for trivial things, an example being how she uses it to animate her favorite doll, Eira. It is a humanesque figure that is as large as a smaller girl and wears clothes that liken it to a cat. Some people could even mistake it for a human being. It isn’t uncommon to see this doll trailing after its owner. Whether it’s due to Charlotte’s will or not is unknown, but it often acts as if it can understand other people and reacts accordingly.

{Biography}
Charlotte Leiss was born in a prosperous little town and raised by her father, a reputed doll maker, and her mother, a mage. It was a loving environment with an endless supply of toys for the little girl and countless tales of adventure and guilds. She eagerly listened to every word of her mother’s stories and often said that she too, would join a guild when she grew up. Her father, supportive of his daughter’s dreams, often made her dolls resembling famous mages that she could play with, but she was always fondest of a larger doll that was given to her on her seventh birthday. It was something her father had worked on over the years, and as large as the little girl itself. The doll was a girl with bright blue eyes and fair skin. It wore a cream hooded cloak with feline adornments. Charlotte called it Eira, and loved it. These times continued on until she was almost nine years old, when her mother died on a high-ranking guild request. Then everything changed.
Charlotte’s father, in his grief, became a recluse, choosing to spend his days alone in his room. There were no more toys for the little girl and no one to tell her stories. Her father wasn’t never good with domestic chores, but now seemed to simply ignore them. Insecure of her own future, the little girl took it upon herself not to bother him and to do things for herself. It was in these years that she learned to cook and clean, became independent, but the other children of her town shunned her because of it. By the time she was thirteen, her sweet disposition had twisted into the more sarcastic nature of now. She would have ended up worse had it not been for a strange happening. One day, Eira began to move. The doll became her closest friend, and she told it everything and anything, and it would listen. She believed for the longest time that it was her mother’s spirit returned, because Eira would know just what to do to cheer her up. Stranger still, the doll seemed to grow over the years with Charlotte, always just a little smaller than herself. Through Eira, Charlotte also discovered her own affinity with doll play magic, and enjoyed bringing her old dolls to life. It wasn’t until she was fifteen years old that she found out, quite by accident, that it was her father. She hadn’t known him to be a mage, but he had tried to communicate with her through the doll she loved.
She had always thought her father didn’t care and had hated him, but she had also thought he disapproved of her hopes to join a guild. After all, he’d always react negatively to any reference to guilds, mages, or her mother. However, she saw through what he’d done with Eira, how he’d taught her magic through the doll, and soon afterwards, she entered his room and said to his back, that she was going to join a guild. His only response were the words, be careful. It was enough. Now Charlotte claims not to have any lingering attachments to her old life or her father, but she’s still bringing Eira along, as lively as ever. However, the story of why she joined Draco Edge and how Eira went from a blue-eyed doll to its current appearance and life as a weapon? That’s for a different time.
