a character in “The New Mage Guild; Draco Edge”, as played by Gintoki Sakata

Description

Roady"Christopher" Domene: Chris, Christopher, 17-year old Male
Crimson Tyrant Roady, D-rank. Draco Edge Member

~ Physical Info ~

Image
{Appearance}
Despite being 17, Roady has the appearence of a child no older than 14. He has a short height of about 5'3, and is around 112lb. He has a somewhat built build, but still looks fairly scrawny as 1st glance. In all reality, Roady possesses strength reaches that of a raging bull. His appearence is incredibly decieving. Roady has Raven hair, and piercing red eyes. He can be seen wearing a red coat, which combined with his eyes, is part of the reason for his Alias. There are also an array of chains covering Roady right arm. These magic chains are to restrict the true potintial of Roady's magic. More will be explained about those later. His hair is very unkept, as he dosen't truly care about his appearence. Every now and then, one of the female members calls him a cute little kid, which ticks him off.
{Tattoo}
Roady's tattoo can be located in the middle of his back, right above a large scar that goes diagonally from his left shoulder to his right thigh.

~ Mentality ~

{Personality}
Roady is very cold towards others. He dosen't like crowds, and performs jobs on his own. He can constantly be seen sitting at his lone stool at the bar. He sometimes messes with the other guild member's for fun. But thats also how he shows affection. Basically if he threatens to kill you in your sleep, it means he likes you. He is definately a hard guy to get along with. But there are times when he is sympathetic towards others. The main one would probably be when hes drunk. He starts talking to any random person after he's gotten drunk, and even opens up a little about his past. But he soon comes to his senses and ends the conversation before he gets too in depth. Another time is when he protects his fellow guildmates in combat. Whenever one of them notices and thanks him, he denies it and merely replies that he did it for his own sake. Deep down, he considers them his nakama, but dosen't know how to show it. There are a few guild members who have seen through his shell, and consider him a big softy. Of course a guy like Roady would also take part in the many guild brawls that are pretty unavoidable. Sometimes he gets too drunk, and starts sending guildmates through walls. This is one of the only times Roady ever has a smile on his face, as he loves destroying things, plus well... he's drunk. At random times he has a sudden need to kill. Because of his past, he has become used to death, and almost enjoys it. He dosen't understand why he is always having these thoughts. But he has obviously become tramatized. He dosen't have a problem with killing, as long as it's for his guild. He would never resort to it unless absolutely neccisary. One last thing about him would be his distaste at being called cute. He gets incredibly flustered and angry. Yelling at whoever did it, and hurdling hundreds of death threats at them. This mostly only encourages the act to be repeated later.

{Magic-Types}
~Caliber Magic: Roady possesses a magic known as Caliber. It isn't too wellknown throughout the world, as only he, and perhaps a handfull of others can use it. Caliber magic basically utilizes the user's life energy, and reverts it into magic. They use this magic to empower their attacks. Those who can use Caliber magic ussually have a weapon, or some type of Catalist. Roady uses a Fauchard( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fauchard ) in battle. The amount of power that a Caliber magic user gains, depends on how strong their life energy is. If it is very weak, they could die after first using it. Once they stop using the magic, their life energy restores itself over time. They can also gain it back by stealing life energy from enemies. However, it take a total of 8 seconds of direct contact in order to steal life energy from their opponents. If they use all of their energy up ,and don't gain it back from their opponents, they die. If word of this magic were spread, it would be known as a new Forbidden Magic, and be banned from the magical world forever. Caliber users, basically take a big gamble in a fight. If they are strongwilled, they can crush entire mountains without too much strain, and thus don't have much to worry about. They use their life energy to it's fullest extent without killing themselves. These Caliber mages are among the strongest. However inexperienced Caliber users only use a small amount of life energy, to be safe.~

{Signature Spell} Caliber Magic: ~Leviathan- An upgrade to "Caliber Breach" that uses nearly all of the user's life energy. Using this move is highely fatal to anyone who isn't an expert at utilizing Caliber Magic. It triples the amount of power the user gains from his/her life energy, and is only to be used as a last resort. The user will become incredibly fatigued after it's use.

{Spell List}
Caliber Magic:
~Breach- Uses a fairly large portion of the user's life energy in one lethal blow. Depending on how strong their life energy is, decides how much damage it does.
~Syphon- The user can drain up to half of the opponent's life energy after 8 seconds of direct contact. The user can also sap life energy by hitting the opponent with their weapon, or making contact with their weapon. This can also be used with other living things such as animals, plants, and even spirits.
~Wail- The user lets out an incredibly loud wail, that immensly boosts their life energy's power for a limited amount of time. They must dispell their Caliber magic before this time limit is over, or suffer the aftereffects. These aftereffects consist of intense pain all over the user's body strong enough to cause them to pass out, terrible headaches that would make them want to commit suicide, and even death. After all. Power always comes with a price.
~Wave- The caliber wizard's only long-ranged base of attack. This ability sends out countless slashes of Caliber Magic, that differ in power. Some are even harmless, and could only kill a bug. The opponent will get confused on which one to avoid, and cause them to hesitate. Each slash is the same size, no matter how powerful or weak it is. This attack can consume 1-80% of his life energy into one attack.
~Cure- The user charges a small flow of life energy into the palm(s), of their hand(s), and touches any living thing from a plant to a whale, while curing any disease they have encountered. It can also heal small wounds, but not severe ones. An incredibly powerful mage with this ability could even raise the dead. Another reason why Caliber Magic could become a forbidden magic, sence necromancy is forbidden. This can also not be used on themselves.

{Non-magic Skills}
# Roady has a surprising amount of natural body-strength. This allows him to hold off multiple enemies even without the use of his magic.
# He is very quick, and can move at fairly swift speeds.
# He has a very high matabolism, which makes it to where he can't gain much weight. Therefore he can't eat all he wants and still look the same. This is good considering 1/5th of the guild's food goes into his stomach each year.

~ Personal Background ~

{Biography}
Roady dosen't remember much about his life before joining Draco Edge, nor does he care. He only thinks about right now, and dosen't care about the consiquences of his actions. The only thing he cares to remember of his past is when he was forced to take the life of his own brother "Jason". He and his brother were taken away from their parents at the ages of 12(Roady), and 11(Jason). They were taken to a place where childeren were forced to fight to the death for the amusement of their captors. If they refused to fight, they were tortured, if they still refused they were put to death. Both he and his brother abidded by these rules until 1 day, they were sent in as each other's opponent's. It was a struggle for survival or to make it so their only remaining relative they had could live another day. Roady chose survival as most animals would. Several weeks later the place they were being held became under attack, by a single wizard. This wizard had saved Roady and many other children from a horrible fate, although most of them went their seperate ways. Roady however decided to join their rescuer, and swore to repay his debt to the him. The man that saved them's name was Raith Kaleheister. He was a man who's personality didn't shy far from how Roady's is today. However, he did joke alot more than Roady does. Raith is also some of the reason why Roady hates to be messed with, and why he enjoys messing with others. When Raith asked Roady to tell him his original name, "Christopher Domene"m Raith replied that, that name was too boring for a spunky kid like himself. He decided that as long as Roady was going to be traveling with him, then he was going by the name of "Roady Domene", since it made him seem more wild. Roady soon found out that Raith was a rogue wizard who had left his guild when he found out they were secretly working with the dark guilds to bring down the other guilds. He reported them to the Great Magic Counsel, and his guild was shut down. The Councel decided they should also arrest Raith seeing as he was a former member of said guild. However, he had dissapeared without a trace. Raith then became a wanted man by both the Magic Counsel and the Dark guilds. There have already been several attempts on his life at this point. Now Raith travels wherever the wind takes him, to whatever town or village he runs into, helping them in any way he can. Eventually Raith started to notice that Roady had magical cababilites of a wizard. And thus he began training him in Caliber magic. He found this a particularly suiting magic for Roady to use. However, Roady soon became consumed by this magic, and accidently killed a man who tried to rob him. He had done his subconsiously. The entire thing happened in an instant. Raith knew this might eventually happen. One's anger can always get the better of him. Not to mention what Roady was forced to do when he was kidnapped. Later on Raith tried to help Roady control his anger, even resorting to different types of theorophy, but Roady just wasn't capable of doing it. Raith then decided that he could no longer teach Roady anything, and it was time for him to leave. Roady was crushed by this declaration. Raith, the man he considered a father-figure was abandoning him. Raith told him that Caliber magic has forced him to do many things his is ashamed of. He didn't want Roady to go down the same path he did. Therefore he used an array of magical chains to seal away Roady's power. They were made to continue recreating themselves, even when they were destroyed. An eternal seal that Roady could never get rid of. That was when the impossible happened. After Raith had given sealed Roady's magic away with the chains, a powerful dragon appeared and landed before them with incredible might. It sensed had the power of the chains and had taken interest in them. Raith told Roady to run and then began engaging the dragon in combat. Roady merely stood there petrified. He thought that Raith didn't trust him, and took away his powers because he thought Roady was a danger to everyone around him. Then there was the fiercesome dragon that had attacked them. He was too shocked to even move. Raith had been fighting at his full power, but the dragon was too much for him. In the first 3 minutes of the fight, Raith had already lost his right arm. He was now clutching his wound, panting hard. Even the man Roady thought was invincible couldn't stand up to a dragon. Before the dragon was about to land the finishing blow, Roady yelled out for it to stop. At the same time the chains that sealed away his power burst and fell to the ground. The Fauchard, which he was given to him by by Raith began pulsating with a powerful red energy. With fire in his eyes, Roady instinctually ran up to the dragon and leapt, slashing the fauchard down hard at the dragon's stomach. The blow was powerful enough to send the dragon crashing through a large field of trees, tearing them down as if they were a bunch of sticks. However, the dragon itself didn't have a single scratch on it. It was although surprised by the attack and retreated for the time being. Roady began walking towards Raith with the remaining strength he possessed, but soon went unconsious and fell the the ground. Raith ran over to Roady, which made his wound start bleeding more. He then noticed that Roady was dying. That power he used was too much for him. Raith knew that he was going to die soon anyway. He decided that he would use what was left of his life to save Roady. "Caliber Magic: Cure" were the final words Raith Kaleheister spoke before his death. Roady awoke the next morning, and found that the chains had recreated themselves. But he could also feel a small amount of magical energy running through his body. It seems that each time the chains are destroyed, the seal becomes weaker and weaker. He could now utilize a small bit of his magic. The next thing he noticed was Raith's corpse lying next to him in a pool of blood. He made his own tear-feeled funeral for Raith. He still remembers Raith Kaleheister as the greatest man he has ever met. At the time of Raith's death, Roady was 15 years old. He has spent the past 2 years traveling and helping out people just as Raith did. As both the councel and the dark guilds are for the most part unaware of Raith's death, Roady has been taking on his burdon as a wanted man. He has faced many dangers pertaining to Raith's enemies, but fought through them all. Now Roady has wondered into a lively little town known as Oshibana. He has heard that there is a new guild that has been started in Oshibana. Joining a guild has never crossed his mind. Because of Raith's teachings, Roady always thought that joining a guild might eventually lead to a life of fugity. Who knows what awaits him as he strolls through these foreign streets.

So begins...

Roady Domene

"Roady. You're trying too hard! At this rate you're going to make it worse, you idiot." Raith scolded his young pupil.
"Damn it! I can't do it! Lets just leave it. Who's cares about a damn bird anyway. Nothing but little annoyances that keep me awake at night." Roady protested back to his master. This was quickly followed with a sharp smack to the back of his head. "What the hell was that for?!" Roady groaned, holding the back of his head.
"You really are an imecile, aren't you?" Raith shook his head from side to side.
"You'd be doing terrific if you had been trying to kill the bird. I figured that you would be able to handle a spell as simple as this, but it seems that you're too hard headed." Raith commented, while moving his hand over to the fallen bird. It's left wing was fractured and the pair just happened to wander by and notice it struggling. He then concentrated life energy into his palm, pushing it into the bird's body and making it flow into it's wing.
"Cure is a stupid spell. Why would I ever need that? As long as I'm strong enough to take down my enemies, healing magic is useless." Roady pouted and began walking off.
"Hold up there. And just where do you think you're going? We're not done with you're first lesson, brat!" Raith reached out his free hand grabbed the scruff of Roady's coat collar, pulling him back causing him to fall on his ass. "Stupid old man. Who do you think you are treating me like a little kid?! I'm already 14!" Roady got up and turned around to throw a punch at Raith, only to have his arm caught before it reached Raith's head.
"You truly are a hopeless child. Thats it. No eating today. You're going to spend extra time training while I eat and watch you." Raith turned and smiled, taunting Roady.
"What the hell?! You can't do that! I'll starve! And quit calling me a child, bastard!" Roady protested taking his arm back with a jerk.
"I hardly doubt that you'd starve from one day without food. I'd watch that tongue of yours as well. No girl's ever going to be interested in you that way." Raith chuckled at the thought. "Hmph. Like I give a crap what any girl thinks. I don't mind being by myself for the rest of my life, as long as I'm strong." Roady pouted, looking away once more. The next thing he heard were muffled, excited chirping noises. He turned around in surprise.
"Ah! It looks like it's all better now." Raith remarked, uncovering the bird, who immedeatly flew away with it newly fixed wing.
"You see Roady. Life can be found almost anywhere, whether it be in a bird or a human. Caliber magic isn't only used for destruction. People like us are able to take a little part of our own life and give it to someone or something else that needs it more. You can't always keep that greedy, self-centered attitude up. How about we start this lesson in sharing, by donating(sell) a few of your organs in the next town?!" Raith turned towards Roady, with a mischevious grin on his face.
"I guess I can kind of see what y-... Like hell! If you're so generous, then donate your own organs! Aren't you the one being greedy, asshole!" Roady charged at Raith, only to be held back by Raith arm's holding against Roady's head.
"Ahahahaha! You're so easy to tease. I was just kidding, runt! But believe me. Cure is sure to be a valuable spell in the future for you. And remember, p-Time to pay the rent, brat!" Roady awoke to the sound of the Innkeeper's voice. He then began knocking on the door.
"I only gave you a room before paying because you were wet from the rain! I sure hope you can pay up!" The inkeeper then began to knock harder.

(OOC Note: Roady has learned in the past that when Raith says the word "donate", he means "sell". He also didn't possess near the amount of physical strength he does now, until he turned around 15-1/2)

'Looks like its time to leave.' Roady thought to himself as he grabbed his bag and hung it over his shoulder and his fauchard, then walked over to the window. At this time, the Innkeeper opened the door, only to find an opened window and an empty room. "Damn that brat! Thats the last good deed I ever do." The Innkeeper rushed over to the window and searched the ground outside. "How did this kid drop from the 3rd floor without breaking a leg or something?!" The Innkeeper asked no one in particular. The truth was, that Roady had instead of jumping, skillfully walked along the rim of the window and climbed onto the roof. He then later traveled down the roof, onto he found a slope close enough to the ground for him to jump. As he did, several people in the crowded streets pointed in awe and confusion as he leapt from the building and onto a open space in the crowd. 'I guess I should start looking for that guild now.' He immedeatly thought, as he walked along the streets like nothing had happened at all.

"Someone stop that kid! He skipped out on paying for his room!" The portly Innkeeper was outside the front door and pointing at Roady at this time. He seemed to be panting heavily and sweating a little, indicating that he was running down the stairs. Roady could even make out a bump on the man's head, which was probably from losing his footing and falling down the stairs. The sight was almost laughable to Roady. He might have even made out a little chuckle, had a couple of patrol guards not shown up, peering in his direction. 'Dammit.' He though inwardly, dashing through the crowd, knocking a couple of people down as he rushed though. The guards were after him, but seemed to be having trouble with the citizens that were complaining about him knocking into them. They were trying to give the guards more resolve for catching him, but really they were only slowing them down. When the guards finally made it into an open clearing, Roady had already climbed over a front gate of some type of establishment, and had been lengthening himself alongside a wooden pillar that seemed to be holding a half of a sign. The guards searched for him, and went in a random direction, as he was out of sight.

Roady checked to make sure they were completely gone, and then let his guard down, walking out from behind the post. 'It looks like I'm out of the woods for now, but that wasen't exactly the closest call I've had involving a keep.' He let out a short yawn, and began stretching. "Bastards had to chase me first thing in the morning before I could at least stretch?" He sighed, completing his little routine. 'Why was I having a dream about Raith? Can I really not get that incedent out of my head?' Roady thought to himself. It had been 2 years since the dragon had attacked him and Raith. He apparently still hasn't gotten over it. "Well, lingering in the past never helps anything. I should get back to finding that guild. What was the name again...Dra-...Draco Edge..." Roady found himself subconsiously reading the sign that was in front of the gate. "Really? Am I here already?!" He exclaimed in surprise. Roady quickly turned to find a fairly large building behind him. He could see that there were a few people outside of the building. At least half of them seemed around his age. But the main portion of the guild was most likely inside. "Huh... I guess I'll go make my introduction then..." Roady half-heartidly said, cautiously approaching the building.

Shae Anne Ramine

Shae was met by Eliza when she walked into the guild, she smiled at her, and it seemed that she had caught the attention of Akio. Or rather, it wasa really obvious, she caught the attention of Akio, she turned to him to see him practically drooling. Shae rolled her eyes but gave a smile, he would never change. All the ass kickings in the world would not change this guy. She watched as Eliza covered up her chest and screamed pervert several times, saying she would knock him out in what sounded like the least threatening voice in the world. "Shae help me, he needs to be punished! You understand he is a womanizer, we have to!" she shouted. She faced away from Akio, grinning a bit, and stuck her hand out, zapping him with lightning a bit - or a lot - or maybe enough make him hit the ceiling. "Careful Akio, or I'll burn your eyes out of their sockets!" she shouted, though playfully. "Well that's enough of that." she said looking at Eliza, "Well now you just look like you're trying to cover up imaginary nakedness, silly." She looked over at the job board - it was calling out to her, she had to do a job.

Walking up to the job board, she saw a quest named Madness on the High Seas, which immediately caught her attention for obvious reasons. It was a decent reward, especially considering only two people would collect from it. She was always heavily rewarded in S class mission so she didn't stress rewards too much. Taking it from the board, she walked up to Eliza, "Hey, what do you think? You want to go hunt for a sea monster?" she asked, with emphasis on sea monster. She understood the obsession and the man trying to get that stupid thing, a little bit. "Reward is one hundred fifty jewels." Shae handed the paper to Eliza, and as she did, she noticed a new person walking up to the guild. She'd never come across them before, she wondered if they were lost, wanted to join, were a new member - she didn't know.

His body language made it look like he was weary of approaching the guild, or just not one for socialization. "Looks like we might have another one." she said happily to Eliza. "I'll be right back." Shae walked outside of the guild and up to the boy, he looked young, and was small for a boy - but still taller than her - who wasn't. "Hi!" she shouted from a small distance. As she was finally in front of him, she introduced herself. "My name is Shae, and I am a member here at Draco Edge, may I assist you with something? Sorry if it's a little loud in there, just a little bit of...festivities I suppose." She took a moment to really look at the boy this time, he had chains wrapped around his right arm, his hair was messy but perhaps that was just a style...or something. It was cute though. She thought for a moment, feeling that those chains had a purpose, other than a fashion statement. "If you don't mind my asking, what kind of magic is requiring you to use those?" She didn't really think she would get an answer, she did believe she was spot on with her guess though.

"Aaaaand." Shae added, "Ah, and this is Seibi." she said motioning to Seibi. "Oh speaking of...Seibi I think Ana found some mission she wants to go on, maybe check that out. Do you think she'll want to go today?" Shae gave a weak smile. It made her think of the mission she wanted to do though, hopefully Eliza would want to go, anything near the water was begging for her to take care of it. And a sea monster? Who would think they would actually exist. "Would you like to speak to the head of the guild?"

Morien Morningstar; Bar

His last word seemed to hang a bit longer than what was the typical response one might expect from him, as if the decision was something not all ready set in the rosetta stone of his minds workings. Making such "snap" judgements was something he was not particularly versed at and it showed. "... I'm afraid I won't be able to accompany you on the Cat hunt mission. There's an important matter that I can't ignore. -Fingers tucking into themselves, forming a tightly nit ball, not in anger but solidarity. His expression seemed to become more focused- . " I trust that you two can handle the mission without my participation. I have faith in your ability as fellow Draco Edge mages. Although they hadn't worked as team for all that long. Morien understood his teamates enough to relax a bit of his authoritive guard around them. Nodding to both Akumu and Fumiko, before setting sights to Mordecai and Chayton who had just arrived bearing the food for the feast. He recognized Mordecai immediately by his use of antiquated speech. Taking a few steps in the direction of the Bar area, pausing before turning to posit his teamates "Oh and one more thing... Mission Impossible is tomorrow so make sure to get enough rest and practice between then."

The knightly teen setting aside a stool to seat himself onto. His arms relaxing about his sides as his body gave into the effects of his early morning training that had carried on to the late eve , eyes now folding solidly shut. He was one of the few people capable of sleeping on just about anythng however the problem was in staying asleep. Of course, his sleep walking habit would take over and he was so good at it that it was like he had never went to sleep at all, while sleep walking much of his co-ordindination, reasoning and communication ability remained. He was known to hold a conversation and even completed a quest or two while under the effects of the "trance". To those who hadn't know him, it looked staged, although what did change was his overall personality. In his "trance" it can be argued that the ego portion of his consciousness surfaced making him do and say things he otherwise wouldn't out of decency and common sense. However, there was no sort of filter to keep in check his judgemental thoughts in check. Sort of like being inebriated.

"Hey you, you with all the stupid chains and zippers " -Raising a finger to Roady Domene-. "You think your hot stuff because you're the new guy and you're receiving attention from S-ranked mages like Shae who I've never seen with a man but that's besides the point, but guess what? No one cares, What matters is your ability to produce results for the guild. I hope you don't end up on my team. I have enough weight I'm carrying"

Roady Domene

Roady continued his voyage through the front yard of the guild, until suddenly, a woman, who seemed fairly older than him walked up to him.
"Hi! My name is Shae, and I am a member here at Draco Edge, may I assist you with something? Sorry if it's a little loud in there, just a little bit of...festivities I suppose." She said to him. Roady gave her a blank look, completely drained of expression, and merely blinked in responce to her. He then noticed the woman, as it appeared that she began taking a closer analysis of him. He felt a tinge of irritation as she looked upon his hair with a strange look in her eyes. He felt like yelling at her. He didn't have to pay attention to notice her reaction to his chains. Especially since she mentioned them aloud.
"If you don't mind my asking, what kind of magic is requiring you to use those?" The woman asked him with a hint of inerest in her voice.

Roady opened his mouth to respond, but suddenly a man came out through the already opened guild doors. Roady didn't notice how much the noise intensified when they were open until now. The man appeared to be just slightly younger than Roady, probably around the same age, and clad in armor. He had a slightly darker skin-tone than Roady was used to seeing. 'He's been out in the sun too long.' Was his internal thought.
"Hey you, you with all the stupid chains and zippers. You think your hot stuff because you're the new guy and you're receiving attention from S-ranked mages like Shae who I've never seen with a man but that's besides the point, but guess what? No one cares, What matters is your ability to produce results for the guild. I hope you don't end up on my team. I have enough weight I'm carrying." The man all of a sudden started ranting at him. Roady maintained his deadpan expression, as not to give away any signs of weakness. He began walking up to the man, almost threateningly, but decided he didn't want to cause any trouble before joining the guild. He left the woman to deal with her own issues, taking the man's appearence as an excuse to evade her question about his chains. He took some interest in her. As for the man, he would have to deal with him first.
He walked into the guild, intentionally bumping Morien as he went. "As if I could care in the least if a high ranking member acknowledged me. I was actually going to ask if she was the guildmaster, seeing her power." He then took Morien's arm in a swift motion, staring intensly at the outline of it. "You're not nearly as strong as she is. I could see her magical power outlining her body without even looking closeup. Your's is pretty thin compared to her's. You're nothing but a waste of my time. And join your team? You don't have to worry about that. I work on my own, anyway. I couldn't care the least for the guild's funds. All I'm here for is making my own living off of solving other people's magical problems. If I get some useless item as a reward, I could definately donate(sell) it to the guild. See you around, "bastard." Roady gave him a michevious grin, as he finished walking into the guild.

(OOC Note: As I was describing in my 1st post, Roady's master Raith uses the word "donate" actually meaning sell. This is another habbit of his, that Roady has picked up in his lifestyle. Good influences, right? I will also edit Roady's profile to make it to where Raith taught him how to see other mage's magical power. Oh. And Roady called Morien a bastard, because as you should be able to tell by now, he tends to curse at the end of alot of his sentences. Not because of Morien's past. But it'll be fun to see how Morien reacts to being called that. Oh! And his reaction to Shae looking at his hair, is because she stated that it looked cute in her post, and Roady could sense it somehow. xD)

He looked around, noticing many strange, and weird residents occupying it. He saw the woman from earlier who now seemed to be tending to her own business in the guild. He decided to look for the strongest magic outline, and ask if they were the guild leader. He saw a variety of different outlines. Some were on pair with his, and even slightly more powerful. Others he had to get a closer look to make out. He even took notice of a small brunette girl, who seemed to be acting fairly mature for her appearence. Her magic power was very close to Shae's, as Roady remembered. He then looked through a window that must have led to the kitchen, notcining a well-built man. He was particularly impressive. As soon as he was about to enter the kitchen, something almost horrifyingly amazing caught his perithrial vision. He quickly turned his head to a large man, who seemed to be about as muscular as the one in the kitchen. But there was a kind of finesse that practically just screamed, "I'm the boss!!!!!!!" about him. Roady almost began shaking at the intense magical flow immeating from the man. Not only was it huge, but it actually seemed to continue spreading throughout the guild. It gave off a pressure, that was almost suffocating. 'How can these people stand this?! Are they somehow immune to his magic?! Just how powerful is this man?!' Roady thought, his eyes wide with surprise, and a small bit of fear. He quickly came to his senses, and shook his head. He took a deep breath and began walking towards the man, strolling cautiously. Once he finally made it to him, he spoke up.
"My name is Roady Domene. I am a former apprentice of the Caliber Mage and fugitive, Raith Kaleheister. I wish to join your guild and make a living for myself!" Roady yelled the last part out. He had been gradually getting louder as he spoke to the man. He was trully afraid of him. Roady had only witnessed power such as his from the dragon 2 years earlier. He had never thought to find it in a human.

(OOC Note#2!: I'm just making it to where Raith is somewhat wellknown, being a rogue mage and all that.)

Fumiko glanced at Akumu. As she waited for a response she turned around. Someone seemed to be calling her. As she looked she saw Morien. He was waving at her, so she quickly got up and pulled Akumu over, who seemed to be in a trance of some sort. Must be the cookie, she thought. As she walked over he seemed to say something that she couldn't really hear what he was saying. All of a sudden he started to talk again. "... I'm afraid I won't be able to accompany you on the Cat hunt mission. There's an important matter that I can't ignore," he said.

Oh, she thought, I wonder what that is... I guess it could be a solo mission. Then Morien said, " I trust that you two can handle the mission without my participation. I have faith in your ability as fellow Draco Edge mages. Hmm... I guess we are taking a mission with just the two of us then. Fumiko glanced at Akumu again who now seemed to be asleep.

Finally Morien said,"Oh and one more thing... Mission Impossible is tomorrow so make sure to get enough rest and practice between then." Fumiko slapped her head. She knew she had been forgetting something. She decided that she could maybe practice with Akumu, but she wasn't sure when she would wake up. As she was thinking about this she saw Morien sit town. He then got into an argument with some new guy. Fumiko silently laughed to herself. This was going to be an interesting tun of events.

Then the guy started to talk back to Morien. As she watched this she noticed that he was wearing a bunch of chains. She couldn't decide if it was suppose to be a weird fashion statement or something fore his magic. She then shook Akumu to wake her up. Then Fumiko asked, "So would you like to practice for tomorrow then?" As she waited for a response she went to go and get another lollypop. This time it was a sweet strawberry one.

Akumu Hoshimi

(OOC: Sorry for the lack of response >,<'' didnt know it started 2nd post)

Akumu's blue eyes snapped open to the sound of a loud slap against skin. She jerks her head toward Fumiko and blinks. What was wrong, she wondered, blinking more in confusion. Was she mad, so she hits herself...?
"Sorry Fumiko, its warm and well i dozed off.." She said her words lingering quietly as she studies her face expression and thoughts. She sighs before continuing. "Im guessing you will like to practice for "mission impossible'?" She said as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.

Looking off, she remains quiet not sure what else to say until she receives an answer. Knowing only one solution for this awkward moment, she forms a lollipop with her magic and begins sucking on it only to realize it had no flavor...Akumu mentally groaned, this is why she hated "Arc of Embodiment", it may seem easy forming things from the users imagination, but to have the item more accurate the user had to know the item clearly. And for this lollipop, she wasn't sure how to create a flavor..

"Well lets go to the training grounds, I need to practice my magic and hand to hand combat." Akumu said bluntly, no emotion in her words. But her eyes said it all, she was determined to get her powers under her control. At the thought of getting better got her fired up, so she reached for Fumiko's arm and pulled like a little child urging her mom to go into a toy shop. "lets go Fumiko-chan!" Her voice suddenly growing cheerful.

Loritova

Loritova stood as a monument of the Draco Edge. He didn't even bother with participating in the pre-feast banter, it was all in good fun, or so he thought. He was honestly just waiting for Mordecai and Chayton to return, along with the numerous others who had still be out and about. He heard some commotion at the entrance and noticed that Mordecai and Chayton had entered the Guild with what appeared to be their spoils. He simply gave the duo a look of satisfaction that would say 'Good Job' all by itself. They both responded with a simply nod and continued. He also noticed that Ana and Seibi had returned from their recent mission. "Ah, everyone is slowly reuniting." The giant man smiled a hearty grin. Next thing he noticed was the large ruckus that Mordecai was causing in the kitchen, "Oye, that ape..." Loritova was joking as always, but still, he found that man to be something else. He continued to eye the room as he could noticed Sotofu walking over to Theo and the rivals, Charlotte and Ana bickering again. He even noticed the quiet day-dreamer, Elysia, creating her little fantasies in her head. 'So innocent...' He again grinned.

He again noticed how, quite literally, all the little chimps were gathering in the hall. He, as always, loved to watch the rivalries burn, it just lit his own fire. He chuckled quietly as Sotofu and Theo seemed to argue in their corner, and how Ana approached their new Dragon Slayer, only to be intervened by Charlotte. He laughed quite loudly as the duo began fighting. "It's good to have rivals such as that..." He faintly had a recollection to his own past; where he had his own rival on the battlefield. He noticed that Cassadin and Chowa seemed to join in on the fun of the girls' rivalry. "Oh fools." Loritova knew it was better to stay out of these little arguments those two girls started, after all, it was their way of training.

Alas, Loritova noticed that the vigilant Sandra stepped into the growing bout between Bittersweet and Ice Breaker. "Was that such a good idea, Sandra...?" He knew at this distance she couldn't even remotely hear his words, but still, the thought lingered. 'These little skirmishes that these little chimps make are part of their training... Without constant rivalry they'll never improve... Why not let them fight their issues out?' He began bellowing a stout chuckle as a new figure had seemingly entered the guild and presented himself to Loritova. "My name is Roady Domene. I am a former apprentice of the Caliber Mage and fugitive, Raith Kaleheister. I wish to join your guild and make a living for myself!" Loritova looked rather inquisitively at the small boy. "Raith Kelheister, as in the THE Raith Kaleheister, the Head of the 2nd Infiltration Sabotage Unit? That baffling ape is still alive?" Loritova was rather surprised at the news and laughed rather loudly as he stepped away from the balcony as to sneak out of the sight of the guild. "So you, Roady, are the apprentice of the Caliber Mage? I'd doubt that old fool would take in an apprentice, especially a young monkey as yourself! Anyways, pardon me, I just haven't heard from the old man in ages." He shrugged and recomposed himself. He hunched down, bending his legs so he could check out the boy rather effectively. He got face to face with the kid, eyeing him down. "You're welcome to join Roady, apprentice of Raith!" He released a hardy laugh as he gave the boy a firm pat on the back. "Welcome to Draco Edge, now go talk to Kacie to get introduced."

Loritova was always glad to check out new monkeys to add to his Guild. He just couldn't ever turn anyone down, it was virtually impossible, but he would always keep his eyes and ears peeled, just in case. He took his place, again leaning on the balcony rail. "I do believe it's almost time to start the feast, Kacie." He looked down at the bartender, grinning as he could easily see down her shirt, hopefully she wouldn't realize his precarious view.

Mordecai Cezaero

Mordecai knew he hadn't much time to cleanse himself of the blood of his spoils. He entered his room without causing too much ruckus. He grunted, looking around to a rather clean room. He took cautious steps towards the sink, hoping to avoid getting blood on anything. He rinsed his hands a grabbed new garb to cover his bare chest, knowing the everyone would appreciate his fresh change of clothing. He only had the one wardrobe for all occasions... his semi-transparent brown shirt that was already too small for him, it didn't do much except keep him a little cleaner than not wearing it. After replacing his bloody shirt with a new one, he decided to polish his lovely polearm. He immediately grabbed a rag and soaked it for a few seconds. Once it appeared sopping wet, he began cleaning off the thick red liquid from his spear, some of it having dried already. "Hmmm" Mordecai let out one simple grunt, not needing many words at this time. He finished removing the traces of blood from his spear and threw it onto his bed. Having completed everything he found necessary, he found himself presentable, as always, and walked out of his room towards the hall. He entered that bar only to find the end of some rather large... fight? He couldn't quite figure out what exactly happened, and to be frankly honest, it didn't mean much to him.

Roady relaxed a bit as the man seemed surprised by his statement. Perhaps he isn't as intimidating as I thought.
"Raith Kaelheister, as in the THE Raith Kaleheister? The Head of the 2nd Infiltration Sabotage Unit? That baffling ape is still alive?!" Roady immideatly began shuffling around his opinion of the guildmaster in his head. Surely the mention of a name couldn't have this big effect of someone. That was until he comprehended the word 'alive'. He felt something die inside him as he thought about the word. The guild master than continued on to talking, and laughing. He made his way over to the balcony behind him, perhaps to step away from the rest of the guild for a somewhat private conversation. Although, Roady thought that might be impossible, as the guild leader was a noticably loud person.

"So you, Roady, are the apprentice of the Caliber Mage? I'd doubt that old fool would take in an apprentice, especially a young monkey as yourself! Anyways, pardon me. I just haven't heard from the old man in ages." The man said to him, seeming to have calmed down a bit. Roady clenched his fists as he was about to reply, but was interupted as the man turned to him and bent down to look him face-to-face.

"You're welcome to join Roady, apprentice of Raith!" Loritova said brightly to Roady, as he patted him on his back, and told him to make his way towards a woman named Kacie. For the entire conversation, Roady hadn't gotten a single word in. He had finally completely his analysis of the guild master.
'He's loud, a little irritating, compares everyone to monkeys, and annoyingly talkative. Are all guild masters like this?' Roady returned his deadpan expression and continued starring at the man in dissapointment. He expected someone more strict, fairly reserved, and intimidating. Not this.

Roady sighed to himself as he walked over to the woman Loritova had pointed out before. He then noticed that he hadn't even gotten the guild master's name. Not that it mattered too much. 'He dosen't seem to focus very much on himself as he does towards others.' Roady thought, who decided to continue taking note on the guild leader's personality. Once he had reached the woman known as Kacie, Loritova called out to her. Roady couldn't help but notice the juvenile glare in his eyes. He then turned his head to where the man was looking, while making one final analysis. 'This guild leader is a complete pervert. I might reconsider choosing a different guild at this point.'

"I was told by the guild master up there that I should come to you in order to officially join the guild. Is this true? Speak quickly!" Roady asked the woman, although it seemed more like an order. He had his arms crossed, with his Fauchard leaning against his shoulder. Roady was very anxieous to get out of here and start a job. He wasn't sure where he was going to sleep tonight, but money was a neccisity.

Shae Anne Ramine

Her conversation with the new member, or possible new member was short lived. In reality, she didn't even get anything out of the boy. He had instead decided to show himself in, get into it with one of the members a bit, with something that concerned her as well - she wasn't sure why. Something about her power over the other person's power - and that the boy could see it? Well that was interesting. Usually, one could feel magical power from those who were very strong, but seeing it was something different. She would keep an eye on him, for sure. Shae heard a ruckus from inside of the guild and by the time she walked inside, what she had seen was a mess, and tension between the everlasting rivalry between Ana and Charlotte. She did like them as individuals at times, but as mages, they were childish and idiotic. Both of them got on her last nerve, and one day, she would snap - one day. She caught site of Chowa, who appeared to be undressing? In the guild in front of everyone? Well that was not like him. But as she stood in the doorway, she was able to see the look on his face, which made her own expression quite solemn. She couldn't help but pity him in that very moment, whatever was going through his head that made him freeze up. It really didn't even matter what he was doing, it was just bothersome to watch. But what was the big deal, anyways? He then turned around and made his way out of the room saying he refused. She sighed and scanned the room to find the boy from before.

The boy had found Loritova, amongst all the talk she barely heard the conversation they were having - or rather, the guildmaster talking at him. He wasn't someone of many words it seemed. But alas, it seemed that he had been accepted to the guild, as he walked over to Kacie to finalize things. The look on her face could have mirrored that of a mother watching her child's first footsteps. It was like she was proud of him, though she didn't know him. She smiled and started to walk towards the boy to give him a more official welcome, walking past the drama infested area with a brief agitated expression. That mess, she really didn't know how some of them even got in here. "Hey you!" Shae said running up to the boy, practically flinging herself at him and hugging him. Shae was known to be that person to pop people's personal bubbles, and she knew it. She was otherwise harmless, and didn't go as far to push people's buttons or make them extremely uncomfortable. "I guess an official welcome is in order." she gave the boy a warm smile, not really expecting any words in return. She nodded at Kacie as a greeting, Kacie wasn't really an active mage in terms of things like missions, but she was a good asset to the guild. Shae turned to see Eliza sitting down with the flyer, regardless of her wishes, she was determined to that mission, she wanted to do a mission, and one about a water monster? "Say, you should look into finding yourself a team of some sort, the guild is funner that way you know."

And as she did sometimes, she just couldn't help herself, "Want to go with Eliza and I to slay a water monster. It's a class A mission, but you are welcome to come." Shae had this habit of seeing a new member, and immediately getting attached to them, based on the littlest little details. Tofu and his general nature, possibly one of two friends that she had here, Eliza and her purity and how it affected her magic, and Seibi and his magic and the fact he was so quiet and reserved. But this boy she was just curious about, he also didn't seem like one for small talk, which made her feel the need to get words out of him - anything." Seibi had been the one to ignore her, and she figured this boy would too. "My team is just a team of one other and myself, so the money would be split between just the two of you." There were times where Shae gave just Eliza the money, because she took a lot of S class missions, not to mention her family...there was a brief flashback of the moment before she ran away from home. It was so vivid, she saw her father screaming at her, and saw him hitting her repeatedly. But then as always it went black, and she just saw the bodies, the expressions she could still remember - what did haunt her throughout her life, was her inability to forget anything. She snapped back to the present and wondered why that popped into her mind then, she put her hands on her hips, "Welp, after it's all official, what do you say?" Her expression changed slightly, looking impatient, but she appeared to be pumped up - she loved missions.

Loritova
Draco Edge: Bar

Today was the day. The day he had been preparing for all month, which was short considering it was only the 9th of October. But yes, today would be a rather special event. The old man was fond of such things, especially the ones that involved every member to run around like a dull sheep such as this one. “Mission Impossible.” The thrill of excitement crawled through his whole being as he muttered them.

It was an event that would test the skills of the little monkeys that were gathering underneath the balcony. Well, sort of. It was mostly an event for the guild master's own amusement. Watching his followers squirm as they tried to complete an almost impossible task. He scratched the red hairs that held onto his chin while anxiously waiting for every member to gather in the bar.

When the last monkey had gathered with the rest of the guild members, Loritova rose his muscular arms above him announcing with a deep and loud voice: “Welcome everyone!” He paused, walking closer to the steel railing that was part of the balcony. “Today, is the day. No doubt you have all heard of 'Mission Impossible', and are most likely eager to hear what I have planned for it.”

Loritova rested both his arms on the railing, eyeing each member with a content expression. “First, let me explain the basic rules. Each of you is split in teams of two, whatever team completes the task first is the winner, and will receive a special reward that I will announce after the contest.” Another pause followed, the old man was now slowly walking along the steel railing, eventually meeting with his followers downstairs, at the bar.

“Anything goes in this event. Should a teams cross paths, they are allowed to disable one another in combat. Whoever loses the battle will forfeit the contest, and is to return to the guild-house and wait for the others to finish.” The red-haired man paused again, slowly walking towards a basket made out of straw that contained the names of Draco Edge's members. “You will each pick a piece of paper. One this paper you'll find two names. One is your own, the other will be your partner's name.” Magical appearing words, yay!

As he continued speaking, Loritova approached each member to let them grab a piece of paper. “Do not, under any circumstance, reveal your paper while still in this house. Failure to do so, will automatically mean you forfeit the contest.” He paused, tossing the straw basket onto the counter. “At precisely 12 O'clock, you will all be transported to a path assigned to your team. There, your task will be revealed.”

“That will be all. Good luck, and I will see you all when you return here.” The guild master went back to his usual place, and patiently waited for every member to be transported to their assigned path.

It was time, one by one, every Draco Edge member was transported to their starting position. It had begun, Mission Impossible...

Roady awoke to what appeared to be the Guild Master's loud, booming voice. He grumbled incoherently and then kicked the tent's exit flaps open.
"Who the hell is making all of that noise?!" He stuck his head out and yelled, seeing nothing but dirt. He then finally remembered where he was, and sighed before going back into the tent. “Welcome everyone! Today, is the day. No doubt you have all heard of 'Mission Impossible', and are most likely eager to hear what I have planned for it. Loritova announced as soon as guild members started gathering before him, as he stood at his usual spot overlooking the guild.
"Are all guild masters this loud in the morning?" Roady complained, as he slipped on his red coat and buttoned it up. He then proceeded to brushing his teeth, stepping outside the tent to do so. 'And what is Mission Impossible anyway? Does whoever accomplishes it get some kind of reward? I need to start making some jewel soon. I can probably rent a room here if I do. Tche. Why did I have to agree to go with that girl on the hunting job? I could have just gone on my own." Roady scrolled through his thoughts before spitting out the residue that resides in his mouth onto the open dirt. He then got what was left out by gargling some water and spitting that onto the dirt as well. He then went back to take down the tent that he had borrowed from the guild and stored it in his pack. He had been camping in the unused land area behind the guild.

Roady then made his way around the guildhouse, turning right again until he was in front of the guild doors. 'You can just leave and never see any of them ever again.' Roady thought to himself, before he pushed the guild doors open and strolled inside. "First, let me explain the basic rules." He saw an empty seat at the bar and took it, before returning his attention to Loritova. 'Great. Now there are rules? Fantastic.' Roady thought to himself as Loritova went on.
“Each of you is split in teams of two. Whatever team completes the task first is the winner, and will receive a special reward that I will announce after the contest." Loritova announced before walking down to where everyone else was. “Anything goes in this event. Should the teams cross paths, they are allowed to disable one another in combat. Whoever loses the battle will forfeit the contest, and is to return to the guild-house and wait for the others to finish... You will each pick a piece of paper. On this paper you'll find two names. One is your own, the other will be your partner's name. Do not, under any circumstance, reveal your paper while still in this house. Failure to do so, will automatically mean you forfeit the contest." Loritova finished explaining the rules. 'Fighting eh? That makes things a bit more interesting. But teams? Whats with this place and teams? This is going to be annoying. Maybe I can just ditch whoever I'm with and get the reward for myself. Then again, if I end up in a fight and have a strong partner, that could help me get further to his chances of completing the task.' Roady pondered how he would play things out when it was time to begin. Then Loritova began to speak once more.

"At precisely 12 O'clock, you will all be transported to a path assigned to your team. There, your task will be revealed. That will be all. Good luck, and I will see you all when you return here.” Loritova announced as he began putting the basket in front of everyone for them to draw from. When it was Roady's turn, he seemed a bit hesitant at first, but snatched one up. He then tooked towards the clock. 'It dosen't look like I have to wait long.' Roady thought as the clock was already about to hit 12. "Here I go." Roady said right as the clock hit 12.
Roady wasn't the least bit surprised when he was suddenly teleported from the spot he sat. He decided to ignore the surrounding area for now and find out who he was paired up with. He saw his name, and a different one right next to it. 'Chayton? Who is that? Is he strong?' Roady thought as he turned to see if his teamate was there. Roady hadn't exactly gotten to know very many of the guild members on his first day. But thats all fine and dandy, unless he has to spend time with them and dosen't even know their name.

Roady Domene

Roady turned to reveal to himself his teamate for Mission Impossible. He didn't try in the slightest to hide his shock and disbelief at what stood before him. There wasn't merely one, but two people standing before him. "W-What the hell is this?! Do you guys really expect me to tolerate two of you at the same time?! I was barely willing enough to stick with one of you!" Roady then looked at his paper that he refrained from looking at earlier. 'Sotofu Katsu and Kuroi Lightblade...' He read silently to himself, then looking back towards the other two. "Forget it, I'm going on ahead. If you still want to do this team thing, then don't fall behind. I'm not dealing with any lightweights." Roady ordered in the rudest manor he could muster up, as he made his way through the forest they ended up at.

Roady didn't stop to see if the other two had caught up, but saw a weird glow in the corner of his eyes. It came from the paper he had gotten from Loritova. It had somehow gotten back in Roady's hand even though he was sure he had thrown it away at the start point. He looked at it, and noticed that the words had been replaced since the last time he had taken a look at it. Their names were gone, and were replaced with what seemed to be instructions. "Your team has the difficult task of finding, and defeating a Vulcan named Gronag. Rather large, and one of the strongest Vulcan around. Caution is adviced." Roady read aloud.

"Oh? So 'I'm' going to be taking on a Vulcan, eh? Those bastards are pretty tough. Just don't know when to stay down. This should be interesting." Roady said to himself as he continued down a path until he could make out a flowing river ahead of him. 'A river? Aren't we supposed to follow those or something?' Roady seemed to daze off, pondering whether or not he should ask the other two if they knew the area, as they have been here longer than him.
"Remember Roady. Rivers always lead to somewhere. A good chance to find civilization if you're lost. Also good if you're dying of thirst. Hm... Did I forget to boil your's? Ehehehe." Roady snapped back to reality. He had seemed to drift off into a past memory. "Shut up, old man." He said to himself as he made the decision to move further North, up the river. Although, it was purely on instinct.

After a while Roady could make out the mouth of a cave a few yards away from the riverbank. "The note said that we're after the monkey, right? If I remember correctly, Vulcans live in caves. Maybe I'll get lucky." Roady smiled, as he began walking towards the cave, scoping out every edge, expecting something to jump out and attack him. Soon he was facing the cave entrance. "Breaking and entering isn't really my style, but my options aren't very open at the moment." Roady commented before entering, confident that he could take on any beast that may lie in wait.

Kuroi Lightblade

Kuroi felt a little odd as he was transported from his spot in the tree. as he looked around he saw that he was in a forest. he turned to see his team mate. to his surprise he found that he had two teammate's. both of them looked younger than himself. As he went to introduce himself he was cut off by the one with dark hair as he said "W-What the hell is this?! Do you guys really expect me to tolerate two of you at the same time?! I was barely willing enough to stick with one of you! Forget it, I'm going on ahead. If you still want to do this team thing, then don't fall behind. I'm not dealing with any lightweights."

Wow this guy seems like a real punk Kuroi thought to himself No real chance i will be able to work with him he knew if he tried they would just end up fighting each other in the end. As he turned to face his remaining partner he looks somewhat reasonable he thought as he approached the boy. As he held out his hand and said "Hello I am kuroi Lightblade looks like WE are partner's" making sure that that the tone in his voice indicated his attempt to be friendly to him and showing his dislike of the one that walked away "Let's work together" looking at his peace of paper he read his assignment "looks like we need to hunt a Vulcan named Gronag down sounds easy enough" Kuroi smiled to himself as he thought i hope this thing will be strong or that we will run into something strong

Sotofu Katsu

The scenery had a drastic change within a moment's time. What was the wood flooring of the Guild was now dirt and short grass, the walls and roofing replaced with large trees and shrubberies. "Ah, a forest... great." Sotofu walked over to the large tree roots that erupted from the earth. He took his hand and felt the bark of the tree, then he looked to the nearby river where a rather large violet fish sprang from the surface and snatched a large blue toad from its perch on the riverbank. Sotofu wasn't really feeling emotion just his expression that resembled a 'WTF' moment. "Yup... East Forest..." After he watched the interesting display of nature, he returned to the spot he transported to. As he stood awaiting his teammates the sun pierced the treetop canopy above, the rays seemingly focused on Sotofu. "Why must I be the target of the sun..." Sotofu wasn't too happy with this constant predicament; the sun's rays always blinding him. He didn't spot anyone nearby so he checked the almighty parchment... "Kuroi Lightblade and Roady Domene..."

Sotofu wasn't all too sure on whether to be happy or not. 'Isn't Kuroi the new guy... who's... Roady...' For being a magical prodigy, Sotofu was baffled... Was Roady some amazing Rank S that he never met? Who was this Roady character. "Hmph, at least I'll find out soon enough." As soon as he uttered those words, the new mage Kuroi and a kid; just an inch taller than Sotofu but obviously much younger, were transported to the forest. "Damnit..." He tried to hide his relative annoyance that the newer new guy was not only taller but probably younger. At that point that newer noob began to talk. "W-What the hell is this?! Do you guys really expect me to tolerate two of you at the same time?! I was barely willing enough to stick with one of you! Forget it, I'm going on ahead. If you still want to do this team thing, then don't fall behind. I'm not dealing with any lightweights." Sotofu wasn't impressed, in fact, he stood there glaring at the moron before him. "Fine, leave, like we need you." He didn't care, a Vulcan was their objective... A Vulcan. Sotofu actually considered practicing his disassemble magic on the fiery kid. 'Aww man, that would've been funny' Sotofu feigned no interest in the kid that left his company.

At that point, Sotofu turned to Kuroi. "Hello Kuroi, it's a pleasure to work with a Dragon Slayer." He offered a smile and handshake for the sake of common courtesy. 'Being a Dragon Slayer isn't enough to override my hate for Dark Magic though.' Sotofu hid his expression of distaste. "So, I guess we should start searching for this Vulcan, Gronag." He shrugged, "Care to lead the way?" Sotofu knew that he was the superior mage in this situation, but this hunt called for heightened hunting abilities; something all Dragon Slayers should have. 'Maybe I'm assuming too much... although Salamander has heightened smelling capabilities...' He figured that they'd reach their target somehow, someway.

Roady Domene

As Roady lurked deeper and deeper into the cave, he couldn't help but feel excited. If this was one of the strongest Vulcans, then it would definately give him a challenge, seeing as normal Vulcans are already incredibly difficult creatures to deal with themselves. He could feel dense energy dwelling within a cave clearing ahead of him. "Here it is." He said to himself, with a sly smile. Roady then raised his fauchard high in the air, while resonating life energy into the blade. "Sorry. I just couldn't find the door!" He yelled out crashing it down onto the cave wall to his left, fully sure that the clearing lied just beyond it. He was correct. The entire cave rumbled, and it didn't seem to long before it would begin to cave in. "Guess I didn't think that far ahead. I'm going to have to either take this fight outside, or end it fast." He stated, trying to scope out where Gronag was hiding quickly. To his surprise the clearing in the cave was empty. There were several remnants of magical energy gathered around the cave, that Gronag had seemed to leave behind. 'Tche. Guess I gotta play hide and seek with the monkey a little longer.' He thought as the first large slab of rock fell to the ground not too far from his left foot. Roady calmly walked through the cave, paying no mind that a stone could fall on his and easily crush him at any moment.

'If I was a Vulcan, where would I be? Probably out hunting at this time.' Roady thought to himself, as he stepped outside of the cave, a boulder dropping right behind him, closing off the entrance. "Well. I guess he should get pretty pissed that I messed up his place. He might have heard it crumble, and might be racing back over here this instant." Roady chuckled, satisfied with the destruction he had caused. He didn't feel like waiting for the Vulcan to show up, knowing the other two might find Gronag before he does and weaken him. Roady wouldn't feel right if he had to fight Gronag when he wasn't at full strength.

Therefore, Roady chose to continue his pursuit. 'Maybe I can find some tracks or some-...thing.' Roady was displeased to find that the other two had followed his path as well. 'Damn it. They will definatly interfere if the monkey shows up now.' Roady thought, as he ran over was was left of the rocky terrain and jumped off onto a nearby tree. He figured he could find Gronag quicker if he was higher after all. He didn't check to see if the other two had noticed what he was doing, deciding that finding Gronag was more important than dealing with them. Since he could barely see anything, Roady decided to climb higher. After he had gone up about 8 branches, the one he was stepping on snapped causing him to nearly fall. He managed to pull himself up, just barely. "This should be high enough." He sighed, not wanting to risk climbing higher where the branches were most likely weaker. He could now see over most of the smaller trees. Roady noticed a large dirt cloud somewhere in the middle of the trees. He figured it must be Gronag rushing over to see what had become of his home. "I've found you, my prey." Roady smirked deviously.
